Super place to eat. Really friendly and autentic service. Not fancy, tho quality of food is excellent. For dinner and breakfast for me best restaurant i visited in 3 weeks Mexico.

For breakfast i recommend huevos motuleños

Awesome service and fantastic food. We went here for breakfast, which was good but our friends told us to go back and try their Salt Fish. You have to order it a day in advance. Basically the cover the fish (choice of Red Snapper or Grouper) and then they bake it. Amazing. Not salty at all and with the rosmary butter sauce they provide - delicious.

The Best food on the main Street on Isla Mujeres. No doubt. Try Fish Taco and Vegetable Soup. Enjoy.

Yay! There are so many things great about this restaurant. Food is very good. They open early if you are looking for a breakfast place. They take VISA. I had the ‘Huevos Mutuleños’ and it was amazing. The coffee was really good too!

CHILES RELLENOS - we had the Chiles Rellenos to share and immediately wished I’d ordered a separate one for myself. The pepper was a stuffed to the brim with tender chicken smothered with cheese. Surrounded in a lush mole sauce with smooth black beans and rice. The dish was Mexican perfection. The pico de gallo had the freshest ingredients and the right amount of spice! I want more! Next time-all to myself. Highly recommend!

Shrimp ceviche on point, coconut shrimp and arrachera tampiquena were both hot, fresh, and delish, modelo's ice effing cold service prompt, polite, and efficient

The best nachos I ever had! Yum yum! Try their fresh orange juice!

Ate here 3 to 4 times on our latest trip and have been coming here for years. They have the freshest and delicious salsas and food. We eat here for breakfast and dinner! It never disappoints!!

This is a great spot for authentic Mexican food and the prices are very reasonable. It’s not flashy, so you may have to look a little harder to find it, but the food is spectacular. We had chicken tacos and beef tacos, pico is spicy and very tasty.

I have ate a-lot of Mexican food in my lifetime. But Los Amigos is to dream of

Really good local restaurant with great cooking in the heart of Hidalgo St. The fish cooked in salt is a real treat. My wife and I ordered it a day ahead — this week — and it was wonderful with the included broccoli, cauliflower and buttery noodles. Another table was also enjoying 3 salt fish at their large table!

We’ll be back next year and encourage others to give them a try when browsing Hidalgo St. restaurants!
Really anything you order will be delicious.
It’s cash only but that was just fine with us as we always live in pesos when on Isla!

Served one of best Chile Rellenos stuffed with excellent chicken and cheese and served with a fresh garlic flatbread? Pita? Don’t walk by this one for all the glitzy places on this street!

The steak and the coconut shrimp were AMAZING!!! So tender and flavorful, no seasoning or salt was needed. All the veggies are cooked in the freshest oil and have a beautiful subtle flavor! Excellent!! Would reccomend! Also, friendly service.

Food and service was great, the owner spoke pretty good English to help us with our order, some of the other wait staff we had a harder time communicating with but they were very patient while we figured out what we were trying to say. We had the fish fillet and some fish tacos for dinner and both were excellent, also had the best margaritas we found on the island. Price was great for the food quality.

This was one of the first places I ate at a few years ago. I revisited it this evening and it was simply the best. A little hidden spot right on the main Avenue. I had the garlic shrimp. Cooked perfect and the staff was excellent. I'm having dinner tomorrow evening while h is my last night on the island. I'm getting my pizza before I leave.
