Hotel Victoria

We had an amazing stay at your hotel. All the staff were so helpful and friendly, they were always smiling which was lovely. The hotel location & views are amazing. The breakfast was better than we ever could have imagined. I am vegan so I find it difficult eating in restaurants however there were so many options for me- fresh fruit, cereals with a varitety of seeds, a wide range of 4 different types of dairy free milk (soya, oat, rice, almond)! The coffee was the best we have had and again it was amazing to have the choice of dairy free milks for the coffee.
We planned to do many days out in the local area but the hotel was so nice that we spend most of our stay relaxing by the pool or beach! Thank you so much for memories that will last a lifetime

My favorite place to stay in Oaxaca. The food here is amazing. The location as view is great! And the pool 💜 also, they always have some deals when booking 😆

The hotel is up on a hill so there's a lot of walking involved in order to get to the town area. However, at night and in the morning the view of Oaxaca is fantastic. This is a pricier hotel, if you want a resort experience.

This is a really great place. Some of described it like an old refined lady and I would agree. The grounds are super clean. The staff is very nice and service oriented. The grounds and pool are beautiful. It separated from the center of Oaxaca just a little bit so it’s not noisy, and very relaxing, especially in the hot afternoons to take a break from touring the city. It’s a little dated, but it gives a charm I think.

Spent the week here while on a bike tour. Very friendly and helpful staff, good food and comfortable beds.

We love that this hotel is just outside the hustle and bustle of the city. It has lovely grounds and great views of Oaxaca. The stadium is on the same hill, which people hike up to for the view, which I get from my room.
There's an hourly shuttle to the Zocolo, or it's only $3-4 for a taxi.

i went for my 50th birthday, Sept. 2022. The property was beautiful for my photoshoot, the location was near all of the downtown excitement, Taxis were easy to get , the food was great day and evening. Our room had an amazing view, it was clean and what we needed for the week we were there. Most of all the fee was very fair and i was happy most spoke English. We will be going again and staying there!

We went back to this hotel after 12 years. It really felt like coming back home. The hotel is cozy and the views from the room and terrace always breathtaking.

The staff is incredibly friendly, both front desk and restaurant.

This hotel was obviously a big deal in it's hay day. Now everything is a little bit dated, a little bit worn but everything was in working order and very clean.

The king sized bed had 3 pillows, moderate softness, same with the mattress and there was an extra blanket and pillow in the closet.

The room had large window that unfortunately overlooked the parking lot, but with the window and drapes closed it was extremely quiet and no waking up with the sun.
There is low pile carpet, so your feet aren't freezing on tile floors.
The tub is ginormous! Long and deep with plenty of hot water available. The bathroom is not as quiet as the window was directly over the entrance but it didn't bother us and seems like it would be exclusive to this room.
The grounds are beautiful and spacious, hardly felt like we were in the City. We did not get to the pool, but it looks lovely. Lots of parking, even for our large van.
The room service menu was very limited, but it's easy to have food delivered.
There are hourly shuttles to Centro. The price was fantastic for the hotel and we'll definitely be back.

Employees work for the cartel we were held hostage for 16hr don't go there!!!

I had a very pleasant stay of five nights at Hotel Victoria. The hotel staff couldn’t have been nicer and everyone at the front desk spoke near-fluent English.

While located just outside of the city center, the hotel offers shuttles there and a cab costs only $2.50.

The quality of the food and cleanliness of the rooms were also favorable.

The hotel grounds are very peaceful, with a large swimming pool and a lot of greenery. There are also some beautiful views, including from many of the rooms.

Overall, a great value and a good balance between a peaceful resort vibe and proximity to the city center. Probably the best option in the area if you’re staying for at least a few nights.

A Grand Old Lady. Comfortable beds. Attractive and efficient house keeping. Lovely ground and views of the city. A convenient restaurant and bar. I walked the short distance to Centro. Had lunch. Then took a taxi ($50MX) back to the hotel. MY price to value rating 90%.

We stayed at this hotel as it was central to everything in Oaxaca. My husband had stayed here about three years ago. Some of the staff could speak English that helped me a lot. The staff at the restaurant- Ebanton, Mauricio, Iszrael & few others that I can’t remember their names were very helpful. Ebanton always greeted us no matter whether he was taking care of our table. The housekeeping was excellent- she was very helpful with water bottles for us. The hotel itself wasn’t that up to date but the people in it were very kind & hospitable. Thank you to the staff & that is why I rated it 5- the people who work at the hotel. Cheers from a Canadian traveller 🇨🇦❤😃

If you’ve ever seen the movie “grand Budapest hotel” it’s kinda like that. Some people might think it’s a bit of a run down dinosaur of a hotel, but that’s what i loved about it. Certainly an eclectic experience. And cold drinks by the Pool on a hot day is hard to beat.

We loved our stay here. The staff were extremely helpful. Our room had a great view and was really nice. Breakfast wasn't included, but the restaurant downstairs had an absolutely AMAZING breakfast buffet. Highly recommend. Loved our stay here.

Our experience with Hotel Victoria was an exceptional Blessing, from point and persons of arrival to the moment we said goodbye. Warm Hearts with smiling and helpful Attitudes throughput our stay, especially the reception counter. Laura went out of her way to help and give directions that truly made a difference on our daily plans . Service and attentive attitude that is seldom seen in hotels. We highly recommend Victoria Hotel as a place of comfort, Peace and care to everyone visiting Oxaca. We will stay at this Hotel when visiting Oaxaca. Try the tuna on toast sandwich!

We stayed in room 803, amazing views. Service is great, only one downside, water. Be sure to get coffee and water. Hotel charges for it. Downtown is a short 20 minute walk to most attractions and restaurants. I would recommend!

This is the first night. Room, restaurant and service, good so far. We are on the 700's, rooms above us have better view of the city. Housekeeping did a relly good job cleaning the room today. Superior rooms are very spacious we are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 girls. Room has 2 double beds and a kind of sofabed for one person.

This hotel was very nice! Neat Mexican charm, good food and wonderful views of Oaxaca! The staff was very nice and professional as well! I had an excellent time during my stay here.

An awesome place. Its a a very nice mix between modern and traditional. The breakfast at "El tule" restaurant its so tasty. The rooms are very comfortable and you feel like home because they're separated. I'll return and recommend it. The place its so quiet and we enjoyed a lot.
