Bukit Bongol

A very challenging trail 😵‍💫... My advice, for those who suffer from knee pain please avoid from hiking this hill until your knee fully recovered...this hill has 3 trails to reach the peak. I chose via Kampung Mandap, the shortest trail. I took 1 hour 20 minutes including a few times stopped to snap a lot of pictures 🤭.. the best part was, your hard work to climb the steep paths will be rewarded with a very fascinating view. The scenary from above the hill was very refreshing and calming. When i was there, there only 4 of us, my husband and i and another couple....it seemed not many people came here that day. No crowded so it quite peaceful and privacy ☺. Tips from me, wherever you are, what you need to do is behave...please not make too much noise, please don't make weird things and please do not litter 🚯. Please take your trash back with you.

Very challenging place to hike if you do the 1.5km route. Very nice scenary one of the best place to hike at Kota Belud. Just that so many rubbish near the entrance of the route.

Awesome view! Really enjoyed our hiking trip here. 2nd time but don't feel bored at all. We really enjoyed the amazing and incredible view of this place. A must go for hikers😃

Best place for short and long hiking, depend on ur choice of route..there are 3 route available..
1. Via Kg.Mandap 1.5km - shortest (1hour + - hike)
2. Via Kg. Kinasaraban 3.3km- 3hour+- hike
3. Via Kg. Pirasan 3.5km- 4hour+- hike

Beautikul hill.. With beautifull background.. It takes 2 hours up if I not mistaken.. There's few peak up there.. This is not only view from bukit bongol only.. I hike bit more to another peak so called minonggui hill

When the first time I went here, I have all the kind of feelings. But the most feeling that I had was happinese. I felt that all my problem was banished. It was wonderful feelin that I ever had in my life. The view from the hill is so amazing. I recommend to all of you to come and witness the beautiful Bukit Bongol. I promise that you won't regret.

A 1hour climbing.. but worth of mount kinabalu view.

Loved this place! No tourists, hidden treasure. It took us one hour to get to the peak!
