Café&Meal MUJI Raffles City

I wish not everything has wheat in them! However they are tasty! I thought the pork and lion’s mane mushrooms were delicious. I wish the grain rice, was actually whole grain, and not the mostly white rice with a bit whole grain. I personally don’t like foods too acidic, so the tofu kelp salad and pork were my favorite. Overall, relatively healthy with vegetables.

For a casual lunch at Raffles City, there are many choices: from the posh PS Café to the food court with a large variety of selections. We returned to Muji Café which we had enjoyed a few times already. As with other visits, the food is good. This is not a fine dinning but the ingredients they use are pretty much top quality. It is honest food priced below its worth.

The highlight of our order is the pure organic mulberry juice! It tastes just like you mechanically pressed juice out of freshly picked mulberries in an organic farm in Europe. The juice is ‘thick’ or ‘very gao’. This made us wonder why Muji serves the juice without adding a bit of water or ice. They just pour you a good cup directly from a chilled bottle. It is puzzling that they actually add ice for tea or soda but not for juice. This mulberry juice is organic, ‘gao’ yet at the same price to common apple juice. Order Organic Mulberry juice when you visit as it is surely more worthy.

Their offer of 50% on desert when you order a drink is another irresistible value you should not miss.

It will be great if Muji opens more café in their other outlets or even have more café as independent stores. I am sure more people will enjoy their good quality, reasonable priced food and good services.

Also hope to see more organic juice choices such as pomegranate.

The senior lady manning the seating is the highlight of their services. She serves with enthusiasm and joy which is something hard to come by nowadays in F&B outlets where more overworked staff could not help but to show their grievances towards customers.

If one thing Muji should improve, it has to be the ordering process. It is somewhat confusing and not very efficient. This is especially true to more senior lots whom, from my observation, are actually bulk of their patrons.

Very happy with your staff named Chris at this outlet. She is friendly and very informed on which food pairs well with each other. Also helpful in informing me of other outlets that are nearby my office which I was not aware of to save me on my travel time during lunch hour. Excellent service from her. Food is tasty and even though the set portions look small, it is actually very filling. Grateful that there is not much of a wait (5 mins) to get a seat even though i came during a busy lunch hour. Staff there were quick to clean the tables and made sure guests quickly got seats.

Good sized outlet with snaking queues at lunch. The smell of the kitchen wafts through the area, I wonder if the clothes ever picks up the odour? The cashier area is always quite messy with boxes, cartons & stuff. But hey, I am still thankful for its location and its products with its affordable pricing ❤

Honestly value for money, healthy and delicious! It’s such a treat to be dining here! I love that in both the cold and hot dishes there are proteins in the choices.

The food is well balanced yet flavourful with every bite. It took me so long to finally try and I am so happy to! Yum!!

Delicious food, queue started forming before the opening time, can reserve the table first and then queue up.

We were celebrating a birthday 🎂 and decided to have cake 🍰 and coffee☕!

Apple Rhubarb Crumble (at least i think that's what its called), sweet potato & chestnut and Matcha rolls. We loved it! Just enough of sweetness to satisfy our sugar craving and easy on the hips!

It is a lovely place to catchup with friends over tea, after the lunch peak. No issues looking for seats. Grab a Reserved tag and queue to order your food/drink.

While we didnt have a full meal here, Funny how a friend describe the food - Japanese Cai Png (Economy rice). We might just decide to fight maddening crowds to have a meal here. 😜

A minimalist cafe within Muji, serving healthy food, cafeteria style. Pick and choose your preferred dishes. The quality is good. The 2 set deli comes with onsen egg, which is delicious. Like the meat dishes. Love the dessert - Sweet Potato and Chestnut Roll, and drinks - the Iced Ryukyu Chai and Hibiscus drink. And the nice creamy soup, and healthy grain rice. Go just before meal time cause the queue can be long.

Had lunch with my dance friend today. Been here a number of times. Food never disappoint but the drinks and desserts are mediocre. We had 2 hot and 2 cold delis today. All were very nice. Service staff were accommodating and provided extra cutleries when requested. Atmosphere is great. Had lots of privacy coz I managed to get an individual table. Overall, had a wonderful experience today.

First time trying out restaurant inside Muji, value meal with good quality of food, will try more when passing by again next time

Excellent quality Japanese cuisine and very authentic all the way. The prices are expected abit above the average but worth every penny. We loved it and the service was great as well. A must visit if you are ever at Raffles City 2nd floor. 👍👍👍

5 stars for this cafe, I was impressed with the nanban chicken choice, and the 2 vegetables for sides were also tasty and creamy complimenting my meal well for a 3 deli choice set. The environment was cosy and comfortable, just next to Muji items on sale. The staff were courteous and pleasant. Protip to get the dessert add on as there is 50% discount.

Simple, nutritious and flavourful food that’s guaranteed to fill your belly. Especially love the creamy cumin carrot soup and kale salad (the pomegranate is a nice touch!).

Clean and minimalist cafe inside the Muji store. The cafe opens at 1130am, but the line forms before that! You need to get a seat first before ordering. Ordered the 2 deli set at the counter - multi grain rice, chicken nanban and roasted squash salad . The meal came with hot soup choice of miso or carrot and one side choice of egg or seaweed. The food was delicious and healthy. Highly recommend the seasonal squash salad, it was refreshing with bits of pomegranate! Also had the minty hibiscus tea and carrot cake. The cake was moist, and frosting was creamy! The place can get crowded during meal times so you will have to eat and leave. Overall, a good place for healthy meal!

Extremely filling and nutritious meal which makes for a good lunch in the building. Slightly pricy but you get good quality food, and it’s especially worth it when you get the full set. Come slightly after 1230 for better chance at a seat.

4 deli meal set comes with 2 cold dish and 2 hot dish selections. And get dessert at 50% discount when you included into your meal set. Healthy meal with variety dish selections. Had a simple but good meal at Muji Raffles City.

Took a 3 Deli set and a dessert:
- Spinach Chicken Patty with Fennel Teriyaki Sauce and Orange Salsa
- Roasted Chicken Caesar Salad
- Orecchiette Pasta and Mushroom Salad in Truffle Ranch Dressing

and a Caramel Egg Pudding or Flan au Chocolat in French.

My wife had also had a 3 Deli set:
- Sakura Chicken with Curry Miso and Dried Chilli
- Kelp & Beancurd Skin with Hijiki & Black Fungus
- Prawn Couscous Salad with Yuzu-sesame Dressing

and a tasty Trio Chocolate Log

My first time in a Muji Café&Meal.

Muji cafe is probably my top-of-mind place when I don't want to think about what to eat. Simple, healthy, and delicious. Desserts/drinks are above average but not the best.
