Taman Tasik Kamunting is a beautiful and well equipped park with plenty of things to do. It is an alternative park for recreational activities to decrease congestion in Taiping Lake Garden.
The Park is developed for the public in order to encourage more recreational and family activities to be done at a safe and conducive environment. The park is equipped with various facilities such as jogging tracks, walking trails, gazebos, carparks, kiddy playground, workout stations, prayer rooms and has a huge open lawn, suitable for family and such.
"Me and my sisters are posting and taking pictures for the Merdeka competition at Taman Tasik Kamunting happily."

About Kamunting
Town in Malaysia

Kamunting is a town in Larut, Matang and Selama District, Perak, Malaysia. It is the biggest satellite town of Taiping. During the Malayan Emergency between 1948 and 1960, Kamunting was the site of a major British/Commonwealth military base, there being a large garrison for the 28th Commonwealth Independent Infantry Brigade and also one of the three British Military Hospitals in Malaya. source
