Ppe's Rental

We showed up at Ppe's Rental without a reservation and without a driver's license (oops). They did take the identification that we had on hand and rented us a golf cart. Cart was in very good condition and had no issues. Our cart was pretty quick as well, we were able to pass a lot of other carts on the longer roads to the south part of the island.

Rates were higher than other reviews showed. It is now about $100USD to rent for a day. No surprises, no extra fees, no hassles. Good place to rent from. Next time we would probably grab lunch before renting as parking in that area of town is next to impossible on a normal day.

Pepe’s was a great place to rent from. The cart was gassed up, clean and in good shape, It’s a great way to see the island and get yourself around at your own pace. We had a couple minor issues and they were quick to resolve both of them. All the employees were polite and helpful. We rented for four days and will go there again when we are in Isla.

I stopped in New Year’s Eve during the day looking to rent a golf cart to rent to see the island. Most places on the island were sold out. They had one left I could use for the day. They were super nice, told me all the sights to see and the price was fair. The cart ran well and was in good condition. I would recommend them to you without any concerns.

After we were stood up delivering a golf cart to the ferry when we arrived (thanks again) and waiting for almost 2 hours we decided to go for another company. So we ended up at Ppes, booked a golf cart for 3 days and had no problem whatsoever. The golf cart worked absolutely fine, a quick stop at their shop filling up gas on the second evening was super easy (actually we were there later as it said they were open on Google - around 7ish pm - and were still served. The people were nice and the price we found was a solid mid-range. We’d rent there again.

Best rental for golf carts on the island. They were SO lovely which was refreshing and did us a fair deal.
Highly recommend when you’re in Isla mujeres

Hands down the best golf cart rental place on the island. We tried out both their golf carts and mopeds and both seemed brand new and ran flawlessly. The people are SO friendly - they went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure we were happy. We kept coming back each day to tack on another day, and they would fill us up with gas and offer to clean our car.

I would ONLY go to Pepe’s rental. Don’t waste your time on the cheaper alternatives. Pepe’s is well worth it - and right in the center of town, too!

We’ll be back every time :)

Was looking for a golf cart to explore the island. Most of the other places charge about 300 pesos more than this place. I rented the cart for 2hrs and it came out to 700 pesos. Didn’t have a problem with the golf cart. 2 hrs was enough time to explore the island and stop a couple of times.

Easy to pick up and return, think it was $80 for the day. No issues. Although the cart seemed old and breaks didn't seem to work properly.

Nice staff and fast golf cart. Explained how to manage.The price and conditions are better than in other places. I liked this place, I recommend it.

Seemed like all prices on the island were standard, but Ppes extended our reservation another 30min which was nice. Our cart was literally the fastest and was passing everyone. No issues. Good service.

Best Golf Carts on the Island. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our Cart was by far the fastest, best kept cart on the island. We blew past every other cart and those Golf carts were falling apart pieces of junk

Very easy to work with and competitive prices. Bring pesos or dollars to pay, as using a credit card charges more.

Great service, Decent price. Would rent from them again

We booked on line which was very simple. The cart we got was awesome. Purple with yellow flames! Made it unique amongst a sea of beige carts. It was a bit under-powered but just made us abide by island-time :-) Having gas included was great. And the return process was a breeze.

People were very helpful. Carts ran well and had no issues going around entire island.

We weren’t sure where to rent our golf cart from. We looked at a few places and read some articles online and ended up going with Ppe’s. We purchased the rental on our ferry trip over, which was a cheaper option than renting it at the location. The rental process was easy and we were quickly on our way touring Isla Mujeres. After about an hour driving around and enjoying the sites, we went to start our cart and only got a faint whirring sound and no sign of an engine turnover. We tried to troubleshoot the issue, but our golf cart knowledge was pretty limited. We tried calling Ppe’s several times, but there was no answer on the end of the line. We were able to grab a ride with some tourists who dropped us off at a local hotel. The staff at the hotel also tried to contact Ppe’s but had no luck. After some lunch and a few drinks, we snagged a cab back to the rental site. We were a little worried after reading other reviews from people with the same issue. When we arrived, they were very apologetic for not answering the phone and offered us another cart or a full refund. We took the refund since we felt like we had enjoyed enough of the island and caught the next ferry back. We would recommend Ppe’s to anyone visiting the island in the future.

The scooter was perfect, the employees were wonderful, and I had a great experience. I would definitely use Ppe’s again. I rented for the day and it took much less time for me to go around the island and they were nice enough to only charge me for the time I used.
I paid my bill, and accidentally left my Driver’s License there. I was a block or two down the street and here came Freddy with my License. How’s that for Customer Service? Hard to find in the US let alone Mexico. I was blown away by the employees, Freddy was awesome!

Very easy to work with and a great deal. The cart worked well and was well maintained. Will definitely use these folks again!

We rented here based on a recommendation from a local. They were open before 9 am and their ‘all day’ rental goes to 7 pm, longer than most other places. The golf cart was newer, had no trouble with it at all!! Rental was a bit more (1000p), but the peace of mind was worth it. Definitely recommend.

The BEST golf cart rental on the island. Save yourself the headache and rent from Pepe’s. The staff is so kind and the golf carts are well maintained. Such an important piece of our Isla Mujeres vacation and it was seamless.
