The gulai panas was made freshly by makngah upon our order. We were able to choose the fish that we wanted to & other menus 😋 A best place to visit after a very tiring mangrove & snorkelling activities

Gulai curry/Kari Kedah style memang berbeza dengan penangan kedai mamak or dengan masakan negeri lain. This small restaurant or eating joint serves fresh fish and veggies.

Style of cooking is fresh and they really take care of quality. The waitresses are very friendly and attentive. Here simple local food is freshly cooked by request. The veggies or soo called ulam are unique and exquisite. Price very reasonable on the cheap side.

Found this shop on our our way to Kilim Jetty. Affordable food and got lot of choices for breakfast. Love the makciks, they’re so friendly and welcoming. They also serve for lunch but it can get a lil bit far if you’re from Kuah.

We went a bit late so all the prepared dishes almost finished so we requested for a fresh jenahak fish curry and fried prawns with ulam- ulam to be eaten with rice. Yummy, all gone within minutes!

Food was good.. gulai ikan.. fish curry.. maybe because its fresh fish.. the combination with sambal sotong makes it even better.. environment is normal only.. village style.. we when in a group of 100 people.. they could have managed the crowd better..

The Gulai Panas is a 3-Michelin Star dish. Choose your fish and they’ll cook it fresh. That is what makes it amazing! We chose a big ikan Repoh, half of it was cooked in the gulai, the other half was grilled with just salt. Highly recommended. Don’t expect much with the decor nor amenities though...

This is the best Gulai Panas in Langkawi. Fresh fishes daily, nicely cooked. Must try the ikan bakar, sambal udang and sotong kunyit. 5 star food!

Servis tip top, rasa tip top first class, harga juga berpatutan! Worth the car trip. Location & the shop environment looked like a traditional local eating place, but this is a hidden germ that soon going to be super viral (it's already viral among local Malaysian who frequently visit Langkawi)
