Monkey Cup Garden (Taman pokok peria kera/கெண்டி பூங்கா)

It’s a Cafe on top of a mountain in the middle of the Jungle with breathtaking views… Absolutely epic.
They had good Chinese Pu Er Tea. They have their own blend of coffee that they bring to your table in moka pot. Their cakes and sandwiches were surprisingly good. Also we saw actual monkeys and got to hold a Scorpion

Lovely cafe on Penang Hill. You can take a buggy ride which will cost you RM30 + RM15 per buggy which you can share or not. RM30 is usually for 1 trip up and down. RM 15 is for the trip down from cafe or you can choose to walk down. Hiking up to the cafe will take probably an hour if you're fit.

The coffee served here is made with moka and is not your espresso type. The cheese cake here is good. So good, it's even better than some cafes in Kuala Lumpur. The cheese cake melts in your mouth and goes very well with the coffee. Cheese cakes is a must try.

Nice sitting environment with round tables for 3-5 people or couple tables. They're low sitting chairs. You will be shaded by trees away from the heat and is pretty tranquil.

There are no toilets here. So, I'd suggest you let go at the station before visiting the cafe.

I was shocked to see a Moka, the coffee maker that we all use in our homes in Italy, here in the middle of the malaysian jungle. The coffee was not too bad, but that is not the point in my opinion. The point is to be able to relax underneath the jungle trees, to breath fresh air and to enjoy nature. In this cafe you do all that, while tasting decent coffee, a very nice burnt cheesecake, and a decent club sandwich.

Wow! What incredible cheesecake and tea. Perfect end for a hike up the mountain. After a hike also means you can eat more cake! Favorite of the group was passion fruit raspberry cheesecake!

Cool and nice atmosphere for relaxing.

I was expecting a tourist trap but it had actually decent coffee, really good sandwich and awesome atmosphere 👌 Prices are also good (14 RM for coffee for two, 10 RM for sandwich). Definitely recommend.

Having a cup of coffee and enjoying nice and cozy cafe view, what can you ask more 😁. You can ride 4x4 from Astaka to the cafe for free if you did some purchased at the cafe

The surroundings are quite lovely. a Penang Hill internet celebrity boutique. Toast sandwiches and coffee go together extremely well. The only thing that be annoying is the fact that food attracts bugs and when at nature no way to avoid this.
