The service and communication I received from Maria Lima put this experience over the top. Working with her I was able to custom tailor my experience. The room was great, the location was excellent, the ease of renting a golf cart, the access to island information, it was all great. The breakfast is quite simple but appreciated. The grounds are a well-kept jungle of tropical plants, fruits, flowers galore. A cute little reading nook with books and complimentary filtered water was a very nice touch. Again, Maria Lima was the shining facet of this gem.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best thing this hotel has to offer is the location. I stayed in a “castle room” with a balcony that was inches away from the best beach on Isla Mujeres. Sunsets views over the ocean from my balcony and being a few blocks away from the nightlife made this hotel ideal for me.

Rooms are really dated which I was aware of. But we had hot and cold running water, a fridge that worked, and a bed to sleep in (even they all were not top of the line). The balcony was great and the pool was nice. However the location was key on this resort. The continental breakfast was coffee, orange juice and 2 pieces of toast and that was all we needed.

Very close to Playa Norte, the best beach in Mexico that we have experienced.

Large clean room with a comfy king size bed. Fridge and safe available. Nice little balcony with a glimpse of north beach. The hotel itself has a pool but I never went in because of the beach right there. The breakfast included is pretty underwhelming, just a bit of toast and jam coffee and juice.. considering most hostels offer that or better. Location is unbeatable though. Would stay again.

I really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It has such a beautiful garden throughout the property which makes it a nice walk to your room when you’re getting there. The north beach is literally walking distance from the hotel which we really appreciated. Here are a few pictures of the beach which is the most beautiful one I’ve ever been to so far! We had a rough night when we first arrived because we found little insects next to the bed we were going to sleep in. However, when we called the front office to let them know they automatically offered us another room down the hall which was very clean and they made sure before we entered. I would’ve giving this hotel a lower rating but because of the way they handled the situation I am giving them a five star rating. The room is simple, has the basics and is comfortable if all you’re doing is sleeping here but also has a nice little patio where you can enjoy and have coffee in the mornings. We enjoyed the location because of how close it was to the beach and food and they also offer golf carts to rent with them which is convenient. The best part is that that beach never has sargassum year round! We ended up staying two weekends here with family the first time and friends the second, we came from Playa Del Carmen. I would definitely stay here again the next time I come to isla mujeres because if the pricing, location, and service.

Before I begin my post I should preface with the fact that I am a cheap traveler. I do not spend a lot of money on fancy accommodations. I look for CLEAN and affordable- not the most updated rooms.

If you like to travel like that, then this is the place!!!
Rooms are so well priced, especially if you snag a deal online! They are small, cute, clean, the AC works amazing and they feel like you're immersed in the culture.

Other people have said you can hear noise in the morning w the cleaning crew, and this is correct. However, I was up early every morning and it didn't bother me.

The beach is literally outside your doorstep. The first time I stayed here, I went completely alone, stayed for a week and on the second floor. I never had any issues with the locals or the tourist. It was very safe.

The hotel is located at the north beach and is about is about a 10-15 minute walk from the ferry. So if you want to save some cash, skip the taxi and walk there. You can stop and get a drink or bite to eat before check in.

The staff is also very nice. I've never had any issues. However, I'm a firm believer that if you are nice to begin with, others will be nice back. Just use common sense when in other country.

All the rooms come with a safe, which came in very handy.

Honestly, I love staying here and this will always be my first choice. It's in a quite location and near the water.

Great for the price. Clean and the a/c works good. Beds were comfortable. And beach is literally steps outside your building.

Great place. Very cute small hotel. I will choose it over a big and modern place. Very cozy and 1 minute in walking to a Playa Norte, which is the most amazing beach ever. The stuff is really great. Our stay was awesome. The AC was working very well, and the rooms where cleaned every day. There is a safe box here free to use but there is no iron in the room. But u can ask for it at the front desk. Our check out was at 12 noon, but we left our bags till 2pm. Which was very convenient for us. Love this place a lot, will be back soon

Great hotel spot right by the beach and within close walking distance to Hidalgo street on the island. We’ve stayed there twice now and each time has been great. It is always cleaned throughly every day and there is great staff there. There are hammocks, beautiful flowers, & a pool also.

are rooms where nice the property was beautiful the pool was small but with plenty of hammocks to relax in the ocean being just out side the door was great the staff friendly and helpful. this hotel was great for the way we travel a nice bed to sleep in great AC and i think it had a TV but i did not use it i spent my time in there sleeping or sitting on the balcony waiting to head out. there is no WIFI in you're room some might not like this but the beach restaurant dose have it and a simple breakfast and coffee is free. they have water coolers on every level to fill your bottles or camel pack with, shopping and dining are just blocks away and the port a short walk

We stayed three nights last month. The place was GREAT! We had a second floor room overlooking the pool. 1 minute walk to the beach and their restaurant/bar (Buho's) We paid $114 plus tax. The room was basic but clean and had a fridge. It was a great value. Cart rentals right at the front desk.

If you want a hotel right by the gorgeous Playa Norte and you want to eat breakfast on the beach every morning, then this is the place for you! Stay in the cabañas and you get a nice private balcony. There is also a pool and the hotel is close to restaurants and shopping. There is even a water tank to refill your water bottle before hitting the beach. The AC was nice and cool and the people are so friendly.

We loved the location on the pristine north beach.  Each day it was just steps away to the beach and water.  We stayed in the towers section on the second floor, with a little bit of a view of the ocean from our balcony.  If we returned we would probably choose a first floor room for ease of coming and going to the beach (though privacy may be sacrificed).  Don't expect luxury from this hotel - maybe closer to motel standards in north america!  Our room was adequte with comfortable beds.  Toast, juice and coffee breakfast were included.  Pool and hammocks around the pool looked beautiful....though we spent all our time at the beach.  Filtered water was available to refill water bottles.  Quite a number of table and chairs set up throughout the property - nice place to eat a meal on a rainy day.  Gardens around the pool were BEAUTIFUL - obviously a lot of TLC put into these.  Beach loungers and umbrellas were available for use just steps away for 90 pesos per item - a great deal since you can bring your own beverages and food.Tons of shade was available all along this stretch as the property was lined with palm trees - so we opted to just lay out a blanket on the beach most days.  This part of the beach had less beach chairs and umbrellas set up....a little less dense crowds during our stay compared to other parts of the beach.

A quick walk to shops and a number of really good restaurants nearby.  Two that stood out for us were Rubens and Chachacha Gourmet Garden.  Novice level snorkelling just a few minutes walk away behind Mia hotel where the tide pools gather - tons of fish in the shallow waters!

We found the hotel and food prices much more affordable than Playa del Carmen or Tulum....and water was CRAZY amazing!  The island's relaxed laid back charm will beckon us to return....and we would 100% choose to stay at this hotel again!

I change this to five stars because it had everything we needed and everything was clean and nice and the people that work there was super friendly. And how can you go wrong with a pink front? 🤗. They have a beautifully maintained garden.

Awesome location, steps to Playa Norta couple of blocks for the main shopping and fooderies, beautiful court yard with a small splash pool for the kids. Very clean and great staff. Highly recommended.

Great price. Great location on the best part of the beach. Not really beach view, but just a few steps and you are there. Short walks to restaurants and shops.
