Olivia Mediterranean Dinner

Olivia’s is a must when visiting Isla Mujeres. It has a transformative feel as once in the dining area the ambiance is amazing and you can forget you’re on a side street on the north end. This can be a very romantic vibe or a fun time for a large group at the back corner table.
The food is really great. We enjoy the Greek and Moroccan tapas as they do let you substitute amongst the different dishes. The warm pita with Baba ganoush and tabbouleh are amazing. There are many entree options but their Falafel wrap or plate are the best we have ever eaten.
The staff match the terrific ambiance and are very warm and welcoming.
We go to Olivia multiple times on every trip to Isla Mujeres.

Wonderful Mediterranean food on Isla Mujeres. I ordered the delicious vegetarian falafel bowl that came with hummus, falafel, warm pitas, tomato and cucumber salad, and cabbage salad. Wonderful and big portion, plenty of food. They many meat dishes as well. Service is great and I was greeted by one of the owners. Wonderful atmosphere!

Really wasn’t expecting to eat Mediterranean food in Mexico but this place is definitely a must. CASH ONLY. Food was amazing. Everything we ate we enjoyed and the atmosphere is serene. It is off of Hidalgo, so it is not as busy as the ones on the Main Street don’t be fooled though. Hidden gem.

I loved being able to find a little peice of Morocco here! The Bastilla was very good!

Really incredible Mediterranean food on the island! I think this was my favorite meal during our stay. The service is very attentive and personal but they gave us enough space to enjoy our company together. We shared all the dishes we ordered and nothing was too heavy. Tons of flavor and such a nice break from so much Mexican food (if there is ever such a thing!)

Incredibly cute place on the island that makes the best bread and dips. Do not miss it if you are on the island. Alejandro was an amazing server and even let me practice my admittedly poor Spanish. Such a great place.

What a fantastic surprise! My wife and I found this gem tucked away on a side street in Centro. A coworker recommended Olivia's, and are we ever glad we found them!

They have off-street dining, a romantic atmosphere, and great Mediterranean cuisine! This place was good enough to warrant a return trip a few days later before we left to go home.

We had their Moroccan tapas, Spanikopita, Moroccan stewed fish, and of course the baklava. The second time we had the taziki, and the chicken skewers. All were excellent, I really doubt you could go wrong with anything on the menu!

Have fond memories of our first visit here in 2012 and got to repeat the same great experience. Cozy, romantic, walled garden with thatched roof canopies setting with a fantastic relaxing music soundtrack from the 80s and 90s. Beautiful greenery and lighting. Everything delicious. Their hummus is to die for. Falafel the best ever. Liked the chicken skewer better than the beef. One appetizer, two drinks, two mains for $53 (1,060 pesos) is a lovely deal. Great wait staff also, very sincere. Make reservations in advance. Two seatings a night. One of our favorites on Isla.

I always have a phenomenal experience here. For home cooked meals made from family recipes, an ambiance that is warm and feels like a retreat from the busy streets, and intimacy for special occasions or a casual bite to eat-this is your spot.

The food is well sourced and wholesome, portions are generous, and prices are very reasonable.

Truly my favorite restaurant on the island for its warm vibe, beautiful food, and gorgeous atmosphere.

The staff are amazing and you must have an espresso martini!

Very cool place, very different which is nice. It was a little strange not to see rice on the menu of a Mediterranean restaurant but regardless the food was great.

The absolute best dinner on the island. The ambiance is amazing and the service was impeccable. It is the only restaurant I will eat lamb chops at...even better than in the states. . I met one of the owners Liore and she is a beautiful spirit. I can't wait to go back.

A great meal and experience overall! The ambiance was beautiful and quiet. The food was great! It ended up being a little on the pricey side compared to other places we went to on the island, but worth it in my opinion. We would definitely eat here again!

Gorgeous ambiance. Pretty lights and lots of greenery. Incredible service and amazing food. I’ll dream about the flavors of the chicken and olives dish. Chicken was so juicy and tender it fel off the bone. Shawarma bowl and white bean salad lovely as well. Quick response for reservations request. Fantastic owners!

We had the chicken kebab and short rib. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Hummus to die for, refreshing to try something different in the area! Note: it’s cash only!

Wonderful dinner. We had Tapas Marroqui to start which was so so good. Fell in love with the Matbuha (Matbucha?/need to find a recipe) and great baba ganoush.We also had the short ribs and olive chicken. Both were excellent but I'd pick the olive chicken over the short ribs. Wait staff was attentive without being over bearing. Another great place to eat on the island.

Have been coming here since it opened. Always excellent! Every time we come back to Isla, we have to make a stop for dinner! Great service, delicious food.
