Old Tower Cafe

A bit packed as there were many patrons! The tables and chairs were almost full, lucky to have a table which was cool and airy. The food was delicious, living up to the Panang standard. The duck egg char koay teow was delicious and recommendable.

Nice place, nice food

I went to the Old Tower Cafe to eat specifically the beef koay teow. I was not disappointed. Aa a Penangite, I can emphatically declare that the beef koay teow there was the best I have eaten in the whole of Penang. The portion is adequate for a hungry adult with a generous amount of ingredients. The broth tastes so sweet and contains the least amount of MSG in beef koay teow that I have consumed in Penang. I have recommended this beef koay teow to many of my colleagues and friends.

Anyway, this is one of the preferred place to have lunch at Jawi.
They have lots of food choices around here and I personally recommend for the Thai fried rice.

A good and spacious food court where there is a good variety of local food to enjoy with and ample parking space to park your car and enjoy the delicious food.

Fantastic! Good food at extremely affordable prices! The iced coffee (kopi peng) is very thick and tasteful. I highly recommend this place.

Best Chinese food in simpang ampat especially the beef kuew tiaw soup
