CAFÉ-CITO

We ate here everyday for breakfast and the owner and his family are some of the sweetest and fun people to be around. They made our trip so much more memorable. The food is delicious too!

This place is quaint, simplistic and very warm and welcoming. It reminds me of my grandmothers house. The food is good and simple, can't go wrong. It's nothing fancy and very well priced. The coffee is good as well, both americano and cafe lattes. Ziggi is absolutely the best!! He will be your island tour guide if you need it. He knows everyone and has a heart of gold!

The coffee and food is very very good. Super kind and funny with their service.

There are also some "secret" spicy home-made sauces I highly recommend.

Many restaurants and shops on this island have gone through several changes, but not Cafe Cito. We started visiting Isla in 1996, and this place has been here, unchanged since before then. It's lovely and the food is great. We look forward to eating here every time we are on the island.

We love this spot ! Every 3 or so months we come from Dallas to the island and we have more breakfasts at Café Cito then any other place. Food is very good and price is amazing. The owner is so nice and has many stories to tell about riding his Harley all over.
It's a must go when staying on the island.

My family stayed for a week in the house across the street from this cafe and our balcony looked down at that corner. I sent my son down every morning to run over and grab coffees for us and the incredibly nice guy that works there (owner?) would walk with my son as he left to get him across the street safely. He was a big reason why my son exclaimed at the end of our trip, "Dad, the Mexican people are so friendly!" Thank you!

I was passing by looking for a different place when the owner heard I needed food, he told me about his place. I decided to try it and was very happy with my special breakfast and the owner personally made my latte! Pesos!

Delicious home style breakfast. A wonderful family-owned business. In an ever-changing world, it is a beautiful thing to know that a breakfast here will always be on point.
They make an incredible jam made of bananas, coconut, and pineapple...to die for!

One of our favorite things to do is dine locally, and cafe Cito was a real treat for breakfast. Super clean and with the hardest working staff I've seen, our breakfast was made ever so much better by our conversations with local patrons. Just a wonderful way to start the day.

Fodor's (yes I still buy printed travel guides) recommended this place for breakfast and I was very pleased. I got the ham and cheese omelette. It came with fruit salad and wonderful jam. Very nice people. I sat and read while the centro woke up.

Louis and his brother are phenomenal! The food was fantastic! We rode the scooter from Punta Sur every morning to eat!!

My favorite spot on the island and a go-to for coffee. Siggy and the other guy that run the shop are very friendly (you see I learned his name, but maybe not how to spell it). Breakfast is good here too.
