Brighton Vet Care (Bukit Timah)

It’s hard to find vets in Singapore that are familiar with working with hamsters and I’m glad to find out about Brighton from HSS!

The care is excellent from pre to post! Starting from booking the appointment - I’m super thankful for the staff. 🥹 Although they were fully booked for the day, they enquired about my hamster’s symptoms and gave me a call a few hours later to inform me that they managed to slot me in as my case was pretty urgent. During the consultation (have seen Dr Gwenda Lowe and Dr Toh Ming Hui on separate consults), the explanation was thorough and they exhibited genuine care and concern for my hams 🥹 The care continued post-consult as there were clinical summary with recommendations sent to my email, as well as follow-up calls to check on my ham’s condition 🥹🥹🥹

Highly recommend as your pets will be super well taken care of 🥰

Brought my hamster to see vet. Doctor Ming Hui was very helpful when dealing with my hamster. All the staffs working there are very helpful and kind. However, my hamster was not able to make it .. they even send a post card for me. I am very appreciative towards their help and support. Recommended :)

We’ve had many great experiences with Dr Lee Yan Hui at Brighton Katong. She has attended to Bella for various health issues and has always given us a comprehensive comparisons of treatment options, along with her medical opinion. Not only is she knowledgeable and highly skilled at her job, but her genuine love and care for animals is evident in all of our visits.

Brought my son’s hammie to see the vet here as she was having laboured breathing and an eye infection. 1st visit- Dr Wong and nurse were extremely gentle and caring to our hammie. 2nd visit - Dr Toh and nurse were equally professional and caring. You can tell when a vet is genuinely concerned about the animals under her care. We’ve been to other vets and the service here is topnotch in comparison. Definitely recommend the vets here if you have small pets i.e hamsters. Post care is also commendable and professionally done with a follow up call and email sent with detailed diagnosis and steps to be taken. Thank you! 👍🏻👍🏻

I took my baby there and we saw Dr. Ming En who is one of the sweetest and kindest vet I've ever met. I appreciate her effort to support me and Daisy all the way even after Daisy had passed & crossed the rainbow bridge. They will call if not they'll message you to check on your baby after they've tended to you and the quality of their service is great. I was recommended to visit Brighton by an avid hamster lover.

If your baby is sick and you can afford the cost financially to take them to a vet, please do so before it's too late. 😔

Pawrents, do realise that vets are equipped with field experience and medical knowledge and can perform surgeries but not miracles.

Please don't hesitate to take your baby to a doc instead of consulting ppl in a forum if you feel that it's a medical emergency.

Excellent Vet Care IMHO. The staffs are caring, the attending vet (Dr Wong) for our Syrian Hamster is very knowledgeable and clear with the options and her opinion. They show genuine care to the animals.

There are also constant follow-ups from the clinic post visit/treatment.

I have a hamster, so finding a knowledgeable exotic vet in sg is already hard enough, let alone finding a good one. My experience here was amazing and everyone (from the receptionist to my vet) was professional and gave great recommendations. Was given 3 options to treat my hamster and not once was the most expensive option (surgery) pushed to me, which is quite a common occurrence in vet clinics. all the risks and benefits were also clearly explained to me so I could make the most informed decision for my hammy :)

Have been going to Brighton for the past 3 years after a friend's recommendation. Would say that these vets truly care for their patients and owners alike, always offering their best in care and ensuring that owners are well educated on how to provide the best care to their pets. Their post consult note is a great added touch to their already excellent service and professionalism.

Would recommend Brighton. They're consistent and prices are reasonable too!

The vets here are exceptionally caring and knowledgeable. The place is clean and well-lit. The staff will also call to check in on the health of your pet if they require a review visit. The price is also reasonable.

In short, I really love Brighton and the vets here, especially Dr Jessica. My rescue hamsters thank all of you!

5-star overall! This is my first visit to Brighton, moving from our previous vet at Ghim Moh. I really feel that Brighton Bukit Timah is top notch, vet was so patient in going through my cat’s blood test report with me, and followed up with email. My cat scratched the technician, I was deeply apologetic, but technician was so understanding. This is the vet I will keep moving forward

My hamster Pudding was a long term patient at Brighton Vet for a persistent eye problem but later she developed cancer suddenly and crossed the rainbow bridge. They were very professional and gentle in treating Pudding. They always call a few days after the consultation to check on Pudding condition. When they learnt about Pudding passing, they sent a card to us - which was a very nice gesture and of course, a surprise to us. Very caring team of vets and care assistants.

An extremely friendly and lovely team of healthcare professionals for our fur friends. My pups see Dr Wong who is a wonderful vet. She is very knowledgeable, skillful and thorough with her checks. Brighton has an outstanding team of vet techs and nurses too, who are pleasant, gentle and kind, not to mention proficient.

I chanced upon them by recommendation and am amazed by their sincere and efficient service.

From the moment you step into their premises, you are greeted with their vet techs and nurses which are aware of your pet's case. They will prepare your pet with the necessary tests etc before you meet the vet so the whole process is efficient.

Even after the consult, I am provided with the Dr's notes which I can refer to and keep for reference. After a few days, the team actually calls to check if my pups are doing well. Brighton really provides outstanding services.

Something I really appreciate from Brighton is their insightful and prompt service. Whenever I am in doubt, I feel assured that they will provide me with the proper help I need, either through a phone call or a consultation.

Their sweet gesture of a call and simple card (totally unexpected) and comforting words after the passing of my pet hamster, Pudding, brought so much comfort and closure. First time at Brighton after switching from a previous vet. Two hours were spent on procedures and consultation for my dog with ringworm. During the consult every aspect of my my dog's health was discussed and the vet, who was extremely knowledgeable, explained everything thoroughly and patiently. The vet technicians were also extremely friendly and professional. They said they will follow up with an email summary of our consultation and via phone in a week. I really think this will be my dog's vet going forward. I don't think any other vet will offer thing kind of service and care.

Great vets and vet techs who are caring and lovely. My dog nino had a great and stress free time there.

Review update: Thanks to Brighton, they managed to pick up that my pup had signs of early kidney disease. There has been some miscommunication but they have rectified such misunderstandings with honesty and respect, and responded to anxious situations with empathy.

I have always been happy with the vet services at Brighton Vet Care. They are professional and caring and I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Dr Toh provided great care for my cat. Thanks to the front desk for finding me a slot at the last minute too. The team showed genuine concern and provided great post-visit followup and care as well

Came for a check-up + vaccination. Dr Jessica Kuek is super gentle and experienced, and very patient in explaining and clarifying my doubts! The staff was attentive as well and called to check up on my cat's condition the next day.
