We heard do much about this place and it was as advertised! Great! The service tonight was a little slow but it was worth the wait. I think the owners dog was on site. With droopy feed me eyes. I did not!
All in all the 6 awesome meals and appetizers were so good we will be back. It’s a short walk from the Main Street down a dark dusty road and when you reach the lit up boat you are so close to the best meal in Zipolite. I highly recommend you try this place and share with friends.

The best in town! Javier and Paco run the place with elegance, style and character that give this place a smart and quirky feel, though no high heels here. The food is delicious and varied, the menu is international with a Mexican touch. Cocktails are great, wine selection is limited but fine. The music is perfect for the place, though sometimes street musicians occupy the scene. We went here many times and always had a great night.

Best restaurant in Zipolite! We've had a great dinner here, appetizers, main dishes, deserts, cocktails. Everything was amazing. Paid around 500 pesos + tip for each for a full full full dinner.

Excellent restaurant! In the middle of nowhere (not really, but feels like), surrounded by garden, cool interior, food was interesting and tasty, prepared and decorated with love. Could see that in the well organized open kitchen. all staff speaks proper English, super friendly. Called a taxi for us afterwards. Not cheap, compared to the other options, but makes absolutely sense!! worth every Peso. Something special!

Every once in awhile a place comes along that makes you want to go back in time and change all of your other 5-star reviews to 4s so you can rate it properly. This is one of those places. Amazing. 6-stars.

Definitely a "must" place to eat in Zipolite. Javiar and his chef will positively amaze you! Class all the way, atmosphere, food and artwork to die for. Their new location is a little closer to the main street, which is nice, making it a fabulous place to dine on the way to, or back from "downtown". Don't miss it! Fantastic choices on the menu, always cooked to perfection. We have eaten here many times and hope to many, many times more!

Creative, fresh fusion cuisine. Cozy yet elegant setting. Reservations required. Also just a wonderful place to have a fabulous cocktail before dinner before you get your table.

Delicious food (loved the coconut shirmp and chocolate cake), extremely friendly staff, great spontaneous live music, perfect for dinner and/or a cocktail.

Treated like a king! We arrived before opening but were allowed to wait inside and our drink order was taken which we appreciated. Service and food were excellent. Highly recommended with fair prices. Would drive there from Puerto Escondido again just for the experience. Will return to sample other items on the menu but can say some of the best steak I have had in all of Mexico!

One of my favorite restaurants in Mazunte. Beautiful quaint decoration that makes you just want to stay there chatting and eating all night. The waiting room is beautiful, you feel like you are in someone’s living room. Even if you’re not looking to have a full dinner this is a great place for a drink and a quick bite.

Flavors were delicious and very inventive. The Chile Amarillo filled with cheese and quince was spectacular. We loved it so much we ordered it twice. The empanadas de camarón were also outstanding. Will definitely come back when I find myself in zipolite again.

This place has a great atmosphere with great food. You know it is good when the local business owners eat there as well.

Very nice experience provided by wonderful staff. Food was delicious and well prepared. Good transition from the typical fare found on the playa.

I ordered the beef medallions with caramelised red onions and blue cheese and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. It felt like I was in France! It was delicious. My husband got the beef as well and asked for it rare, and it came out perfect. We had the chocolate cake for desert and it was very tasty. Service was very attentive and pleasant. They have a gorgeous friendly dog who I enjoyed petting. Thank you 😊

Excellent restuarant. Delicious food. Good service. The chef came out to say hello. We came here at night and the way to get here was down a dark side road but it's a hidden gem. I highly recommend everyone come here. Oh the drinks are also great. The waiters knew enough English. The owner also was nice.

Nice decorated restaurant in an open air environment. Decorations are colorful and pleasing to the eye. Food is absolutely delicious and service is excellent.

I LOVE this restaurant. Every time I come to Zipolite, dining here is a MUST. From Maitre'd's welcome, to senior waiter, both working here for years, to other helpers, and Chef himself who likes to interact with patrons, this place is beautiful. Food presentation, flavors, energy, service, surrounding. It's is just beautiful and superb! I highly recommend.
