Very nice comfortable clean rooms, plenty of space. Walk a few steps across the street and you are at a most beautiful Caribbean beach.

Perfect location. Include sunbeds on the beach which is quite nice and give you a more private feeling staying a bit away from all the tourists.

Amazing hotel! It is very convenient and close to everything. The beach is gorgeous and so clean. They even have sofas at the beach that you can lay on. Breakfast is absolutely delicious and customer service is excellent. The jacuzzi and swimming pool is a very nice place to hang out at in the evening. We will definitely stay again!!

The location and atmosphere are amazing. The staff is so nice and helpful. The breakfast, drinks and staff at the beach club were so wonderful. We could not have had a better birthday experience than Na Balam and Isla Mujeres. Recommend above any other place.

My entire extended family stayed at Na Balam and its sister hotel Guru Beach Club for my brother-in-law's wedding in August 2021. It was my family's second time staying at Na Balam.
I cannot say enough kind words about the entire staff, the hotel itself and the location. We weathered a hurricane the first few days, lost power, had a hurricane party in the lobby and were looked after by the hotel staff the entire time.
As the weather cleared to the beautiful sunshine, the real party started. We spent a week having arguably the best holiday I have ever had, made possible by the exceptional staff who became friends with our entire group and an integral part of the wedding celebrations.
The staff looked out for my two young children, were always available if we needed anything and brought a super relaxed and chill vibe to the entire week.

Both hotels epitomize what boutique hotels can be. A friendly, personal, genuinely easy and welcoming experience in a beautiful place with exceptional people.

All 30+ of us felt the same way upon leaving. How do we marry off another brother so we can come back and do another week in paradise...

Great hotel, very cute, very close to beach and not far from town centre. Nice quiet road, except of Friday and Saturday night when the beach clubs party to 3am, the sound blasts through the thatch roof. Can be a bit disturbing. Great breakfast included at the beach club.

This is the hotel you want!! The tranquil atmosphere and perfect location were what originally attracted us to Na Balam. It did NOT disappoint!!! The staff was so kind and our room was perfectly cleaned every day! The grounds/garden make you feel like you are staying in a peaceful and exotic private corner of the island. Just around the corner is Playa Norte! Our stay included a daily complimentary hearty breakfast and beach beds! Tree House Yoga (also on the property) is magical. The classes were incredible- peaceful, calming and transformative. We will absolutely be back!

Just a few steps to the beach and a nice little pool and hot tub. The attached outdoor restaurant and bar serves good food with great service, and serves food and drinks right to you on the beach as well. The advertised breakfast is not complimentary (which we didn't expect anyway) and is buffet-style (you're better off heading to one of many extremely convenient, fantastic breakfast places nearby). Our group had a 2-bedroom suite and a single room, all of which were lovely and comfortable. The single room was very, very dark, as was the shower in the suite's master bedroom (way too dark to shave!). The single room was charming, like a treehouse 💖. The suite was a great price for the size (it is quite echo-y!) and had a full kitchen w/ fridge and freezer perfect for stashing leftovers and bottled water, a private outdoor area w/ daybed, clothesline (a HUGE plus since it's so humid on Isla your swimsuits will mildew quickly otherwise), and regularly sunning iguanas💖. There are also friendly, well-cared-for neighborhood kitties that know the staff and liked to snooze in the shade by our suite. Overall we loved it !

Nice hotel close to Playa Norte beach. They have sun beds at the beach for guests to use. Staff friendly and helpful.

We had a great time on our girls trip! There were 6 of us. Our suite was on the beach-side only steps to the restaurant and the ocean! The suite was updated and beautiful. A/C only in the bedrooms but wasn't bad. The beach was not too crowded but many small boats and yachts anchor in the calm waters there. There was loud music playing until 10PM daily (as others have said) and this did take away from all the sounds of nature. The Hotel restaurant was good but priced higher than the other local restaurants. Our group went to Bally Hoo for dinner one night. I unfortunately got food poisoning!!! I ordered the portobello and vegetable meal with rice. The next day the rest of the group went out while I had to stay in my room. Our suite attendant Felipa came to service the room while I was there and was the sweetest person! She did not speak English nor I Spanish but she showed immediate concern for me. She actually returned later that day and went into the surrounding areas with 2 of our group picking lemongrass and mint. She brought it back to our room and made me a tea. It was delicious! I would definitely recommend staying here!

Last year my 4 sisters and I stayed here at Na Balam. We loved our space and had a great time. It was clean, comfortable and peaceful. The location is close to the beach, in walking distance to nice restaurants, street vendors and shops.
A couple of weeks ago, I returned to Isla. I'm picky about massages and as a rule, I don't allow just anyone to work on me. I decided to take a chance and got an excellent massage from a woman named Xachi. She is strong and knows her anatomy. More importantly, she works from her heart and sees with her hands. Another beautiful person on Isla. 💖

Hotel Na Balam is a little piece of heaven on Isla Mujeres. We stayed there last weekend and it was even better than we could have imagined it to be from our first time seeing the property in December. Part of a trifecta of hotels on Playa Norte, Na Balam is quaint and relaxing. Feels more like you are in the jungle than a stone's throw away from the beach. Being connected with the two neighboring properties allows for access to a plethora of amenities. The staff is wonderful, helpful and kind. And Maha Shanti School of Yoga is on property, right above the main area. That is an amazing bonus for anyone looking to start, continue, or advance their practice. Lal is The Best! We cannot wait to come back to Na Balam. Mil gracias por ser genial, Na Balam y Maha Shanti! :)

Great hotel located on the north beach of the island (most people say that is the best beach and we think that too), staff is extremely helpful, big rooms , good pool with beds, whirlpool, spa, yoga classes and the best: you get free entrance to the beach club in front of the hotel, including beach beds and sombrilla.

We loved it! amazing beach and the hotel is super clean and quiet, no phone or TV so we could forget of the world, walking distance to everything, look for colored fish under the wooden bridge close to the rocks
you can hear the waves at night, their food and bar get a 100%, amazing staff, friendly and polite. We'll be back.

We did not stay at Na Balam while visiting the Island but had friends that did so we ate breakfast here every morning and laid out on the beach in front. The staff were super hospitable and friendly. If we return, we will definitely stay here for the amenities-- free breakfast and beach beds!

Nice hotel on a great island with awesome beaches. There are historic sites and parks, too. Easy to walk downtown from this hotel. No TV in the rooms but one does not go to Isla Mujeres to watch television.

The rooms were very clean great service . Had a great massage right next to pool. Short walk to town and ferry. We did rent golf cart. Best beach great views. Very relaxing 😎

At first glance, Na Balam is nothing special. Hidden behind a wall and hedge, you can't see much of the place. Step into the courtyard, though, and you'll see that the place is a real gem. Two restaurants, the best beach on the island, fantastic service, friendly staff, clean, bright rooms at very good prices, and just the right distance from downtown to get a good night's sleep, a couple of short walks a day, and all the relaxation you want.
