B9 Dental Centre (Clementi)

Been a regular since 2016 due to my bad teeth. Done 3 root canals and 4 crowns over the years until now. It is true the waiting times can be bad, but the staff always advise to call before heading down so we can manage our waiting times in the clinic.

So why is the waiting time so long? Oftentimes when you see doctor raymond, he will offer an immediate solution to your issue, say extraction or root canal if necessary, and all these takes up time. If he just asks you to reschedule for treatment at a latet date, you will have to suffer with whatever ailment until then, which defeats the purpose of going in the first place.

The price is also extremely affordable and it is difficult to find such prices with the quality you are getting. My first crown from 2016 still works well without any issues. You just really have to pick between cheap, good and fast. Can't ask for all at the same time.

Also the staff once offered to pay for my grab home(i declined) because my procedure took really long and ended really late. Not saying it is a common thing, but hey this kind of service recovery is really solid.

Will be back for my regular checkups and hopefully no more crowns.

Had my wisdom tooth extracted by Dr. Raymond. Best Dr ever. Very professional and very patient. He's very fast and very assuring too. He assured me no pain at all (except the local anesthesia). Whole process for 2 wisdom tooth extraction is less than 30 min (1 normal and 1 surgery). Recovery is great too. The only problem is the waiting time. Other than that, all is good.

Dr Raymond gave me very good advice, was also very patient explaining to me the importance of removing my wisdom tooth as it is affecting the other teeth. Very assuring and truthful dentist, the best I've ever met. Tried to salvage my molar as well, bt unfortunately it was beyond help, which I am very well aware. No doubts about Mr Raymond and his helpful assistant, they are both great in making my tooth extractions as smooth and painless as possible. Kudos to them both!

went down for a walk in appointment for gum pain, which turned out to be a wisdom tooth extraction. the extraction was so fast and so efficient, and pain lasted for less than 12 hours. really great experience!

Erm to the low star reviews earlier maybe can give B9 another chance. 1-star reviews very hard to overturn one leh need 20 plus 5-star reviews to cover 1 1-star review -.-.

Below was my 1st experience visiting B9 (P.S. no affiliation with anyone there I just random walk-in wanted to share address link to my mum and saw low reviews then come kaypoh):-

Went at 0930, recep took down my particulars and informed me that my turn would be ard 1130 and that they'll call me when it's almost my turn. So impressed I called my mum to tell her abt it while walking home xD

Call came at ard 1107 to ask me to head over at ard 1115 as it was almost my turn.

Reached at 1117 sat down not even 5min I was called in ald (not even enough time to watch finish CNA headlines haha).

I did a molar extraction -- between X-rays, advice from the Dr, contract signing with the recep / nurse / assistant, I never got up from the dental seat and it was all over within 30min. Minimal pain (anesthetic jab), no headaches, clean extraction. Two thumbs two big toes up!

While waiting to foot my bill, I withessed the recep multitasking well; handling multiple walk-ins, unending phone calls, processing payment, and calling patients in -- all while being perfectly patient, attentive, and polite.

Fantastic place with extremely streamlined ops, and perfectly professional and capable staff. 11/10 will stick with them and tell my entire clan abt their awesome services!

We have been under B9 Dental care for years! Sadly our regular branch at The Star Vista is permanently closed. Nearest to us now is the Clementi branch.

Our 1st visit here for our regular checks every 6 months and so happy to see one of our favorite Dentist Dr Palani!

Superb service. I was having bad wisdom tooth infection, the earliest slot was only the following day, told them the pain was unbearable. the next 10mins i received call from clinic ask to come in same day as they managed to squeeze in a slot for me. Appreciate it much.

I have a phobia of going to a dentist since young, so it was not until one of my teeth was aching that I decided to get it sorted out. Asked around for recommendation and was told that B9 has excellent patient care which I totally agree.

I called in and managed to book an appointment a few days later. Ok I will not flog the long wait time issue but ya that is the only nay for me. Saw Dr Raymond and he diagnosed that I need a root canal treatment and off we go, I did not expect the kind of pain (sensitive in Dr's term) during the treatment but I could feel that Dr Raymond was very experienced as the actions taken by him was very decisive, at no point in time did I feel that he was "try try see ok or not". The first phase of the treatment was over in just 30 mins. Followed by a handful more visits until when the crown was installed, 2 times in fact. Because the first crown cracked after installation and it was replaced FOC.

After my root canal treatment was done, I proceeded with my wisdom tooth extraction and surgery. 2 teeth got extracted out and 1 was taken out via surgery. I legit was scared but during the pre-surgery x-ray appointment, Dr Raymond assured me that it would be painless. On surgery day, Dr Raymond explain how it will be done and after administering the local anaesthesia, he said "ok, the worse part is over". It was very assuring to hear that though still I was still gripped with apprehension. After checking on the numbness of the area of operation, swift and decisive action was undertaken again by Dr Raymond, no pain was felt during the surgery. Yes I could hear drilling and stuff going on inside my mouth but that was really unavoidable. The whole operation was completed in under 40 mins I think.

I just got my stitches removed today and Dr Raymond remarked that I am making good recovery. There will still be a few more sessions to go in order to fix everything. Hmm, I do not have experience with other Dr in B9 hence this review is really for Dr Raymond. Less the long wait time, I will rate Dr Raymond and his dental assistants 9 out of 5 stars for their professional service and reasonable + transparent pricing.

The experience was super scary but Dr Raymond and the nurse
were professional and patient too! Surgical extraction went smoothly and now my gum is slowly recovering👌

I am surprised to see the low review, but I will share my own experience. As a foreigner I visited the clinic 2 times for the pain I had and the whole staff were really nice and professional and I would like to thank them so much.
The only thing is I had to wait for over 1 hour to see dentist although I made an earlier appointment. But overall I feel satisfied to be your patient ❤

Visited B9 Dental Centre (Clememti) on Aug31, 2021 for the first time bi- annually scaling/polishing, receptionist is good, helpful and knowledgeable. The dentist and assistant attended to me was very good, experienced and detailed in explanations as to the charges involved. Although the waiting time was a bit lengthy, it is expected and reasonable in medical and dental situations!

Extremely disappointed to received an early morning call around 9.30 am on February 28,2022 from a Lady, claimed to be from B9 Dental to informed me that I have an appointment on March 1, 2022 at 9.00 am for a second time bi-annually visit, which I say, so early and she confirmed back Yes! So, I reached the place at 8.45 am on March 1, 2022 and was told by a lady sitting at the receptionist desk that the appointment is at 12.00 pm and Not 9.00 am!

After 1 year, I went to them for 4 times to do normal scaling & polishing, removal of wisdom tooth and twice for simple filings and I was quite satisfied with their receptionist service and also those dentists that perform it! I hope this dentistry could keep up with it in future as there are too many dentistry located in Clementi Central which is very very competitive! 👍👍👍👍👍

Dr Raymond Lim is the best dentist I ever come across in Spore. He is patient and very pro with his duty. I did a RCT by him and it is painless. 👍

The staff was really nice and patient, they were also really kind and asked about how my sister is doing. They even helped me wipe my mouth which I'm surprised! They even had shows for you to watch it's a bit small for a dental clinic but it's comfortable.The funny thing is a lot of people complain mostly about the time management and the crowd and etc. But you guys have to understand they are sometimes short staff and they are overworking. I understand you have your own opinions . Now time management, as I said they have a lot of patients and it's not easy sometimes they have operations and prepare a clean place and environment for you which takes time. But over all I think this is a good dental clinic! Definitely recommended but if you don't want to wait so long then book it on a day that not a lot of people are going.

My first visit to Dr. Raymond Lim was for a 30year old crowning that chipped. He was very concerned that I could lose my front teeth. However upon further checking, he did his best to save the 2 teeth and recrowned them successfully.The result was very good and I’m very happy with his dedication, care and kindness.The 2 front teeth beside the first 2 crownings also chipped some months later and Dr. Raymond managed the same wonderful result. Thanks to his skill I have 4 lovely front teeth and I’m very grateful and recommend Dr. Raymond for his high standard of work - 5 ⭐ Many thanks too to his kind and efficient assistants at all my visits👍🏻🙏🏻

- and still, waiting time (i was once there for an appt at 4:45pm. An elderly started complaining around slightly past 6pm because he was there for an appt since 3:30pm)

Nonetheless, this place is worth your wait.

I was at B9 Dental to remove my wisdom teeth and managed to book an appointment on a weekday afternoon with Dr Raymond two days prior to the surgery. Dr Raymond and the team were friendly and the waiting time was less than an hour after registration. He patiently explained the procedure, possible side effects and post-surgery care of my teeth. The whole process from X-ray to wisdom teeth extraction was smooth. Thank you to Dr Raymond and team for the pleasant experience!

I done my Wisdom teeth surgery and totally not pain during surgery, even the next day I have not felt any painful! Recommend Dr. Raymond! Super experience and patience to handle patient like me (I was very very very scared to see dentist, but now no more fear). BUT, Dr Raymond appointment is quite full. Even though you already booked appointment with him, you still need to bear in mind that you have to wait for him. I willing to wait for him as his skill WORTH it. Also, I can said that their dental charges is super super super reasonable and NO consultation charges at all.

Great dental service! I would totally recommend though I waited quite long for my first visit to extract my wisdom tooth, however, the experience was worth the wait. I was very nervous but Dr Raymond is a skillful, professional and trustable dentist, the surgery was done smoothly, I recover well and fast from the surgery too. When I went back to remove my stitches, it was a great experience with no hassle as well. All in all, I think B9 dental deserves a 5 star review :)

While the waiting time may be rather long, the service rendered is really good and the dentists are very professional.

I feel that my teeth are in safe hands while with them, and that the waiting time is worth it.
Rather go with dentists that take the time to make sure the work is perfect than do a rushed job!
