Bukit Tengkorak. A place to see and hike. You can visit the museum and hike the hill before 5 pm. No ticket is required.

Visited on a Sunday morning. The hike from the start to the top of the hill is about 599steps and can be completed in 30-45 minutes. The view is spectacular and worth the climb. Many shelters and seat along the trail and hence allow for rest and picnic. Highly recommended! The museum is free entry and have very clear illustration on the ancient modern men found on the hill.

Great little museum and hike, a good alternative if you want to do something non water-related here in Semporna. I'm told the monkeys are more active in the evening. I was here at 9am and didn't see any. careful that service can be spotty if you want to get a Grab but the nice guy who works here allowed me to hot spot and after that getting a grab wasn't a problem.

Went hiking up the hill, but did not manage to visit the museum. The hike is well worth it, beautiful views at the end, walking up wooden stairs and relatively well maintained paths. It’s not terribly difficult to reach the top, but one should be relatively physically fit to do so. Also if you’re coming here via ride hailing, remember to take down the number of the driver, or pre-arrange your transportation back into town as you’ll be hard pressed to get any form of transportation to return.

Watch out for wild animals (snakes, monkeys are not that friendly, not recommended for solo hiking🙈) free entrance. Must wear comfortable hiking attire (you will have to hike up 300m)

May not be that far. Wss told it was 300m distance. But it was a steep climb. All in all. Nice view from the top. Free entry

We didn't climb the hill as we're bringing my mom and my daughter. Maybe next time.

I hike there once and the view is breathtaking.

But when you go there and you didnt want to climb the hill, you can visit the museum. You can read about all the history about the hill.

Good for hiking.... Beautiful view. Come in dry season... Bring your own drinks water

Great place to enjoy scenery while you can exercise. Over 600 over steps to the top. Took around 20min. Got pitstop along the way.

Great little spot outside of Semporna. Well maintained small museum talking about the history of the pottery there. Our self appointed guide was super nice and took us the whole way up, not even expecting money for his troubles. The views were incredible and there were tons of monkeys around causing trouble and getting into trouble. Really nice place to get out of town and spend a few hours.

Very recommended... The view is so nice... Place is so beautiful.. No need guide or anything juz follow the stairs.. Its free, no need entrance fee.. Juz write ur name for their record

Very beautiful view from the peak. Multiple rest stages, steps all the way. Some parts are slippery if it is raining.

Natural lover must go, amazing natural views.
