Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa, Langkawi

I’ve stayed here last month for our holiday. We really needed a get away and healing sites, this hotel did exactly that! The beach is clean and beautiful especially during tie dye you can have much more fun there as u can go find some big clams to feast on them later on. During the night the beach is very quiet, perfect for night beach walks for couples! The staffs was so nice to us! Always smiling and greet us with gratitude which makes us feel more welcomed there.
Our room is clean and calming with beach waves sounds located at the sea view site. Although there’s renovation on the other pool but it didn't bother us at all plus the staff did informed us during checkin about the renovation. So far, I have no issues with this hotel resort 5/5, we enjoyed and satisfied with every single day of our stay here for sure will come back again when we need more get aways!

A beautiful and truly complete beach side resort at the most popular strip in Langkawi. With multiple eateries, door to door service and facilities such as pool, gym, spa etc this is hands down one of the best resorts in the Langkawi island. The rooms although old, are refreshed with a modern touch. Also, within walking distance there is shopping as well as f&b outlets. Super strategic. To those who can afford it's hefty price tag, this would be the ideal 5 star accomodations.

It's an absolutely gorgeous hotel at the beach. They have two breakfast,.one American spread and one Asian. American is amazing!
The room is big and ha sa sea view. Sand at the beach is so soft and loved the quietness of this place.

Pool is absolutely incredible.
Scope of improvement could be Reception team...they are not friendly at all. And check in took very long although we reached at 6 pm.

So, me, my elderly mom, and my two kiddos decided to check out this resort for a quick 2-day, 1-night getaway. Gotta say, I was seriously impressed with the way they run things there. Even my mom was raving about how awesome the service was and how friendly everyone was - from the folks at the front desk to the ones working behind the scenes.

This place is totally geared towards families. They've got these buggy rides to get around, which was a lifesaver for my mom, and the kids were stoked about the pool and being steps away from the beach. Plus, there were plenty of lounge chairs for chilling out, and the whole vibe was super chill.

I was a bit worried that the rooms might be a bit dated, but I was wrong! Everything looked brand spanking new. The bathroom was massive and had all the stuff you'd need, the bed was comfy, and the AC was powerful enough for the hot weather.

Honestly, this ranks up there as one of the best places I've ever stayed. Big shoutout to Sabrina and Chong at the front desk - they were total lifesavers and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. And the staff at the Kids Club, they were a blast and clearly love what they do.

Can't really find much to gripe about here - everything was just awesome! Only regret is that we only stayed for one night. This resort is definitely worth staying if you're ever in Langkawi.

We're in a garden terrace room which is great. Big room with balcony and massive bathroom. Very clean with a small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Easy to walk to town but it's too hot so can catch a taxi instead.

Indeed, a great resort at a good spot. Love the traditional style design on the exterior and modern interior design. Booked a garden view but was lucky enough to get partial garden and lake view. Staff are very well spoken and the service once reach there was 10:10. Food was great as well. Just a perfect paradise to relax your mind & soul. Lastly, worth every penny & looking forward to come again.

What an amazing hotel !! We had a stunning first floor room with a view of the sandy beach .
All the staff were incredibly friendly and efficient.
We didn't eat dinner in the hotel but the food at breakfast was good.
It's only a short walk to the local shops and a good selection of restaurants so it's very well situated.
We always felt safe walking about at nighttime either on the street or the beach .
We would definitely stay there again .

The staff's exceptional helpfulness was evident from the start, going above and beyond by assisting in arranging a surprise dinner for my loved ones. Their commitment to guest satisfaction made our stay truly special. Despite the minor breakfast issue due to limited choice, we are looking forward to returning for another visit.

I can't thank the staff at Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa Langkawi enough, they go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The location is convenient and the rooms are spacious and clean. It is evident that employees are experienced professionals with excellent manners.

We loved our stay here, service was good. We stayed by the beach, so it was convenient for us to enjoy views of the sunset. Breakfast was fulfilling. If you just want to have a well-rested holiday, langkawi is good for this.

A highlight of our experience was the guided walk led by Mr. Selva. If our schedule had permitted, we would have attended the nature walk with him the next day. We highly recommend this resort's nature walk to anyone who wishes to stay here. It offered us a deeper appreciation for nature and the abundance of our Nusantaran islands, showcasing the richness of plant life and the medicinal properties of natural foods.

This resort is kids friendly, they have a decent pool for kids to swim in too.

The Thursday night market is approximately a 15-minute walk from the resort. The route takes you through rows of hostels, motels, and a handful of residential houses. It's advisable to arrive around 6 pm, as the food stalls tend to sell out by 9 pm. If you plan to walk back after dark, it's wise to bring a torchlight for added visibility. It's not overly scary since there are also other tourists walking around.

It's a very relaxing hotel and it was great to be there after almost 3 weeks walking in big cities, like Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. We could enjoy the swimming pool and relax a lot, it has a very familiar environment, so my 10 years old daughter could make friends and have fun, all the staff is very kind, just the beach was not exactly what we were expecting for, but the whole experience inside the hotel was good. I highly recommend it in Langkawi.

I can't put my experience in words. My wife and I had a once in a lifetime experience.

The resort itself is built beautifully with a private beach on the north side of pantai cenang. We booked a beach view room and it was fabulous. Waking up with the view of sunrise or having dinner and breakfast by the beach was all a really good experience, giving us the true vacation vibe.

But that's not the reason why i am giving 5 stars.
At night we planned to have a quick dip in the water under the moon, as the beach got so calm and not a single person was around. Making you feel like you owned the beach. But once we got into the waters, My God,,, the whole water around us started radiating blue light..Bioluminence.. we couldn't believe our eyes.. our happiness had no limits..I mean when you and your wife are all alone under the full moon sky with Bioluminence happening all around you...

That's the reason I said I can't put my experience in words..it's gonna be in our precious memories till death.

Beautiful place, timeless hotel, walk onto beach, close to food strip and central to water sports. 15 minutes for the airport and 20 mins from Oriental village (Sky Cab and Bridge). Very polite staff and room services are great.

Service was great - everyone was very friendly and helpful from front desk to buggy drivers to housekeeping. Love the pool and the kids play section. Only thing that isn't the best is the access to the beach, depending on which part of the resort you end up in, and the fact that it is a pretty public beach. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing place to relax! Close enough to get everywhere, far enough from the airport that it isn't a concern and also far enough from the tourist hot spots to get peace and quiet. The staff are all genuinely lovely!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pelangi Beach Resort in Langkawi, and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the warm and friendly staff made me feel welcome.

The resort's location is breathtaking, with pristine beaches just steps away and lush greenery surrounding the property. The new interior and beautiful architecture add to the overall charm.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the island. The amenities exceeded my expectations – from the inviting pool area to the variety of dining options, including delicious local cuisine.

What stood out the most, however, was the exceptional service. The staff members (especially Nor) were attentive, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their genuine hospitality added a personal touch to my stay.

Recently renovated. Great open designed neat lobby and very well staffed. Polite and helpful. Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Good size and adequate amenities. Buggy service for transportation. Very convenient. Food at restaurant tasty. Overall it was a good holiday venue.

What an experience! I spent a month in Malaysia and my last 3 nights were at the beautiful Pelangi Beach Resort. From the cleanliness to the top notch service, the delicious breakfast and dinner buffets to the bathtubs in the bathrooms, the comfortable beds to the gorgeous location surrounded by trees—all of it was fantastic.

I loved walking around and wandering, the resort feels like it's own little village. The energy is so soothing and grounding.

My only recommendation would be to take their sustainability and eco-friendliness a step further, for example, use reusable glass water bottles instead of single-use plastic bottles.

One of the most wonderful hotels in Malaysia in general. A wonderful reception. Delivery to your door. A clean place. A beautiful swimming pool. European, Asian, and Arabic food. A wonderful view. A wonderful place to relax. The gym is clean and has modern equipment. There are many activities inside the resort that will make you not leave it.

Decided to stay here after seeing a friend’s post on SocMed just how big the place was. Well, it certainly did not disappoint, or rather I would say - exceeded my expectation!
The private beach is sandy white, the whole resort is clean, filled with lots of sun beds, the area is so huge, and serene to walk all around. There are two pools, and two restaurants that you can walk into for breakfast! There is even a mini petting farm for kids activities, and even though I am not a kid, I enjoy seeing the farm animals and making friends with them. The sight of the sea is just perfect, especially infront of Pelangi Grill. I needed some getaway healing time and this place did just that for me.
The staffs were all very friendly and well trained and I truly enjoy their hospitality.
Overall I enjoyed my stay very much and would love to be back again.
