This nondescript shop with its average looking stalls wouldn't warrant a second glance usually. But that's where you would be grossly wrong. The term don't judge a book by its cover cannot be overly understated here. The chai kuih is superb. The skin is beautifully made. The filling is deliciously cooked. And the price is incredibly fair. To be honest, that's the perfect trifecta for the chai kuih. Believe me, if you are in this area, do yourself a favor and drop in. And then thank me for introducing you to this chai kuih stall.

RM1/pcs, consider very big size compare to others, but the taste a bit flat. They have 3 flavours, chinese turnips (bangkuang), chives (kuchai) and yam. For this stall, yam is the best, full of flavor. Chives one is not bad too, has a lot of dried shrimps, and chinese turnips is a bit tasteless.

The skin is nicely done, and the filling is very compact. Can be easily picked up using chopstick, not like others the skin will break and the filling will drops and create a mess.

Both the Cai Kuih and Ku Cai Kuih taste good. The skin is rather thin and pretty hard to pick it up with chopstick without breaking it. The turnip and chive r very flavourful and goes well with d chilli sauces.

Very good cai kuih. I bumped into this stall after trying few famous cai kuih in JAWI. Without any expectation, i found out that cai kuih in this stall full of flavour and skin was nicely done. RM1 per pcs. Among the 3 flavours, I like its yum version. Quite a surprise that yum can bring out the best of cai kuih to the highest. Other stalls have the fame but this stall have the taste that I longing for

Interm of Cai Kuih this is one of best near Sungai Bakap area. The ingredients are full with ku cai with dry shrims..
