Tiny Gecko Bar

If I had to name One bar that is my favorite on the Isla, it would be this bar. It's small, locals, Great service and the view is literally unbeatable. Locals and transplants all play the stage and make sure the locals have fun. Do yourself a favor, go here. Have a rum & coke, have a beer and tequila. Enjoy and sing along!!!

One of my favorite bars on the island. Great to spend an afternoon listening to and watching the waves. Good food and great alcohol prices. Frequent live music. Definitely check it out!

I recommend coming when weather is nice so you can enjoy outside seating as the inside is very small. On a nice sunny day when not too windy it's beautiful!

Stopped here just for drinks but the views are perfect, service friendly, and the best margarita we found on the island.

Had lunch here twice food was fabulous. Service was excellent prices were decent.

Wonderful bar with live music on facing the water. Drinks are inexpensive and wonderful. Wait staff are quick but will not rush you if you’re just there to listen to music. We visited every night during our Isla stay. Highly recommend. P.s. try the coconut shrimp…it’s amazing.

The ocean breeze, beautiful views, and live music can't be beat! Not to mention the wonderful service, drinks, and delicious food! I really enjoyed the shrimp tacos, and my husband said the chicken tacos were on point. We're looking forward to our next visit!

Oh yes! Little bar serving good drinks and good food. Lobster tacos, BIG coconut shrimp, steak kabobs. Four of us had dinner for about 90.00 with drinks and tip. Right on the seawall with great view. Band starts at 8.

The Tiny Gecko isn't tiny on personality, and is easily among the best bars on the island. Set far off of the tourist strip, this local dive is also perfect if you want an ocean view with your lunch or dinner without the chaos of the overpriced beach bars found elsewhere in Centro. You wouldn't think to look at it, but the food was easily in the top three meals we had in our week on Isla. Lobster tacos, their signature quesadilla, and all of our cocktails were absolutely killer in every way. A chill late night vibe with nightly live music, friendly and fast service, and is actually reasonably priced. Yes you just found your new favorite local Mexican spot when on the island. I know I sure as heck did.

Great drinks on the promenade with beautiful sea views and live music, the coolest place on the island!

We came here twice during our stay on Izla Mujeres and both times was excellent! Very reasonably priced and good food and drinks! We definitely recommend and will be back next time we're on the island.

Great Corner bar at the bend in Miguel Hildalgo on Isla Mujeres. I had several fun nights here with the live music and then found out they have a great menu: Civeche, Shishkabobs, shrimp and fish. I had the beef kabob, it was fantastic and the salad was just super tasty, no idea what the ingredients were that made it so good. Right next to Suenos De Marfil (also reviewed)

Great live music! The band was fantastic, especially the harmonica music. I think they are there most nights from 9-10:30. The staff was so nice. I can't have alcohol right now so I went with their first suggestion of a Limonada. It waa delicious. My husband had beer and tequila. They also have mixed drinks that looked really good. Next time hopefully I can have one. We will be back here if we are back on this island. Such a fun night between dancing and sitting on the sea wall next to the ocean and enjoying the music, drinks, and beautiful night air.

Live music and a real lady with a bookstore that has a noble goal of helping children.

Of all the bars on the island that is is a must stop. Atmosphere is awesome and a great spot to look at the ocean.

We love this little hidden gem on the Malecon. Service is fantastic and a great view! A place to relax and have some fun. Food is delicious while the prices are reasonable!

The food, location, atmosphere were all excellent.
The staff was so helpful, friendly, and everything came out on time.
Food was so delicious, and big portions.
Fish and shrimp ceviche, fish tacos, and tikin xik fish fillet were so good.
We will definitely come back.

The view is amazing! We ordered an appetizer of their tamarindo chipotle wings and they were AWESOME!! A little spicy, but my boyfriend absolutely hates spice and he thought they were perfect! We ordered shrimp and chicken tacos and they were awesome! The quac was perfect! And the pico had a subtle taste of lime. We will definitely be returning!

Tiny Gecko Bar has a nice atmosphere. Awesome view with a nice breeze. Fair prices. I recommend the chicken tacos.
