Great accommodations directly on the beach, they are making improvements all the time. Owner Alex and staff are super friendly and accommodating. Very basic accommodations, bed, table, chair, one outlet, one light, sheets, towel, tp, and a fan if you ask. Hammocks. Gorgeous sunset every night. Limited part-time bar. Shared outdoor bathroom/ cold shower. You will have sandy feet. Perfect beach bungalow. $500-650 depending on room and season.

This week has been the best week ever due to the amazing location and not least the whole staff, no body mentioned and nobody forgotten.
This is the best authentic accommodation you will find in Zipolite beach. The rooms with balcony and sea view is a great option.
I had a great time hanging out with the open minded people who stayed here or just dropped by to hang out.

Calm and nice place on the beach with the best staff. Enjoyed every second! I had one of the rooms with balcony and private shower and bathroom. There are some rooms where you share bathroom and that also looked really nice. Simple design on the rooms nice sheets and cold shower. Just how you want it at the beach <3 Gonna miss this place and the helpful staff!!!!! Big kiss!!!!

I keep returning to this magical rustic place right on the beach - the location is excellent, the rooms, especially the sea-view ones are amazing and the host and staff are wonderful and make you feel so welcome! This little gem is all you need for a great stay. I have been there three times now and each stay is great.
The rooms overlooking the sea are simple but beautiful, the lights are romantic and the bathroom comes with a shower. Every morning you get to wake up, open the many windows and look at the waves.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I was only planning on staying for 2 nights and ended up staying for 8 nights.

Ballelita is the kind of place where it makes you not want to leave. The staff were very friendly and courteous.

The rooms are spacious and clean. Ask for the ones facing the ocean and you’ll be waking up to that view of the vast Pacific or watch the sunset and if you’re lucky, you’d see whales waving back at you.

Although it is located on the beach and the main strip, it is quiet at night. Their restaurant and bar closes at 7pm and they never played any obnoxiously loud music like the other guest houses on the beach so rest assured that all you’d be hearing is the sound of the waves crashing onto the shore.

I highly recommend Ballelita should you find yourself making an spontaneous trip to Zipolite like I did and hope you’d have an amazing experience like I did too. :)

Definitely the coolest hotel on the beach in Zipolite! It's simple and rustic, so don't expect 5-star hotel fancy stuff. What you get though, is the warmest, most sincere service, and an invitation to be part of the Zipolite family – better than any service we have experienced at the posh hotels.

It's great for meeting other travellers, creative locals, and chilled out people. If you really want to experience the Zipolite beach life, there is no other place that's better.

The bar is great with affordable prices and amazing drinks and food, remember to ask for the Pedrohito and the mescal selection!

I won’t have enough word to describe the best place to stay in Zipolite, Ballelita, so the best thing you have to do it’s to try it. Like us you will probably plan to stay one night, and figure out two weeks later that you are still there.

Best place in Zipolite

Si eres de las personas que viaja sin lujos, sin excentricidades y no muy exigente, pero que además goza de disfrutar de la naturaleza, este es el lugar perfecto.

Ballelita tiene una ubicación excepcional, justo en la esquina de la playa con de una de las entradas principales a la Zipolite, justo a la orilla del mar.

Sus habitaciones son austeras, pero cumplidoras, no requieres más, incluso la mía tenía una ventanita al mar. Dormir y despertar con las olas es algo espectacular. El baño bien en general, básico, quizás solo le metería un poco más de cuidado, pero en general nada grave.

La atención de Odín y Ale son excepcionales, tratan a un increíblemente, siempre amables, dispuestos a orientarte y muy flexibles.

La ubicación es tan buena que estás a unos pasos de la calle del adoquín donde encontrarás todo de comer, de souvenirs, tiendas, farmacias, cajeros automáticos, en fin, incluso a la ubicación llegas caminando de la terminal de los colectivos al hospedaje. Sí le caminas un poco pero nada grave, así te ahorras los taxis.

Estar sobre la playa es delicioso, aunado a las hamacas y sillas que tienen, además de que llegas caminando por la arena a la playa del amor y a la zona de bares.

En fin, lo recomiendo mucho sin lo tuyo es viajar económico y a lo natural. Regresaría sin duda.

PD. Solo me dejaron pelucitas sus toallas porque estaban recién lavadas 😆

Aunque no cuenta con restaurante el bar tiene precios muy accesibles para ser playa, la habitación que tome fue prácticamente para llegar a dormir pero estaba bien. La gente del bar es muy amable.

Las habitaciones son prácticamente para dormir, el hotel está frente a la playa, tiene bar a precios accesibles para la zona y te atienden de maravilla.

Cabanas direttamente sulla spiaggia e con una vista incredibile. I migliori proprietari di tutto il Messico e un esperienza di comunità con tutte le persone che frequentavano il posto. E ovviamente un posto semplice, ma per noi rispondeva a tutte le esigenze che avevamo.
Dalle stanze dove eravamo stavamo direttamente sul mare ed ancora oggi e la cosa che ricordiamo con più felicità del Messico. Non vedo l'ora di tornarci e un abbraccio a tutti loro!
