La Loma Linda

We loved this place. We booked for a hut with a perfect view over the wide beach and also had a hammock on our terrace which was my personal favorite. The owners, all staff were super nice, I also liked the gardening. You can also have breakfast here at a small price and attend yoga classes. We extended our stay and would love to come back

We stayed three nights in La Loma Linda. The owners build the whole place themselves and their complex of little houses upon this beautiful hill, looks very nice and lush. Staff is very friendly and helpful. All of the houses are a little different, but they're all spacious and well taken care off, many of them with amazing views to the ocean, which is just across the street. There's a little bar which provides great breakfast and there's the opportunity to to yoga daily. We absolutely loved it here and hope to come back in the future.

Stayed here for a 10 day trip on the Oaxaca coast. It’s right across the street from the beach and access is very easy. The place is very well run, very clean , staff is attentive and friendly, yoga upstairs and a dining area that serves great breakfast. The bungalows are very nice, and I personally love the outdoor showers. If choosing a bungalow, get a higher one, as they have more views of the ocean on the deck. I recommend contacting the hotel directly and booking with the hotel through WhatsApp for the best service, availability and rates. You can find that on their website. It was a nice place to hang the hat for my holiday

We stayed for 4 nights and what a special experience - we could see the ocean from our room and hear it at night which was amazing. The staff were fantastic and really helpful. The space for yoga was wonderful and I loved the classes (they run Weds-Sun). It’s a short walk to the beach down some steps. We’d absolutely recommend staying here.

I had a lovely stay at La Loma Linda. Communication was fast and effective via email and all questions were answered ahead of time. Someone was there right when I got there to show me my room and the property. I appreciated the eco friendly toilet and the outdoor shower. There was no yoga class on the day I was there (Monday evening to Tuesday) but I was able to use the shala for my personal practice. The views are incredible, I ate breakfast right on the property, and the location is a quick walk to the beach and the town. I would definitely stay here again next time in Zipolite!

Absolutely magical place with an unreal view of Zippolite beach. Take the huts with the view and not the ones on the back side, it really is worth the extra price!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating and moved our stay by one day after our flight got cancelled. There's amazing yoga lessons for not much money and the cafeteria's homemade food is delicious.

Just one thing: Zippolite is mosquito country, so bring your best repellant. Also a bit of heat resistance is required depending on the time of the year, since the beautifully thatched huts have no AC.

In any case, this place ranks among the most beautiful I've ever stayed, the owners really crafted a little garden paradise for themselves on that hill. Hope I make it back there some day!<3

I hopped around a lot in the little charming town of Zipolite, and this hotel sanctuary has been by far my favorite place I have stayed. Every bungalow (I slept in 3 different ones due to my own erratic planning) has its own charm and personality. The bungalows are uniquely furnished and constructed but all have an incredible isolated view of the ocean. I have been fortunate to have traveled all around the world, but few places have impressed me to the level of this place. What impressed me the most is how nice the owner was with me. She was so accommodating and kind, beyond what was necessary. My only regret is not having taken one of the many yoga classes that they offer. I will be back soon for yoga and lodging soon.

WE just found our little paradise here at La Loma Linda. The Cabanas are really beautiful and decorated with love and the whole area spreads an atmosphere of peace, happiness and relaxing :D
Our room was very clean and we loved to take a shower in the open bathrooms. La Loma Linda also has great Bio-tank toilets.
The healthy breakfast here is cheap and really delicious and we enjoyed the yoga classes every morning a lot.
But what made it most special here were the Owners who made us feel like home, always invited us for a beer at their terrace to see the sunset and they really did their best to make our stay unforgettable!!

My stay in La Loma Linda was my best time in Mexico! I don't know if the man who wrote that horrible 1-star review ever worked in hospitality, but I have and it's really stressful when an additional guest shows up when everything is fully booked! This is not a reason to leave this wonderful small family-run business a bad review. Christina is the name of the woman he mentions and she is lovely and resourceful - and a talented artist. The ATMs often don't work from Zipolite to Mazunte, and she kindly lent me money trusting that I would pay it back when I returned home. The bungalows are built in an environmentally conscious way, they are beautifully kept, you can hear the waves at night, the staff are all wonderful. Dieter (the owner) goes beyond the call of duty to ensure that all of his guests are enjoying their stay. I can highly recommend them - and will definitely stay there again.

La Loma Linda is the perfect place to stay while in Zipolite! Amazing location, facilities and a super host and owner, I will be back 1 day, the only place to stay in Zipolite

Great spot atop overlooking all of Zipoliti to watch the beautiful sunset. Short stroll to any Beach and all the restaurants you could want. Easy access and beautifully-designed rooms.

Nice bungalows options on top of the hill; some of them are facing the ocean. Beautiful views.
Some noise at night coming from the ocean seashore when tall waves are braking on the beach. Clean and safe. Local food options in the morning (yummy).
Yoga classes. Speaks different languages (English, Spanish, German)

What an Amazing place. Love the location, the serenity, hearing the waves of the ocean at night and the roosters in the morning. Katja and Dieter the owners really put lots of Love in their place. Christina the welcoming lady is just incredible and of course the staff is just adorable. I would recommend La Loma Linda anytime.

Bungalow hotel with a commanding view of the ocean. The rooms are simple and clean with adjoining large patio spaces complete with hammocks and furniture. The beach front is steps away. Many that board here extend the stay.

La Loma Linda is a wonderful place to stay when in Zipolite. The views of the beach & sunset are fantastic. There is an excellent yoga class each morning & delicious breakfast with local fruit. The gardens around the rooms are beautiful! My favorite place to stay in Zipolite.

Wonderful, peaceful place to chill. Mindfully designed Cabanas that are private and designed for outdoor living. Yoga classes on premises. Secure, clean and beautifully landscaped on the side of a hill. You can see and hear the Ocean which is approximately 150 m away. A real and unique gem.

This place has kept the spirit of the 70ies Zipolite and retreives your stay with a splendid view over the beach. The sound of the waves and mild climate will let you suender to peace and gratefulness as soon as you arrive.

Cute, clean eco-lodge, well situated with an ocean view. Staff was accommodating with our arrival and departure. Price was unbeatable; we paid nearly as much for our beds in a shared hostel in Mazunte.
