Seri Mutiara Restaurant

This restaurant is open to everyone, not just guests from the resort. I paid the 1 RM to cross the river and enjoy nice ambiance without paying resort prices for accommodations.

Onto the food, I tried the samosas, the mee mamak noodles, and the chicken sandwich with fries. Every item I ordered was delicious. The portions were generous. If you don’t want to pay so much for food, there are other restaurants across the river, but I enjoyed both meals I had here.

I spent between $7-$12 USD per meal and they accept VISA.

Much better than the average rating implies. We have been on this side of the river for a few days and especially the dinner is more than OK.. Try preferably the local cuisine, like rendang or satay. They know the Malaysian kitchen well!!

Based on our limited experience (we only ate here once), reviews definitely don't do justice to this place. All 4 dishes we ate here were excellent (though pricey). The catfish tempoyak (with fermented durian) was possibly the best Malay dish we ever tasted. AND we saw a flying lemur on one of the restautant's palm trees. Best dinner ever.

Food here was really good and not too pricey; the Nasi Goring dish was the best I had in Malaysia.

Had only smoothies here. Very good taste, but a bit pricy (15RM each), but because of the location is fully understandable.

We only had à la carte so I can’t comment on the buffet. Several vegetarian options which was nice! We had a vegetarian curry and an okra dish and both were very tasty.

Obviously, you won’t find the same type of variety as you would when dining in a big city and I think reviews should be done considering the surroundings.

To anyone ordering a pizza in the Malaysian rainforest and being mad that it doesn’t taste the same as in Napoli - turn your brain on.

After the visit to the park we landed on this place and it was a delight. Fresh drinks and coolness.

Really nice restaurant, the food is fantastic! The place is nice to sit and enjoy the rain forest surroundings. The place has good variety of food and drinks for all. The staff is very nice and friendly. Albeit, all this comes at a high price compared to anywhere else, the only reason I did not give 5 stars.

Wij hebben hier gisteren gegeten. Het eten was prima. De rendang was erg lekker. De pizza kan beter, maar is een gemiddelde pizza die we in Azië krijgen. De service was wel erg traag en we moesten zelf de aandacht vragen iedere keer. Je kunt er wel een biertje krijgen en als enige betalen met kaart. Al met al prima restaurant.

Essen gut, coole Location am Eingang zum NP. Affen auf den Palmen vor dem Restaurant trotz Regen :). Nette Drinks, gute Bedienung.

Alright food, but generally a bit bland. The buffet is overpriced and so are the drinks, although they were refreshing and nice. The service was also a bit slow and they forgot one of our orders. Would recommend crossing the river for the other floating restaurants instead!

Trying my first buffet here. The food is okay but don't have a variety of food. Only got 3 main dishes. Is it worth the money? For me, no.

Very, very slow service and average quality of food. Cold beer wine and cocktail available.
