SSL Traders Hotel

I’ve stayed in a superior room that they have recently refurbished, walls repainted, carpet is new, room smells great, even though furniture was a bit old but overall the cleanliness was great! Great value for the price for one night. Staffs were especially friendly and helpful. Their newly open cafe was great too! Nice food and ambience with reasonable price.

There's a spacious lobby while waiting to check in / check out. The staffs are extremely friendly. With this room rate I got to enjoy the bellhop service which compared to city you won't get anything like this.
During my stay (Deepavali period) I can see the fireworks from the nearby estate. That's the plus bonus for my stay.

Our stay during Christmas is pleasant experience. All staff are friendly. I have no complaint for the room. Can request babycot without extra charge :)

My family and I stayed 3 nights at the SSL Traders during this Chinese New Year . We took up three rooms and upon arrival we were warmly received by the front desk staffs and bellboys were equally helpful and efficient.

However we were very impressed by the services and professionalism shown to us at the Awesum Cafe by both Cik Izati and Hazizi. They went all out of their way to ensure that all our needs were met n made us felt valued and welcomed during the daily breakfast. As a matter of fact every single food & beverage staffs showed us exceptional high professional services and skills.

I am obligated to highly commend and praise En Izwan whom I believe is the security personnel for his honesty and care for the customer’s belonging. I accidentally left my bag at the lobby and En Izwan kindly handed it back to me as we were dining at the Chinese Restaurant . His honesty has shown that he is a real asset to the management.

Having mentioned about the Chinese Restaurant, I wish compliment on the professionalism of the restaurant captain whom were highly knowledgeable and professional in both food & services respectively.

Once again thank you the management & staff for our wonderful stay at SSL Traders Hotel Taiping and looking forward to our next visit in July.

Clean n tidy room. Value for money. Guest can request to extend stay or late checkout. Hotel only charge rm10 per hour for any late checkout request. Near to taiping town around less than 5km.

My first time staying here, very good location, plenty of parking, easy to access from the highway, very near to the town, near to many restaurants and food stalls..

I like this hotel… it’s really nice and the Front office staff really well trained…. Overall happy staying 🥰🥰🥰

My parents ordered the executive suite and it was delightful. The room was A-okay, the carpets were clean and soft, all the sundries that we needed were there. We got our own parking space. Everything else was spick and span. This is my honest review and I recommend people stay here but if you want a pool to swim, than go find another hotel because doesnt have one.

Best farewell dinner for my staff retirement celebration

This is my second time i'm staying in this hotel. Overall my stay at this hotel was excellent, but one of the staff at the Front Desk which is a malay woman i don't recalled her name who's wearing a headscarf & a glasses was quite rude & no smile at all when she attended me upon check-in. Even if she's having a problem, stress, tension or tired, she shouldn't show her moody / sour face in front of me, other guest or colleagues. She should've acted professionally, but she failed to do so. I think she need to be train more professionally. I hope she won't repeat her bad attitude again because this will definitely effect the image & reputation of this hotel. The rest of the Front Desk staff was nice, ok, polite & they always smile as well. Room was clean, comfortable & spacious, but the thing there's no view nor a window at all. Location was good & easy to find. Buffet breakfast was very good, choices of varieties is just perfect & staff was also nice, polite & they always smile too, but the only thing annoying me is there're flies everywhere. The cafe need to install an electric insect killer. At least flies could be lesser. Parking for hotel guest is no issue at all whereby there're Security Guard on duty always on standby & monitor all the vehicles belongs to in-house guest parked at the parking lot from time to time. I'll definitely stay in this hotel again in the near future.

Old room, but comfortable

Stayed overnight 2 days to attend niece wedding, SSL is nice and comfortable place to rest.
Really appreciate and THANKS to SSL house keeping team, they able helped us found the lost necklace and watch. They are great!
