Great for birders/ wildlife enthusiasts who know what they’re doing (I relied on friends), not so great for hikers who are just looking to walk and sightsee.

Not worth the effort as the application of permit is so challenging if you are not a Malaysian. No clear signboards so it was very confusing for us... we asked some locals working on the bunkers and they don't even know the presence of this place. The bunker trail is a gravel/dirt road that is about 8km long and there are trucks, motorcycles and car driving along this road. There are no access to food, drinks and toilet in this Sanctuary. Personally, I prefer Fraser's Hill.
