La Belle Vie Restaurant and Bar

Probably the best French restaurant in town. Food and service definitely deserve 5 stars. We had our anniversary there. Every dish we ordered were just superb. That is totally more than expectation. Food standard is high, and the staffs are very friendly and polite.The price is also very reasonable. This will be my all time favorite. Will come again!

This place is awesome. We were warmly greeted by restaurant manager, Sham. He took time to explain the menu and recommended a cocktail for my girlfriend, which she liked a lot.

On top of the service and atmosphere, the food was suberb. The rack of lamb was tender and juicy, and the Iberico pork collar is a must-try!

Visited on a Sunday for dinner. Arrived early at 5.30pm before dinner crowd would come. A pleasant lady, Shereen, whom we thought was the maitre'D, came to introduce the menu. She gave a good explanation on the offerings.
It turns out that the soft spoken lady is actually the owner! She also owns the other famous French restaurant in town, Chez Papa. Both were started by her together with her late husband, Dom Muller, a French chef from Alsace region of France.
We decided on the premium grain-fed sirloin steak, with pepper cream sauce. The steak was prepared to perfection. We also had the breaded pork loin with bacon and spaghetti. The special of the day, calamari stuffed with zucchini mash served with wild rice, was certainly special. For dessert we had creme brule. The generous owner presented us with a complimentary orange cake, made without flour but almond powder. Superb. All in all, the meal was great, and the service and ambience was fantastic. We will surely be back for another good time.

My second time here, love the food and service, deserves 6 stars! Every single dish is delicious from appetizer to dessert, and the dessert was on the house!🥰 will definitely come back again.

Already visited 4 times, food are sooo good, each dish always brought us some surprises.

Today we tried the new dish - Live Irish Oyster, it was fresh, delicious and the price is very fair!

We also tried Irish Duck Breast and slow roasted US porkRib Pork, both of the main courses are fantastic!

Firstly, I would like to give major props to the maître d' and service staff here. They were extremely attentive and it is clear they are well taken care of by the management of this restaurant from the level of dedication they display and the top-tier service myself and my dining partner received. Despite a couple of rowdy kids running around knocking things over, they remained patient and served with smiles!

It is obvious they really care about the food they put out here from the rotating menu (which the maître d' takes time to really explain) as well as the quality of the ingredients - I got their steak au vin rouge and had the best damn carrots of my entire life (apparently cooked in orange juice? would love the recipe) with it. That first bite of carrot literally sent me into another dimension… so tender and sweet. The sear and crust on the steak was DIVINE, wonderful red wine sauce and perfect doneness of medium as requested. Dining partner had one of the plats du jour - shepherd’s pie, and had nothing but good things to say as well. If there is one thing this place should do, hold on to your chefs and service staff FOREVER.

Ambience is perfect - nothing fancy, jazzed up or pretentious, just felt like a homely, cozy family restaurant simply wanting to share the joys of great food. Only feedback would be the fans in the restaurant along with the AC seem rather redundant, and my food went cold a little faster than I would have liked. Other than that, this was an amazing dining experience all around and I’m definitely coming back and bringing more friends around too. 100000/10.

Definitely one of the best Western restaurants JB can have. The menu is very authentic and I enjoyed the french onion soup and Baked Brie very much. Truffle fries are crispy and emit faint smell of truffle which i like (not too overwhelmed). I thought the carbonara was a bit overly thick and cheesy but the steak were good. The restaurant provided a complimentary slice of brownies to celebrate birthday. Staff were attentive and service was great. The restaurant boosted a huge variety of wine selection.

The price is very expensive for the food. But if you consider the quality, atmosphere and service, it is worthwhile. We are a group of 5 adults and 2 kids, we spent RM700+.

Absolutely captivated by this French restaurant near to my house. The cuisine is delightful and the hospitality particularly with Mr. Sham is outstanding. I'll certainly be returning!

visited Chez Papa at Pelangi few times and just get to know that La Belle Vie is under the same management when contacted Shereen to ma reservation to celebrate friend’s birthday on Sunday (09/07).

Food is awesome and wide range of beverages for you to choose. Their excellent customer service is absolutely outstanding, Shereen and her attentive staff will consistently check and make sure the guests are happy during the meal and making dining at their place feels like home. Great ambiance!

We ordered Four Cheese Pizza, Spaghetti Carbonara, Escalopes de Porc, Poulet Cordon Bleu, Escargots de Bourgogne & fresh oysters with Rm290 only.

Amazing food and great service. Was here for a birthday celebration and prearranged it with the staff via email and when we got there the staff presented a nice brownie cake and sang a birthday song for my partner. Highly recommend!

Thanks again for making our first visit so memorable. All the staff and also the owner, Shereen were such amazing people. Food was delicious and wine selection was great. My parents are already talking about coming back, and we sure will!

We ordered 2 steaks, pizza, a few appetisers. After so many years, I can say that the standard is still very satisfactory! We enjoyed our dinner there!

Finally caught their shepherd’s pie 🥧 on this visit. It makes a rare appearance only 1-2 times a month, call ahead to check if you’re a fan of their pies and baked mains. Garden shroom soup a fav as always. Their baked fillet was a revelation too. Savoury paired with fruitier garnishing 🐟

It was a wonderful experience dining in this boutique restaurant. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Great Menu and abundant of choices. Will definitely visit again.

Everything is awesome here. My favourite French bar and their service tip top and my favourite staff Mr.Sham I knew him as waiter now promoted as manager. Their escargot and nachos my favourite but unfortunately the management remove the nachos yet I still love the vibe here
