I am surprised the guard asked me to remove my cap before enter the bank premise. This is privacy invasion and ridiculous rule. Bank manager should give more respect to customer as wearing cap is not like wearing helmet.

Help me to withdraw the wrong FD and caused me withdraw by deducting the interest.. and my expired FD still remain there? what kind of terrible mistake is this?! And Very slow.. purposely take half day leave to sit here waiting 3 .5hours just for queuing to counter, after waiting this counter and than do half way and pass customer to wait again for another counter… and not sure if system issue or what, after 1 hour waiting and ask the receptionist why number starting “1” did not move at all after one hour, then only they roll the number again… also, 10 frontline counter only 4-5 is working…
Also, the customer services counter even worse, takes up to 45minutes -1hour to serve one customer,,, can’t imagine if there are more than 20 customers queuing per counter … or i need to ask the elder to bring sleeping bag to overnight here to be the first one enter this UOB branch next time,,, otherwise will be like jbt imegrasen, took almost half day here to pass from one counter to another counter by re-queuing every time pass to another counter..I believe whatever reason might be the banker too busy or what so ever, but UOB HQ pls kindly improve the system and staff training and teach time management to ensure efficiency on their daily task, if lack of employees, kindly offer better salary package to hire more ppl to ensure customers low waiting time for the branch

Worst bank and branch, ever.
I went to the nearest UOB branch for activation, however the staff told me to wait for a call from UOB. All I can do is wait.
As previously stated, no one called me, and when I contacted customer service, they advised me to visit the nearest branch.
Continue getting passed from one department to another.

service too bab, they didn't provide special counter for the account holder customer for the CNY new notes changing, have to wait more than 2 hours even the new money changing just took for few minutes.

Very Very ver bad. Only one person serving at front desk. And one customer can take up to 45 minutes. Just imagine there were 20 peoples queuing up to wait for the poor girl to serve 😕

Edit: Downgraded from 5 to 1 star due to they change in their terms. Forgot my password but couldn't change it online, had to change it in person at the bank ATM. No more e-statement, asked the bank staff, they said I need to apply for a debit card account for the e-statement, mailed me a paper statement but also charged me RM2 for ONE paper statement!

The worst bank and service ever, they are really stupid and low efficiency, just want to change a new phone number I have to go to the branch more than 3 times! First time gave me the wrong form, 2nd form correct, lost form; 3rd time form submitted but in the end no any updates after one week.

Told them I wanted to change my company account phone number more than 3 times but still changed the wrong account, their brain is like kindergarten.

Email no response, Facebook no response, call no response, just a minor stuff need to visit the branch and gave me such a lousy service, wasting my time

Edit: Reduced from 3 star to 1 star because the display for the queue number is not visible by client sitting down waiting for their turn. Bell rings, everyone will guess their turn or stand up, take a step in front and then turn left 60 degrees to see the display. How about using some initiative and a bit of brain power and move it behind the wall behind counter 11 and 12? Zero common sense? Management, staff..etc does not notice client standing up and sitting down looking at the display? Sigh....

Also the main counter at the entrance is used as a processing area also with 3 staff, so there's customers standing the crowding around waiting for their service to be processed. So it is really very crowded.

I want to amend my address so my UOB credit card can be sent out to me.

1. Well-made online banking system always show "under maintenance" or "error"
2. Go to the branch and it's so unorganized and poorly managed, people cutting queue and bankers prefer to serve them first.

Wait there for long and the finally met the banker and she give me another number and wait for another banker???

Have been a Citibank customer for past 20+ years. Unfortunately, I dreaded the Citibank sales to UOB. After the migration in July 2023, I cannot get to anyone in customer service. All the lines are automated phone banking only. Really bad customer service lines. Unable to chat with customer service online. Very inconvenient. You can only send e-mail or go to the branch. At the branch, the service counter is disorganized, unlike Public Bank. No numbers provided, free for all like 'pasar malam'. Anything online, is non-existent. In this IT world, this bank is offline. I will be going away soon. Please don't put your money here.
