Excellent bowl of Mazesoba. Superbly addictive and comforting. Ask for rice after to scoop up the rest of the tasty broth.

A hidden gem in Sri Petaling.

Their signature Mazesoba tasted as great as in Japan! Not to forget the eat with the specially made Vinegar. The ramen was also really good. The broth had strong flavour but not too salty. The Karaage taste ok but it's juicy enough😀

One of the nicer places to have good Japanese noodles. Can be a bit pricey (RM21 for my noodles, other options also around that price or go up to RM32) l, but it tastes damn good.

*A large bowl of noodles can now cost RM26, and RM30+ for some options. Inflation 😭

Don't forget about the white kelp vinegar they give, adding that really raises the flavor. They give free mineral water. You can also ask for a free bit of rice after you finish your noodles to wipe clean the noodle broth. Noodle broth is great, aromatic with egg, minced meat, and garlic.

Takoyaki is among the best I've tasted, crispy shell with piping hot filling, and fresh tako. Considering past takoyakis I had all come from night markets, which are often soggy and cold, this is really on a whole other level. Can be a bit salty after a few bites but the given veges help balance that out.

The place can be a bit warm inside.

Most recent visit with noodles and takoyaki cost RM40

Apparently this a branch of the original Menya Hanabi from Nagoya that’s famous for its mazesoba (soupless ramen). So naturally we ordered the mazesoba and I’m impressed ! The ramen texture was so chewy, just the way I loved it. The pork slices, minced pork, eggs etc. were all mixed up to offer a slightly spicy wet dry ramen, something similar to our chili pan mee.
The gyoza was very good too & you know these are made in house as the meat are fresh & the gyoza skin smooth.
The ambience though is very much Japanese with kitchen counter seatings and some small tables attached to the kitchen counter.
Can be warm inside during hot days as we went for lunch on a hot afternoon. Evenings would be much more comfy.
Expect to queue during peak hours and Japanese prices - most ramen cost above Rm30. But service is prompt and you order when you are queuing so that once seated your food is served !

Yum yummm!
Probably the best mazesoba I ever had.

Like the noodles texture, the flavour is thick and creamy and the vinegar helps to elevate the flavour. Don't forget to save some sauce to request for a scoop of rice to end the meal. Its so satisfying 😌

Gyoza is another best thing here. The skin is thin and crispy, they make everything just right. Love it.

best dried ramen I’ve ever had in Malaysia.
portion quite big, after you finished your ramen and sure there will be leftover those spirit of essence😆 can ask for add on rice for free if you still able to eat.
price consider slightly higher, but since they can maintain the level, for me it’s worth to pay for it.

*Poached Egg was PERFECT!

My fave mazesoba place.
Love the texture of the noodle and all that goes into the bowl.
Had the signature Nagoya mazesoba and it was as good as it always was. A must add- kelp vinegar; mix it in & brings out even more of the flavour in the bowl of noodle.
When you are done with your noodles, do ask for a scoop of rice to suck up all the yummy sauce in the bowl ☺☺☺
Had their chicken karaage side dish too -crispy and tasty👍🏼
We also ordered their shoyu ramen; the broth as always also ever so flavourful.
Prices have increased over the years but the flavours they have maintained. Let’s just hope there are no more price increase anytime soon 🥹

To me, this is the best ramen served outside Japan? This is true for our family and they are still the best with their special dried ramen “Mazesoba” and the soupy ones. With their dried version, diners could ask for a scoop of rice to finish off “the wholesome meal”! They have a few branches now within Klang Valley… Highly recommended!

I love the texture of the noodle!!
And they offer a free scoop of rice to finish up all the leftover “essence” in the bowl 🤣
Overall a very nice experience..
Although it’s a bit pricey but the taste is definitely worth it!

Service is good, the food come out fast. All of the food is so delicious and the place is clean too. Best ramen I can eat at Malaysia. I kindly recommend the first pic. It is the second item at the special menu if I'm not mistaken. The taste amazed me.

Must try the Nagoya Mazesoba. It's very hard to find in most of the Japanese restaurants. Soup Ramen worth a try too, the broth is umami.

Best dry ramen/udon that I have tried in KL. the food quality just getting better even though they are getting more crowd and expanding their business. It’s rare in Malaysia and I definitely appreciate it. Please keep it up so I can have this forever .

Ps their korokke (Japanese croquette) is unexpectedly good ! Please try !

The first and only Mazesoba in KL. My first time trying this Nagoya style ramen and it was very delicious. They even guided you on how to eat a Mazesoba by the staff.

They offer variety on the menu and price wise is just average...

No introduction needed but after so many years, are they still true to their quality? Well I can say it is still consistently good. First I ordered the Hanabi Tonkotsu Ramen, I can tell you it's so full of flavours and richness from the pork bone soup. It's smooth, creamy and full bodied to the extent you want more. Honestly, for RM33 the portion is a bit small compared to Menya Shi Shi Do. But taste wise, this is my favourite. The other sometimes do have that porky smell that can be in your face. Slurrp away! Then the highlight, Nagoya Mazesoba. It's perfect! Slightly thicker type noodle that is cooked to perfection. Al dente and chewy like texture. Remember to ask for rice to finish off the balance of toppings in your bowl. Sinfully good until today.

Love their food, friendly service, explain to you if you have any doubt. Their signature ramen is one menu with 2different way to enjoys it, first you mix the ramen with vinegar then eat, and after you finished it, shop will provide you a bit of rice, which you can mix it with the balance of the noodles sauce in the bowl, which give you another type of gourmet experience.

I did not know they have this in Malaysia. I tried this overseas. It was like Malaysia Chili Pan Mee but in the japanese version. The flavor is good, the portion is enough as u can add rice to mix with the leftover sauce in the end. I'm surprised there are not many people who know about it.

This is my first time here and my god was the maze soba good! The sauce was amazing and pleaseee do add the cheese option for the maze soba. The cheese makes the sauce even thicker and creamier. After you finished your noodles, request for a free rice and mix the rice with the remaining sauce and it was sooo gooddddd. Their gyoza was really good too! Think skin and juicy meat inside. This is a must try!

Not sure this original is from Taiwan or Japan. Why ask say so, because I saw the menu mostly dry mee instead of soup ramen. But my friend do order soup ramen. Since the dry mee is their recommended then I order the most expensive dry mee(abit like panmee). The mee and sauce not bad, the roasted pork cooked well. You may add some vinegar if you wish to, the taste will become another flavor but also nice. Karaage is slightly overcooked, but still nice. The gyoza is quite good, soft flour skin with juicy meat. But the price is not cheap as you know Japanese famous shop also.

I order the gyoza, octopus ball and the signature dry Ramen. I will say the gyoza easily ranks top 3 in KL. While their dry Ramen may not be for everyone. It is on the heavy side, so I will suggest order the normal size bowl. The octopus ball is fine for sharing. All in all, a interesting culinary experience and something to try once.
