Salleh Stall Mee Udang Port Weld

A de rigeur stop for me after walking around the fishing village of Kuala Sepetang aka Port Weld. Bowl of Mee Udang ( Prawn Noodles ) cost RM 16 . The mangrove swamps around here produces succulent tasty prawns. We had the prawn fritters too; good bites to whet the appetite

A hidden GEM & still serves the BEST Mee Udang in the area. Have never disappointed me countless times I have been here since it was just a small stall just next to the current location. The prawns have always been perfectly cooked & fresh no matter what dish you are having. And don't be afraid to upsize your order. You won't regret it. Try the Mee Goreng Udang which is my favourite of them all.

The only issue I have is that this place closes early at 7pm. Other than that, like I said, the BEST place to have Mee Udang. Period.

The dining area is okay, spacious and clean. The foods are delicious and the prawns are sweet and tasty. Here is the rating for my order:

Mee Kuah Udang Super Special rated 9/10 : Very big portion and very big prawns. Enough for 2 person 1 bowl. Soup id well seasoning and delicious. Not spicy.

Mee Kuah Udang Special rated 9/10 : Same as Super special but medium size prawns. Great for 1 person.

Udang Goreng Tepung Special rated 10/10 : Crunchy and seasoned well. Very delicious. Should take 2 set since it has 8 pieces per set, or should try Super Special Udang Goreng Tepung.

The prawns are fresher than other popular restaurants nearby. They are still upgrading and renovating the stall. Taste good and price are way cheaper than others. We ate three prawns fried noodles, one prawns noodle and two big size fried prawns for only rm120++. They are so generous of prawns. The fried noodles are made in mamak style.

Excellent taste for the foods. The shrimp is also fresh. There is just no menu on rice" nasi" provided here.

If you first time to taste mee udang u choose the right place..gravy tasted good and you can choose variety size of prawns depends on your appetite..got udang goreng tepung also and it was very delicious

Perfect malay style prawn noodle. I ordered super prawn mee with broth with 5 large prawn at RM20. The broth itself was rich with the flavour of prawn. Moreover with the fresh and QQ prawn, addictive and wow. We finish until last drop of the broth and still do not feel thirsty afterwards.

Parking no problem. Nice deco and clean environment. The only cons was the presence of smoker. But during this pandemic, less people and therefore the smokers did less damage to my body cells and hence do not deduct any stars for ambience

I love the prawn mee here, the portion was generous, the food was delicious, the place was clean, and the price is reasonable for the amount of prawns you get.

I was recommended the Salleh Stall Mee Udang by a friend who is a local. I had Mee rebus Udang. The gravy is perfect, the prawns are fresh and sweet. The soya tofu which is part of the ingredients, are really soft and tasty, it literally melt in your mouth. The service is also prompt and friendly. You must give it a try if you are in Kuala Sepetang. The stall is a bit secluded but you will never miss it with the help of Google map.

Kueh teow udang is the best and spicy. I love it very much, but the broth of mee udang just so so. I wish that they make their broth more creamier, thicker so then the taste will be so good. But i will come here next time

mee udang and mee goreng udang yang super delicious. from my tummy point of view, i prefer mee udang here compared to others because the mee udang kuah is less sweet and rich with udang taste. plus, the mee goreng udang, i give 9/10 for the taste. (less one point because i like it to be more spicy 😄 ). highly recommended - if you don't mind eating in a open space gerai style.
