Warung Rumpun Mambu (WRM)

Although there are no fans (i hope they put fans in the future), the mee udang is seriously good!!! It is better than even many chinese mee udang! Ordered a special mee udang(rm30, you can order normal mee udang which is normal large size prawn with rm15... Special is XXXL prawn), it has 4 huge prawns and it is fresh not frozen. Many people were in and out and always almost full, yet they served the mee udang very fast. The photo shows the real size of the prawn, it is larger than my thumb... Highly recommended!

It's a bit busy place to eat but you can still find a table without much waiting. My recommended dish is Mee Udang (Prawn Noodles). My wife and I ordered ABC (Crushed Ice with corn and peanuts) for our drinks and they were very good. The service was fast and friendly.

Spacious area which can accommodate around 50-70 pax at one time.
The food is good and delicious.
Fried squid and prawn are recommended, which is freshly cooked.
Near the fisherman's villages that makes the foods based on seafood is fresh and goods.
The staff is also very friendly, helpful and polite.
The view is nice since it's near the beach.

Along the road in Tanjung Dawai you’ll find this shop selling mee udang (malay-style prawn noodles). The prawns here are big and the noodles are served in a very flavourful broth. The shop also sells other dishes besides mee udang but I haven’t tried them yet. Highly recommended.

I just tried Mee Tulang and Mee Udang inside the premises. Really great and awesome. Must try once you are there Recommended to visit Close on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I went there at around 4 pm on the school holidays weekend. It was packed but we managed to get a seat without having to wait. Parking was available across the road and nearby the warung itself. Service is very fast, got the Mee kuah tulang with in 10 minutes and got almost everything in 20 minutes. The taste of the Mee Kuah Tulang and Mee Udang were excellent. The gravy is thick and flavourful. There are 4 prawns per serving. The prawns are big. It cost RM15 per plate for Mee kuah Udang if not mistaken. All costs us RM 88. For Mee Kuah Tulang, Mee Kuah Udang, 2 plates of Mee Goreng Udang and 1 plate of Nasi Goreng Udang plus drinks. Very satisfied.

Itd my 3rd time eat there, very delicious and superb. Driving from baling kedah its take 1 hour 40minutes but really worth it, mee kuah tulang its my fav

I've tried a lot of mee udang before and most of them disappointed me but I can guarantee this one here is an exception. It tasted so good and the prawns they used were gigantic and fresh. For rm15, this is a bargain. The udang celup tepung also were delicious. The only downside was there were no fans so it was a little bit hot. Highly recommended.

Best mee udang ever tried. Fresh prawn, you can taste the sweetness of the freshness. Fast service and fair price with the portion of the food.

Good food but need to add fan for customer

Highly recommended, the mee udang is mid but what makes it stand out is the big and fresh saltwater prawns for 15 MYR. You will never find this kind of price in the city, the parking is sketchy and quite hard to find a spot but the food is definitely worth trying.

go during weekdays to avoid congestion, or sunday (that's when kedah peeps working)

Price: b40 range expect rm10-20/person

Taste: foods are delicious, i ate mee udang, nasi Goreng udang, nasi goreng pedas giler, and udang and ketam goreng
Good as penang Sg Dua Mee Udang (or maybe more depending on people's take on the menu)

Worth it? : Absolutely!!! Worth every kilometres and pennies

Cons:
If weekend, well as you may expect, congestion
Parking wise, there are few unpaved parking spots, depending on cars

The best sotong celup tepung ever. Mee udang is also great only RM15 per person and all prawns very fresh.

The mee udang is just wow. Haven't ate this kind of mee udang before but the flavors are still in my head right now.

The mee udang is delicious. I came for mee udang only, so I can't commend other foods. Will come again for mee udang and others.
