The most perfect experience! What a beautiful hotel with a friendly and accommodating staff. The location is so perfect - easy walks to nearby sites, markets, shopping, and restaurants. Beautiful courtyard and wonderful breakfast to start each day. I highly recommend this hotel!

beautiful little hotel in the center of everything. Great service and courtyard/lobby and while we tried to eat at other local places, their in-house restaurant is also not bad. Would definitely stay here again except in a bigger room - the non-suite rooms are a bit small if you need a desk or anything.

From the moment we pulled up, the staff was ready to welcome us for our 3 day stay- We arrived to early for our check in but staff was beyond accommodating and set our luggage aside for us while we had a delicious snack in the restaurant which is conveniently attached to hotel. The birds in the patio truly give this place a touch of magic and the colors throughout, simply give San Miguel that feeling of the beautiful Oaxacan hospitality. We are definitely coming back 🫶🏽 Highly recommended ❣

My first trip to Oaxaca and at this beautiful hotel. Beautifully furnished rooms, friendly and very knowledgeable staff. The food and drinks here are some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Also the rooftop gives a nice view and chance to relax and unwind at the hotel. Definitely planning on staying here again for my next trip.

Unbeatable location. Comfortable and nicely decorated rooms and lobby area. Welcoming staff and attentive to individual needs. Left suitcase with concierge after checkout, and when I picked it up later in the day, they returned it along with sunglasses I forgot in the room!

This is the best hotel we have stayed in during our extensive travels all over the world during the past 25 years. It is a beautiful old building which is meticulously maintained and kept spotlessly clean. The Staff is helpful, friendly and attentive. They also have a very good restaurant with prices the same or lower, than other restaurants in town. Location is perfect, two blocks from the Cathedral and Square and within walking distance of all the major attractions, markets and shopping. Rooms not facing the street are quiet and comfortable. We stayed seven nights and highly recommend Parador San Miguel as the place to stay in Oaxaca. It is also a great value!!

This hotel is located in the perfect location near the zocalo to be able to walk to just about anything in town. The hotel is clean and staff is friendly. Strong mini-split A/C units in each room. Beds a little firm for my taste, but comfortable.

Nice hotel, nice interior spaces, attached restaurant. Elevator not working on our visit.

This is a great little hotel and I absolutely loved staying here. I wanted to clarify as another reviewer mentioned concern for the birds in the courtyard. There is a sign posted that explains they are all rescued birds from local shelters and individuals who could no longer care for them, and that as they have lived as pets their entire lives, they may not survive in the wild if released now. The hotel provides them sanctuary and daily caretaking. If you would like to make a donation, you can even do so. Loved this place!

Impeccable, truly a gem in Oaxaca! Clean, well managed, and in an excellent location. The restaurant is great and the parking service is extremely helpful in the busy downtown traffic. Make sure to enjoy the shady rooftop patio which catches a nice breeze above the bustling streets. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the wifi worked well. We can't wait to return.

Had a lovely 5-night stay! Enjoyed staying in the beautiful king suite. Hotel was clean, spacious; strong WiFi for work; and loved the song birds in the courtyard. Staff was gracious, welcoming, and someone who spoke English was always nearby for non-Spanish speakers. Restaurant downstairs serves a delicious breakfast and lunch - good value. (Photos are accurate) I hope to come back soon!

The first thing that made me feel great about this hotel was its front doors, which were big, blue, and had hummingbirds. It felt good seeing them every time!

This hotel is so close to the Zocalo, but is also such a haven of peace once inside, with nice decorations, a library, comfortable places to sit and relax.

The hotel has friendly and helpful staff. The room was comfortable. There is free bottled water in the room.

Hotels staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms are a bit on the small side but they are very colorful and well kept. I'd stay here again the location is within walking distance from 2 indoor markets and various city attractions.

Lovely boutique hotel with friendly and attentive service, at remarkably reasonable rates (we visited in January 2020). Beautifully appointed public areas; not sure I've ever stayed at a hotel with such a beautiful hallway right outside our room, which was large and comfortable, large shower too (something lacking even at many higher-end hotels). If you don't want daily cleaning service be sure to specify at front desk; DND sign did not suffice.

Friendly people and very clean hotel. There is extra surface cleaning spray in case you need. They even gave me an umbrella when it started raining. It's very central but it's not noisy. I loved bird sounds.

A fantastic boutique hotel located within walking distance of all the major attractions in the colonial city of Oaxaca. The service at the hotel was tremendous, we utilize their airport pick up service, and their staff, restaurant, and housekeeping services were all very good. Choosing this hotel was one of the best parts of our stay in Oaxaca and I highly recommend it.

Incredible service! They go above and beyond for you to feel welcomed. The rooms are very clean. I have stayed here a few times as well as other hotels in the area; this place is for sure the best around!

I can't say enough good things about Hotel Boutique Parador San Miguel !!
The hotel is extremely clean. Each evening, the wipe down all surfaces and floors.
The room are appointed with high end soaps, shampoos etc.
They even have USB ports to charge your devices.

The front desk is operated by a very nice lady ; Damaris. She has helped me with unanticipated problems. Without her help, I would still be in Oaxaca. Lol.
* The only thing that I find in Mexico they go not serve complimentary coffee like all U.S. hotels do and with free breakfast. : (

We had a great stay here. The room was immaculately clean, the bed was amazing, and the shower and bathroom were perfect. I would highly recommend this place to any travelers.

If I ever come to Oaxaca again, I am going to stay here again. I loved the service here beginning to end. It is close to the Zócalo and markets. The breakfast that was included was good.
