The Providore (Raffles Place)

Loud.... VERY LOUD! I need to write capitals, maybe it is to loud for ou to read otherwise...
Temperature is more like outside. There is a lot of aircons, but the door to the outside terrace is always open, so the aircon don't have a real chance. Food was good but singapore typical expensive. You can get sparkling water for 2S$ free flow, thats nice. The Lamp was giant, a German style like serving. Also the Burger was great.
Place is very tiny, the Restaurant same like the tables. If you put a 17" Laptop, the table is occupied. But no need to put: No Internet! OK, at least: They have free internet. Free means: You pay with your Data (Mail or Facebook account). But also don't worry: It is hard to connect. For the cellphone, i need 4 times to disconnect and connect, for the laptop 7 (or more?) times until the loginpage appear... and then asking for my FB Account. That's from the last decade, not from today.

It was a Monday evening hence the restaurant was rather quiet but atmosphere is cosy & peaceful. We ordered 2 mains: Risotto & Lobster Mac & cheese. Had their house-moscato too, overall wonderful dinner & catch up with friend.

Food was superb. Fries was so good which huge bits of salt - it was freshly fried and goes really well with the chipotle mayo which I finished every single drop of it.

I asked for a burger patty to be medium rare and it was not only juicy, it was also very well seasoned - just the way I liked it.

Nothing about this place is disappointing

I’ve ordered from this outlet several times, both in person and for delivery. The food is very high quality and fresh and is always delicious.

The restaurant has nice vibes, very modern feeling. The staff are friendly and attentive.

I recommend the sweet potato wedges and the grilled chicken salad.

I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Vibes, service, and food were amazing as usual. The best thing about Providore is their unwavering consistency in the quality of food across all outlets. Both of our beverages were well worth the money. As for the food, we ordered the English breakfast and baked rotolo. The English breakfast was a solid 10/10. However, the baked rotolo was extremely cheesy, and beyond a certain point, it was tough to eat. (Hence the 4-star review for Food)

Love the design of this outlet and the atmosphere here.

Food is slightly pricey, but the quality definitely justifies the pricing. Beef burger was impressive. Chef got the doneness right and it was perfectly juicy, with tasty caramelised onions. Fries were served with skin on, just the way I love it.

Will come back here for the beef burger.

[1st visit: Saturday breakfast situation] Located in the CBD, prices are higher but it's ok compared to surrounding offerings. They served a good ambience with decent volume of background music, smiley and friendly servers and sleek decor. The food was great but the pastries were excepTIONALLY GOOD! Do try the almond croissants 🥰

[2nd visit: Friday lunch situation] The beef pasta was fantastic!!

Their sandwiches and hot chocolate are incredible. Though a bit pricey but totally worth it. Serves pretty quickly even during rush hours, too. Highly recommend to dine with friends, colleagues, or even alone!

High price is expected with its location. The food taste and preparation are of high quality. The service is fast. 3 minute walk from Raffles MRT exit.

Great food, great place. Have an indoor and outdoor seating.

Central location right on top of Raffles Place MRT. We went for coffee at 5pm and was told to limit to 1 hour. Coffee is good. Lemon meringue and scone done right. Beer was not foamy at first but staff changed immediately after feedback. Service is prompt and polite. Casual ambience good for catch-up.

I came here to catch-up with my friend. I like the ambience.

Menu - you have variety of choices from breakfast, bread and pastries, and more. I like that they have indication for those with specific diet requirements something that I need :)

Staff very friendly and make sure they repeat our orders to Ensure they have it right :)

Quality and portion of food - we ordered Crab Linguini Pasta and Warm Flourless Chocolate Cake with Vanilla ice cream. Quality wise, really nice aldente pasta with just right taste of the spices and you can really say they served generous crab meat therefore we can really taste it :)

As for the dessert - the quality of cake just sooo good, you can taste the chocolate and the bit of it. It was served indeed warm and its crunchiness perfectly matching the vanilla ice cream as it melts. Yummy and just perfect portion as well :)

And drinks we have fresh smoothie and tea. Very fresh tea same as smoothie and refreshing.

Price was I would say it’s mid average sort of price but you won’t get disappointed with the quality

Overall a very satisfied customers and definitely will keep coming back here either for tea break, breakfast or dinner :)

Great brunch spot. We had the pancakes and the English breakfast. The ham was a bit burnt but otherwise the food tasted great. The atmosphere here is also very nice especially for the weekend. Service is also quite attentive as well.

Very good service even though lunch was crowded. Menu items are quite pricey but the dishes are really elaborately flavoured and well cooked! Most importantly as you see from the photos, also very aesthetic. Ordered the roasted chicken leg and crab pasta.

Decent food, great for a quick munch or meet-ups over coffee. Menu is concise, dessert is good.

Ambience is calming and boasts a rustic feel. It's a nice place in a convenient location.

Would recommend any of the mains, Lobster Mac & Cheese, and desserts.

Not crowded as it was not a weekday.

Came here on a weekend (Sunday) so the place was pretty empty. We love the industrial-minimalist interior design style of the place - black + wood colours lit by the afternoon sun. Service was great - prompt & friendly. We ordered a really simple combination of coffee & strawberry cake. Will consider having lunch here next time. Location is very accessible too as it's next to Raffles Place MRT.

All is good after coffee. Very nice atmosphere. Came here for our long weekend getaway so the ambiance was nice and relaxing. Love the greenery surrounding in contrast with skycrapers around.

My reservist buddies and I get together every month for photo-expeditions around the island, but since CB hit us, we had to give our gatherings a momentary hiatus, until now.
One of the highlights of our get-togethers are meals we have together as we catch up on the past month. This time, it was quite a catch-up, and one of us suggested this place.
I've never been here but after today, I will certainly give it another try with the family. It's nestled in the middle of Raffles Place, with a very cosy and ambient atmosphere. Plus the grub is great here. I had the English breakfast, and not only was it loaded with 'ammo' for the day, everything on the plate was just delectably good! Nice place, nice food! I'll be back:)
