Green Verde

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on a walking tour. We were warmly welcomed by the staff. You can go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The dinner menu options are very interesting, we finally decided on a Tampiqueña and BBQ pork ribs. The dishes are prepared with homemade recipes. The owner is very attentive and mentioned that if we had any comments about the food we should not hesitate to mention them. We accompanied our dinner with delicious drinks, so don't hesitate to order one of the house cocktails.
The portions are good sized and more than enough per person.
Finally you have to leave some room so you can eat a flan that is amazing, the best flan I've ever eaten!

5 STARS ALL THE WAY. If we could give more we would. My wife and I both ate here twice over the course of a 4 day trip both for lunch and dinner, this place is amazing. Food incredible, the best mexican we have eaten and the service was amazing, family run business and you can tell. One day we will be back on Mujeres and we will be coming back here. Steak burritos, fish tacos for lunch and the prawn & sweet potato dish and enchiladas mole, oh and the guacamole for dinner all recommendations, unreal. The margaritas are so nice too. Thank you guys. 🫶🏻🤍

Incredible service. The waiters are fast and efficient. The food looks almost too good to eat. 5 stars, everytime.

The Frozen Mango, Pineapple, and Strawberry are must-try's. There is not one bad thing on the menu!

Delicious spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Everything was made fresh, including the juices. Highly recommend the 3 Mole Enchiladas and the Mango Chamoy smoothie.

I enjoyed my breakfast. The French Toast was cooked to perfection, and the fruit was nice and fresh. This was the first time I had eaten, or seen, a Star Fruit. It was good!
The best part was the owners dog. A playful 9 month old puppy who loved and greeted anyone who came close to her. I will definitely be back.

We stopped at Green Verde for breakfast on our last day in Isla, and honestly, I regret not stopping sooner! The service was great, and we loved the beautiful indoor/outdoor sitting area. My breakfast of fruit and pancakes was simple but delicious, and my husband said his beef tacos were yummy as well. Also, I had some of the best iced coffee that's I've had on Isla.

Another great find while exploring Isla Mujeres. We decided to rent a golf cart and do some full island exploration. Not only was the golf cart worth every Penny we spend for the daily rental, but we ran into this little location on our way east on the island.

The menu was incredible, with amazing smoothies (mango) and breakfast items. What a great place to get away from the busy touristy end, find a nice open air restaurant with friendly staff. It was perfect!

Great tasting authentic food. Either the ingredients were fresher than in other restaurants in the island, or their preparation and presentation methods were different. Either way, this one stood out for me after eating similar tacos and burritos for 2 weeks. Amazing service as well. The Horchata was delicious and as it’s a milky drink (rice and cinnamon I think) it goes well with spicy food. Good vibe as well.

Service is great and the food was amazing here I would recommend the tacos this place has to offer. This restaurant fits in with the island

Amazing Food and Super Friendly Staff!
While we recently stayed in Isla Mujeres, we discovered this amazing restaurant. I was a short hop from where we stayed, which made it even more convenient. Now to the restaurant we loved it! the staff is super friendly and happy to have you. I would say this is one place to put on your list if you are on the island, well even if you are in Cancun take the ferry across and get into this restaurant! Just to put how much we loved this place, we stayed for 6 days and ate here 5 times between lunch and dinners.
I would highly recommend the Tres Moles, Tequila Ribs(WOW!) Chicken Breast with Red Mole! Their margarita are awesome and the juices are so refreshing!

Right as you walk in, you fall in love with the atmosphere instantly! The decor is almost as amazing as the menu! The attention to detail for every plate ordered is outstanding. The green chips and the guacamole...by far the freshest i have ever tasted. Very friendly staff and the food is top notch. You will not be disappointed

Amazing atmosphere and superb service. Do yourself a favor and get the enchiladas with mole three ways — beef, pork, chicken with red, green and brown mole sauces. Deserts are also delicious.

The atmosphere is rustic and didn't fit with the perfect white plates and food presentation but that was good! It is one of the few places that opens before 10. We had a snorkeling trip planned and didn't have a lot of time to waste. It was very good.

Simply excellent in all ways! The staff is very attentive, food is excellent, they do breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and take credit cards as well as USD and obviously pesos.

We love amazing service, delicious food and good coffee for breakfast and this is what we got at Green Verde. We had the French toast which is nothing to write home about as it tasted very diner-ish. We could have done without it but it was still good. The best was a recommendation by Rafael for the Mexican burrito. One word - delish! This omelette turned burrito was so flavorful and the habanero sauce added to it.

The flan is outstanding. We had great service. The ambiance was really chill and beautiful. Try the ceviche and the mole. Overall easy to say a great choice for a chill dinner out of the busy downtown area.

We love their breakfasts! Hueveuos ranchersos is delish as well banana crepes. The egg white omelet with veggies is famous. Really great coffee as well.

The only inconsistency are tge rolls. They're a delicious roll served with butter and jam. Last year, when we're delivered upon ordering. This year, hit and miss. We ordered, other tables are delivered rolls. We ask and got them.

This visit, we ordered 3 entrees...no rolls. Other table got rolls. Not sure if the server just doesn't like us but we're friendly and tip well!

We've not tried dinner yet but certainly will. Plus, free wifi. Great place for a relaxing breakfast ...Great rolls, just ask!
