Orale Café

Orale Café is incredible. We were in town for just two days, but came for brunch twice. Service is friendly and efficient, setting is lovely - near the beach, but not in the sun. The food, however, is incredible. The best French toast I’ve ever had (I ordered the sweet & salty breakfast special). Extremely reasonable prices, and everything we ordered was delicious. What a great spot!

This was a sweet surprise! The menu listings are simple and the plates abundant with good food. The café americano came with so much foam we thought cream had been added! ( Picture taken after initial drink) The sweet and salty plate included French toast with syrup, scrambled eggs, bacon, and fried potatoes. The spinach omelette included fried potatoes, black beans, and baguette toasts with butter on the side. The hibiscus kombucha was from Jamaica. We were also offered hot sauce, which we accepted. It was a perfect addition to our meal. Friendly staff, quick service, nice environment. They have a steady stream of clients from the time they open until closing. They serve breakfast and lunch. Eat up and enjoy!

After many recommendations we made it. It’s off the beach tucked away in the hills. Surrounded by very nice homes and a few great restaurants. We arrived about 10 on a Sunday and got the 1st time there was a line to get in. The tables turn over fairly quickly. Now to the food. I had the quiche and the others had French toast the special with eggs. All very good. The OJ is fresh squeezed! I highly recommend this restaurant and tell your friends. I would say best breakfast/ brunch (closes around 2) in Zipolite!

this is one of my favorite breakfast spots in zipolite. everything on the menu is amazing, especially their bacon and baguette. the staff are super-friendly too. make this one of your regular spots!

Very lucky that Orale Café is still in Zipolite. They've moved to a new place. The old place was already super, the new place is even better. Very nice atmosphere, brand new location. The food is amazing, the service superb. If you are around you should visit. I'll 100% sure will come back to this place to enjoy it the fullest!

The best breakfast place in Zipolite! I always get the omelet which is cooked perfect and comes with fresh warm toasted bread and potatoes. It's tucked back in a little garden so it can get buggy at times. The servers are nice but it would be even better if they smiled more/seemed happier. Overall great food and great atmosphere!

I’m not surprised this café has a 4.8 rating here. It’s a gem. There’s quite a wide selection on the menu and lots of healthy choices. I particularly like the veg omelette. Friendly owner and servers. Thanks for a great start every morning during my stay in Zipolite.

No ocean view but cozy beautiful large palapa in a jungle atmosphere.

Huevos rancheros ($70) + tocino ($25) was flavourful and the eggs cooked well. My bf enjoyed his baguette con huevo, jamon y queso ($80) as well. My cafe americano was good however my bfs frappe was a bit lacking (thin with small chunks of ice)

One of the best breakfasts I've had in Mexico. The atmosphere was perfect! I had the quiche and my wife had a perfectly cooked omelet. Extra points for real butter with the toast. Words of wisdom, lather up on the mosquito spray- but if you forget, they have some! Don't miss this spot on your trip to Zipolite.

Fantastic breakfast cafe with strong coffee and good food. Nice atmosphere with very clean restrooms. Only negative - This is a place that caters to tourists in a town that has virtually no ATMs. Every good business owners know that people spend more when using a credit card and their employees get a bigger tip.

Delicious food, good portions, attentive and quick service, & great breakfast/brunch options before starting your day or hitting the beach! Omelettes were great.

Best breakfast in town located in a quiet garden with a family feel, super friendly staff and constant and excellent quality dishes and drinks with fair prices. Try the french toast, super yummy even if they are a bit different from what you would get in the US for example. Egg dishes and sandwiches are wonderful. Green smoothie is excellent. It is well visited by the locals so you can easily get connected with the atmosphere of Zipolite.

Orale has moved from it's flood-prone previous site to a brand new higher and drier location a short walk down Calle las Casitas under a massive palapa. They still serve up the best breakfast in Zipolite and do so incredibly inexpensively, with a full service espresso coffee bar. Not to be missed. Orale gets very busy on weekends so go early. The pan Frances has always been my go-to but if you're here for lunch the BLT is also fantastic.

Best breakfast in Zipo—on a busy day, you need a res or you might not get a table. Reasonable prices, $50 juice, $75-200 breakfast entrees.

Such a cozy place; a (hidden) gem in Zipolite. They recently moved to this new location, just slightly further off the main road. Plenty of locals visiting there and especially in the weekends you have a big risk that all tables are taken.
