Great location close to town and good value. Very chill and nice people. The treehouse room was rustic but exactly what you would want it you’re coming here. The only notes I would make for planning purposes is that the rooms require a walk across a courtyard to the bathroom or showers. Not an issue for most clients coming to this town. Also, the bar across the street plays ridiculously loud music until 2am every night. The provided earplugs help but if you’re looking for a very quiet stay, maybe skip

We didn’t stay here but we came to the restaurant 4 times during our visit to Zipolite. The service is good, drinks are excellent with some solid specials, and the food too. Awesome breakfast, great guacamole, and the focaccia is to die for! Lovely view of the beach and comfy beach chairs. What’s not to love?

Came for drinks here almost everyday. Also had dinner twice the prawns are steak amazing. A perfect spot for sunset on the beach and 2 mescalitas for 100 all day everyday!

I've stayed here twice. Right on the beach, with deckchairs and umbrellas if you want to read and order drinks literally on the beach.
The rooms are fairly basic, and don't have AC. But the fan is decent, and I love the Mexican beach style, and down-to-earth feel of everything.
Each room comes with a little area of its own with a hammock.
Food is fairly decent, although I found the coffee undrinkable.
Would definitely stay here again!

Great little resort on the beach. Well maintained and well trained staff. Our room seemed small, but we made do. Whoever came up with the childrens chairs had no thought for old knees. Could use a little more light for reading and over the mirror.
Some loud music at night from the bar across the street but they seemed to wind down around midnight. No AC for those hot afternoons but that's when the cold shower comes in handy. Just a few steps from the ocean. We'll be back!

Ate at their restaurant twice and the food was delicious. Staff were super nice and the location on the beach was great.

Great room. The host was always pleasant and very welcoming. She quickly and gladly accommodated any of our requests. It felt like a 'community' of guests who were all social and friendly.

Beautiful space created by two lovely sisters. We had the last little hut close to the street, which turned out to be quite a noisy spot but besides that we had a wonderful time!

Writing reviews is not something I do often and it's hard to because it comes down to we are all different and have different views, needs, expectations and even our desires differ from time to time. I visit the Oaxaca Coast a lot and always spend at least a week in Mazunte and a week in Zipolite. I like to stay at different places for new experiences each trip. Some times up on the hillside away from everything but for this trip it was all about relaxing right on the beach and the right location close to everything. I have been wanting to try Posada Mexico out, most of the time they are booked full. I did book a month before arriving this time. It fit what I was looking for on this trip. A very relaxing place and perfect lication. You can walk out of your room and chill in your hammock or walk through the garden area to sit at a table on the beach and have your morning coffee or fresh fruit drinks, maybe some hotcakes and watch the people as they stroll along the seashore. Or you can change your mind and take a nap and it's not a big deal because you didn't have to make plans to find somewhere to have coffee and eat...its all right here a few steps away. The restaurant is rated very high by the locals as well as guests and I have to agree and the staff here, well it's more like a family and a great team. 5 stars on everyone that works here. Who knows where I will stay at on my next trip here but it very well could be here again if they are not booked up and that in itself says a lot coming from me. No matter what I will stop by to visit and have coffee and eat and you should try it as well

We can only review the breakfast. We love the huevos divorciados. We are not a big fan of eggs in Mexico but these are a winner. We have been coming back every day during our trip for more. The prices are pretty good too at 65 pesos for the plate. The service has always been good and the view is perfect. Also love the garden when youre walking into the restaurant. Will have to try the dinners here eventually.

Love this place right at the beach. You feel as if you are In a different world. Great staff they are all helpful and friendly. The food it's awesome I don't know the cook but apparently she believes "age it's just a state of mind" wise lady and excellent cook.

Stunningly delicious meal with a view to match. My wife to be had an amazing pizza, and I had beef in Chile Verde which is perhaps one of the best meals in my life. Cooked perfectly rare, and just the right amount of spicy! And all at an extremely reasonable price!

Great location on Zipolite Beach. Happy hour is now from 12-6. Margaritas are nice and flavourful - not too strong. Great menu of Italian and seafood favourites.

Nice and quiet Romantic dinner place on the beach. The staff is friendly and with a variety of Mexican and Italian food selection. Price is fair and my bloody Mary tasted great. 9/10

Casual and comfortable. Romantic little tables under beautiful palm thatched palapas on the beach. Great sunset spot. Great food and plenty of seating.

Probably our favourite at Zipolite. The perfect "feet-in-the-sand" feel with cosy fires and lights. Friendly service and ok prices. Pizzas are the best in town, crispy as they should. Other meals are good and generously portioned. Happy hour all day long, two cocktails for 60 Pesos. Breakfast also.
