Mount Pleasant Animal Medical Centre (Clementi)

I've always been to Mount pleasant for a long time and always had a pleasant experience.
It's the first time at the clementi branch as my girl had a cyst under her eyelid.
The experience at the Clementi branch surpassed my expectations and the staff there are so warm and friendly!
Dr Heng was nothing short of amazing. I fact, I don't know where she gets that bubbly energy from when she has back to back surgeries to perform.
There was a couple of negative reviews particularly on dogs that might be aggressive, IMHO, anyone even a vet will take further precautions if they are faced with aggression or even if there is a hint of it. If she is injured, a lot of surgeries will also have to be pushed back and furthermore, dogs anxiety will rise especially when it comes to inspection of the eye area. So it is natural for her to take precaution.
She was so warm and kind to my spitz. The operation went smoothly and when she needed to remove the suture, I told her that my girl might be aggressive during she removal, she even thanked me kindly for telling her and we put the muzzle on for her.
But my girl just froze and kept very still during the removal. She was so sweet to the fur kids and their pawrents.
Im really glad and thankful to have found her to perform the surgery for my girl! Now she's recovering well, thanks to Dr Heng!

been seeing Dr Heng with regards to my poodle’s cataract and she is the sweetest and most caring vet one can get. my poodle is always anxious because she does a lot of reviews for her eyes and skin, but Dr Heng is always so patient and gentle in handling her.

Many thanks to Doc Stacy who’s professional, calm and friendly. Nurses are friendly and nice. Everything is efficient and not much waiting time.

We’re not looking forward to visiting again (because visiting clinic = sick) but much thanks!

Dr Heng and her team takes wonderful care of my blind ginger cat. They are always very patient when handling him. Dr Heng also listens to our concerns and gives us advice on how to manage his medical condition. Recommended if your pet is suffering from optical issues.

I would like to thank this clinic for being so willing to accommodate my dog for a sudden visit. My dog had some nail bleeding issue during grooming and we were connected over by the groomer to the vet. The clinic was very kind to immediately accept our dog (Dubu) in for a check up and did not hesitate to attend to Dubu amidst their packed schedule. Any other clinic who would most likely have rejected us. The doctor and nurses were kind enough to explain ways to facilitate a faster healing process for our dog.

Very clean and beautiful environment! The staff are friendly. The vet that attended to my dog, Dr Ong Stacy, was very patient, kind and thorough. This is unlike other vets I’ve visited, where the doctors are usually in a rush and lack compassion in their service. Happy that I found a great vet nearby!

My only gripe would be that it’s a bit on the expensive side but given how Mount Pleasant is an established group, I expected the cost. I only want the best for my pet though so I’m fine with it!

My dog had loss of appetite and became restless. On the 2nd day I brought her to a vet in Ghim Moh but was turned down and ask to come back the next day pm because they were busy. I felt uneasy to wait till the next day and called Mt pleasant clementi. The nurse who pick up the phone asked about the dog condition and gave me the first appt that very evening. Grateful and thankful to have met Dr. Kent Soon. After his examination and investigation, my dog have to go into emergency surgery (life threatening). Honestly I am skeptical due to all the negative reviews i had read in this thread. But Dr. Kent Soon was very focus to address all my concerns and worries. We went ahead.
He called to update me close to midnight after the surgery ended. The next morning he also called me to update me on the dog progress.
Before I pick up my dog back home, Dr. Soon explained and shown me details what he had done. Post op care and even other preventive measures were all explained clearly.
My experience, although he may look young, he is full of compassionate, passion and of course not doubting his professionalism for his patients. Not forgetting the lady who pick up the call and his team who stayed up that night trying their best. Thank you very much.
Btw, while i was typing this. My dog did her first bark after the surgery. :)

Professional and friendly service! Doctor managed my cat gentle and effective for his yearly check up. Was helped at exact time of my appointment. Vet did not get me to buy a truck load of medicine that I don't want. Vet taught me how to monitor my own cat!! How to monitor my cat was also indicated on my receipt. Besides a hard copy the latter one was also emailed to me. Thank you!!

Waiting time was relatively short.
Dr. Heng diagnose my girl’s eyes and was given sufficient information on her condition. Very thankful and grateful to met this kind vet and we had a pleasant experience with her and the staff at MP.

I sent my dog to Mount Pleasant for sterilization. We didn't have to wait very long to get an appointment. The procedure lasts for a day, you bring your dog in in the morning and can pick him uo at the end of the day.

After the procedure, our dog started to urine blood which worried us. We called in to check and was scheduled a follow up appointment with Dr Vanessa who gave us some additional antibiotic. Our dog got better soon after and is now fully recovered.

Overall good service provided by the clinic. Recommended

I had a great experience today with the clinic. The doctors were very nice and caring, they managed to take urine test, ultrasound and some other procedures quite fast without any sedation or my help, which with my beagle is impressive! They gave me detailed explanation, reasonable treatment and next steps to follow. Last but not least they were very careful with social distancing and measurements.

dr heng is a top class caring vet. both my dogs w eye issue was resolved by her with great knowledge and experience w love and TLC. waiting time is efficient and productive…if your furries have eye issues look for dr heng!

My 14 year old had a eye ulcer which did not get better after visiting 3x at our regular vet. Was referred to Mt Pleasant to see the eye specialist instead. What I like about this place is with an appointment and they really stick to the time slot and see us timely. My dog eye ucler was cleared after 3 weeks of treatment with weekly review.

Thank you to Dr Leong Jann Yee, a very patient vet who will explain when in doubt and she does not rush through the consultation.

Vet and team was very nice and helpful. Super caring for your pets as well. Very meticulous. If they are not able to provide certain surgery over at their clinic, they will help you to source or call other clinic that is related to the pets situation. It's a place you can assure peace to let your pets be with them

I needed to have my cat spayed as she was in major heat during the circuit breaker and could meow up to 8 hours non stop. Everyone including neighbors got rlly stressed from the meowing so i rlly needed to get the surgery done. Dr leong was rlly nice and she called me during the consultation as we arent allowed to enter the facility after handing my cat over. She also called me aft the surgery to inform me on how my cat was doing which i greatly appreciated. Overall great experience and my cat is currently very stable. They were the only clinic tht didnt mind taking my cat eventhough im sure they were fully booked after the circuit breaker ended. Albeit a bit pricier and not the usual vet that i usually send my furbabies to but its definitely one i do trust😊

LOVE this place! I’ve sent all my cats here since the first one in 2017. Dr. Leong has always shown great care & affection for them. The rates may be higher than some vets out there but they can consider me a loyal customer.

We would like to specially thank Dr Leong, Dr Kent, Dr Vanessa, Denna and all the nurses. Or dog isn’t an easy dog to deal with. She is lucky to have awesome doctors and staff attending to her. After her pyometra operation done by Dr Leong, she has recovered really well and back to her usual self again. We are so happy!
