The perfect getaway to properly relax and switch off, with the most perfect beach to sit and enjoy the incredible views.

The water is crystal clear and there is plenty of marine life to see when snorkelling, of which all equipment is provided. They have kayaks, paddle boards , volleyball nets etc, so you can stay active when you need to burn off some energy or entertain the kids!

The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the food is fantastic.

If you want a little slice of heaven by yourself, with the other half, with family or friends, this ticks all the boxes. Highly recommend.

Alang’s Rawa absolutely the best place to skip the reality of life. I’ve been here for two days with my 2 friends. We were lucky it was not a busy season & there wasn’t too many guests at that time. I booked for Jungle side room but the resort upgrade it to beach front for free upon our arrival.
Their teams were very attentive & friendly. Once arrived, We were briefed by their staff named Sheena & she was very nice and very helpful.
We enjoyed snorkelling, beach swimming, cave exploration, kayaking, hilltop hiking, water sliding & island hoping (with extra charge).

The room was clean, spacious & spotless. The pillows & bed were very comfy. There wasn’t any trouble during our stay in this resort. Don’t expect the tap water to be as clean as in your house since you’re in island. Come on, open up to feel the nature. Breakfast, lunch & dinner were included in the package and the foods were super duper delicious & you better try. What I love the most is the beach area is very clean & the sand is very white. Interesting, Alang’s Rawa are in a class of their own.

Hands down the best beach in Malaysia!! Super close to Singapore, perfect for a weekend getaway or longer. Food is excellent, staff are always so lovely! Always have the best time. Would definitely recommend. It’s the perfect spot to chill.

There are plenty off activities from kayaking , snorkeling, water slides , jumping from the jetty , beach volleyball to hiking up to islands viewpoint overlooking neighbor islands and South China Sea.
Turquoise water kristal clear and white powdery sandy beach , sunsets and sundowns beautiful to watch and chill.
Staff’s are always very friendly warm and smiling . Great food served throughout the day. We sure would love to return the island again.

Alang's Rawa offers a slice of paradise just 20 minutes off the coast of Malaysia. During our visit with my fiancé, we were warmly greeted by Sheena and her team. The resort's limited selection of cabins creates an intimate atmosphere, making it feel like our own private island retreat. The personalized service allowed the staff to know us by name and prepare delicious homemade cuisine crafted by their talented chefs. With a mix of local and Western dishes, the food consistently impressed us. However, the real highlight was the pristine beach and exceptional snorkeling opportunities. The white sandy beaches and vibrant marine life, including rays, sharks, tropical fish, and eels, made for unforgettable underwater adventures. Best of all, all water activities were complimentary. Our room was spacious, equipped with hot water, air conditioning, and a delightful hammock. Fresh towels were provided daily, adding to the comfort of our stay. Overall, our experience at Alang's Rawa was nothing short of amazing. From the friendly staff to the stunning location, delicious food, and memorable adventures, we can't wait to return!

This is the place for an amazing weekend away on one of the world's prettiest beaches. The Sat night BBQs with fresh caught fish and seafood with that special Rawa sauce is epic. Did I mention the beach?! Perfect spot to chill in the sun, sea with fresh coconut & rum. Love you Alangs!

If there was a place synonymous to perfection, it would be Alang's Rawa. The view is no doubt a given but the stellar service and amazing food makes it the favourite island which I keep returning for.

What stands out the most for me is the unique beachfront concept too. Rooms are newly furnished with ac. Don't walk, run to book an unforgettable experience with Alang's Rawa because trust me, it's so postcard worthy you'd never wanna leave.

From the moment you arrive till you bid farewell, it's all inclusive...breakfast, lunch to dinner, snorkeling gear, kayaks, and your own private slice of white sand heaven. And let's not forget the amazing service!

Rawa holds its charm, with Alang's Rawa preserving its natural beauty despite the wild monsoon surprises. Missing those coconut tree vibes and Daisy doggo :) though!

And the food? Oh, it's a feast! Unlimited servings of fresh seafood and more. Can't get enough of this island life!!!

BEAUTIFUL SETTING - GREAT FOOD - AMAZING STAFF

I hosted my 30th birthday celebrations on Rawa and it was by far one of the best birthdays ever!

The recently refurbished rooms were all spacious, comfortable and their simplistic nature carried a lot of charm and only added to the natural beauty they are surrounded by. Waking up with such crystal clear water only meters away is a dream!

The food was all delicious and the kitchen staff were very accommodating to individual needs. Kudos to the chef and his team.

All of the staff were incredibly hospitable and friendly throughout the trip and were very helpful with anything we needed.

Couldn't recommend ALANGS more, especially being such a short and stress free journey away from Singapore..

Absolutely one of the most beautiful beaches I have been to. The staff are helpful and the food is excellent. A perfect getaway.

This has been my second time visiting. Last year i was here with big group of friends and i had so much fun!

Due to Monsoon, i still enjoyed my stay here, just a little different vibes than usual. Staff services was excellent and the view are to die for! I don’t mind waking up here everyday.

Love that the variation of food that they have. I’m a Vegan and the Chef are very kindly to make me some vegan options as well.

I had a dream of coming to Alang’s Rawa since 2009 and finally made it here, definitely recommend YOU to visit here for at least 5 days to explore the island and activities.

A hidden gem, a serene escape with stunning views, delicious food, and impeccable service. A must-visit destination for anyone seeking relaxation and natural beauty.

We came with several little kids in tow and hoped the beach on Rawa Island was going to be one of the best we ever set foot on. Indeed it was. Right from the jetty the boat ride was quick as we reached the resort in just 20 mins. The staff was helpful in getting our bags out of the boat. After checking in we immediately hit the beach. The white sandy beach and clear waters was superb that we can see fishes darts around us. The lunch and dinner buffets tasted great, our only suggestion is to improve the breakfast options if possible. My kids love it here and we spent all 3 days here dipping in the waters any chance we get. The rooms were clean and comfy but we only use it rest up before hitting the beach time and again. My son enjoyed kayaking and jumping off the jetty! It was truly one of a kind experience which even my 6 year still talk about the trip 3 weeks after we have left Rawa island! We hope to return again someday. Thank you to all the staff there for taking care of us during our stay.

This place is beautiful. It is a secluded and small island, so expect things that you can only expect from a secluded island. Sheena was lovely in accommodating all of my requests. The food was wonderful, flavorful. Compliments to the chefs!

One point of improvement I would suggest would be to perhaps have curtains in the little A frame rooms for more privacy. Also yes, bring water to brush your teeth and wash your face because they bring in their own water from mainland, which is not drinkable, but we felt that it did not leave that much of a different feeling after using it to shower (as seen in other reviews).

We loved the stay overall because of how serene the place is. It is like an escape from the hustle and bustle. 3 days was definitely not enough for us.

One star deduction on the rooms is due to the sometimes very bad smelling bathroom and the lack of curtains in our room. According to that the price is too high.

If you’re burnt out and tired of city life there cannot be a better place to recuperate and rejuvenate. While the price is probably a little bit more than the average island getaway, it’s an amazing deal for an all inclusive package of ferry ride, accommodation and food (exclusive drinks). The rooms are minimalist, with basic amenities like comfortable beds, towels, aircon and water heater.

The food choices are well catered for the guests with more than enough for all. The seafood options, protein and vegetarian dishes are tasty, and after a lots of swimming, snorkeling and hiking, it was well satisfying. Drinks are not included so expect to fork out a bit for the beverages, more than usual as the island does not have drinking water and relies on bottled water. The staff go above and beyond to cater to the guests in a very intimate, friendly and warm setting.

If you’re looking for paradise on earth, this is as close as it gets. Special shout out to Sheena and Chef!

I recently stayed here with my family and I must say it has been one of our favourite beach getaways! The staff is so friendly and helpful, the food is so tasty and varied, and the location is simply breathtaking!! Some of our favourite activities included snorkelling, hiking, and kayaking. Would recommend to anyone looking for a secluded and relaxing piece of paradise!!

Our beachfront house location is unbeatable, with direct access to the beach just a few steps away. It was so convenient to be able to take a refreshing swim or soak up the sun without having to walk too far. The shared balcony connecting the two rooms offered breathtaking ocean views and was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The room itself was cozy and comfortable but no fresh water to wash off the salty ocean water after a swim. All in all, we had a fantastic experience at this beachfront house, and the hospitality alone is worth the visit!
