Port Weld Scenic Bridge

This is a must visit landmark in Kuala Sepetang (used to be called Port Weld).

Port Weld was an important port during British colonial time. Unfortunately, the only remnant was that of railway stone KTM sign landmark.

Nostalgic place. Peacefull fishing village.

Visited this back in March as the MCO began to kick in, This bridge spans Sepetang River and bridges the Port Weld Fishing Village with the other side of the village on the south bank. The bridge is aptly named as the views really are beautiful, especially when the fishing boats are all in port and, sitting next to the houses and jetties.

Watch beautiful view of K. Sepetang fishing village. The bridge cuts down the travelling time of the Teochew and mixed (town side) villagers. Before this, they need to wait and also pay for the boat ferry (0.20 sen)

You do not need to buy ticket to visit. It is a historical little town where the first railway started here. A nice walk down memory lane,you can see how the local live by the mouth of yhe river if you come early in the morning, you get enjoy the local brrakfast n perhaps buy very fresh fish and vegetables home

Nice view. The bridge connected the main area to the villagers area. Many spot for seafood eatery, you can walk along the way in kampung area. Got package for boat ride too

With the roof top, it's breezy cool even at mid Noon. Looking east, a well preserved traditional fishing village, while the western side of the bridge is the best spot sunset viewing ...

You can even rent boat if you want. Also, there boat for touring around the 'pulau'. Prices start from RM28 and above depends on the 'pulau' location. The sunset view was the best. Hence, this would be nice spot for people who loves fishing.

Go at sunrise or sunset as the views are perfect with the fishing boats either heading out or coming back.

Bridge that link both side of the village. The slop is very steep. Motocyle use this bridge. At the top you can view the whole fishing village.

nothing attraction here, you can stop here to take pictures. this is motorcycle and walking bridge only.

It calms my mind to be there enjoying the simplicity of life.

A old fishing village with the amazing historical background, which is the first railway in Malaya peninsular. Worth a visit in this village hunting for decent seafood and curry laksa.

Very safe bridge for photography activities. Good photo shots when boats coming in and out. Quite number of eagles flying around. Good for birding. Can capture life style of fishermen village. All in one location. Free to use the bridge. Enjoy photography.

Was a good experience. From the bridge you may view many boats parked along side the houses and jetty of the fishermen there. Didn't have the chance to take a boat ride.

Oversee Fishing Village.

The route to the location is very narrow and deep within the fishing village. But do take your time to explore as the entrance is very small and its located in between houses. Despite the hussle , the view is definitely worth the drive.

Go when you are free. Nothing beats the curry mee. The view is as natural as it gets. Great place to recharge

Nice view. Watch out for motorbikes as the go up the ramp really fast. And touts will come and ask your for river cruise tours.
