A low key seafood eatery, with fresh ingredients.
Skeptical at first to follow the owner recommendations ☺
Tried the Grouper Claypot (this is the favourite!) also the fried solefish with sauce, shrimp with asam jawa. Amazinf seafood! Will surely come back again

Plenty of good variety of dishes and cooking styles, serving only the fresh seafood. 🤤delicious. Need to order from the front open kitchen just ask them to recommend their signature dishes if you unable to decide.

The food here is delicious! Claypot fish, octopus and fried shrimp is a must. Service is good too. The fish can be expensive so be sure you know the price of the fish per kg before ordering it. Our fish in the end costs around rm200 for 1.5 kg of fish. I would def come again for the food. Great place.

Although it was our first time there and we clearly looked liked out of town tourists, we were warmly welcomed and the gentleman (looked like the boss) patiently explained his food recommendations after understanding what liked to eat 👏. Not pushy. 👍
The boss recommendations of the crab, prawns, eggplant, grilled and steamed fish were spot on. All 5 stars, nothing to "but".
Price very reasonable too.

Everything was good! Good seafood restaurant. Will come back to try their grilled fish. Only 2 of us and we ordered 6 dishes, we were stuffed haha!

Come early because will packed at night. Food soooo sedap. Very2 tasty. Love it. Love the lala kam heong. Spicy and tasty wow!!!! The food portion not so big for 2 person so we not wasting our food. Keep a good work Chefs!!! Never seen so many chef here 🤭🤭 the best of the best!!! Come again n again n again. Still the best !!!

Love all the tze tzar at Ah Chui Seafood, all seafood very fresh and price reasonable, my families favourite place to eat when visit penang, owner is also friendly and good. Please visit this food place when you have chance visit Penang.

I am from SG. And if you want fresh Penang fish, this is the best place I know. I have tried a few other "recommended" seafood restaurants. The ambience might be better (e.g. by the sea) but the fish doesn't taste as fresh and prices are higher. Ah Chui fish is very fresh and price is very reasonable. If you are looking for fresh Penang fish direct from sea, look no further. Highly recommend.

The rest I would give 5 🌟.
You have to take their sambal (not too spicy and with a little bit of lemon or lime) taste so good. Sorry that forget to take the before eat, I was too hungry and the dishes looked evil 😈.

This is an amazing seafood place. Brings back all the great flavors of how it should be cooked and did I mentioned that the seafood were really fresh as well….well done chef… service was fantastic… I will definitely bring my friends and family again. Very local ambiance basic setup, food is out of this world, reasonably priced.

One of the restaurants popular among the locals for their seafood (Crab, Grill Fish, Fish Soup, Squid). Highly recommend their fish soup which you cant get to taste the unique broth elsewhere. The staffs are friendly and service is fast.

Never fail to dine at ah chui every year when my fam travels to Penang! A restaurant that all of us love & never complain for another visit 😁

This shop is operated by family members and has been run long time. Tastes are traditional and fusion such as Thai, Hong Kong and Singapore. In general prices and services are reasonable,

This was some of the best food I've ever had. Everything was fresh and so delicious, I honestly didn't know Chinese food could taste like this. I was a tourist and was taken here by a friend who is local, or else I never would have found this location. I'm so glad I did, one of my favorite experiences of my trip.

A seafood restaurant where you can select your seafood on the spot that will be handed over to the chef later. They are fresh and will be cooked right after the selection is done. Famous dishes include grill fish (many selections such as stingray, grouper, etc) and vegetables such as lady fingers. These are must try! There are plenty of free parkings around. The restaurant open until 10pm.
