Café Mogagua

We really love this place. Our first morning in Isla Mujeres we were desperate for a cup of coffee after a long day of traveling the day before and this was the first place we saw. THANK GOODNESS. The coffee here is phenomenal!! The food is SO GOOD. I love the french toast, the fruit plate and the breakfast burrito. We will definitely be having breakfast here for the rest of our stay.

Nice place for breakfast! Verity of food and drinks. Food arrived pretty fast even it was crowded. Everything was delicious. The only things we didn’t like is the crave for higher tips, we felt a little uncomfortable when we chose to leave “only” 10% tip. When they give you the check there is a paper saying that 20% tip is for amazing service, 15% for excellent service and 10% is for good service. That was a little annoying. Also if you order a juice, ask for the little one, if not they just bring you the bigger one by default which is more expensive.

Great lunch spot, shaded so you keep cool on the hot days but open so get some fresh air.
Our waiter was amazing with the allergies, he checked with the kitchen to ale sure what they can accommodate and even made recommendations as to what to look out for when dining elsewhere.
The chicken burritos were also a huge hit!

After finding this place we can three times it's great breakfast. And the caramel latte are wonderful.. Employees are very sweet. You won't go wrong here. In anything you order.

Delicious veggies omelette .. the smoked salmon eggs Benedict was okay.. not that great. Drinks like the mango smoothie and the mango frappe were goood sweet. :) loveee the ambiance! Will be back 🤤🤤

Panlano enchiladas are savory and delightful. Chiliquiles red AND green sauce are fantastic!
Service was incredible and very accommodating. Ask for Giovanni. He was our server and was fantastic!

As a Canadian, I had to try the Pollo Azteca Poutine. Comes with sliced avocado on top and was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend it, especially if you're Canadian, and the atmosphere and location are perfect!

Ordered beef taco and Irish coffee. Perfectly cooked beef strips to medium well. Taco is fresh and crisp. Tourist price, but the atmosphere is friendly and chill as well. Spacious and cool space.

Great breakfast spot in downtown Isla Mujeres. It’s easy to find, just off Hidalgo but be prepared to wait for a table. This place is popular and with good reason. Delicious food, fast friendly service and reasonable prices. More $$ than Mango Cafe. Less $$ than Rooster. We will be back.

The place was fun and a great experience. It was hot and so we were outside, but that's part of the experience and to be expected. I loved all of the food and the green juice was delicious. Service was great.

Visited for coffee and went back for dinner. The vibe here is great! I had chicken tacos that were delicious and thought the tostones were amazing. The highlight for me was the Cadillac tamarind drink. I had to get a second one! Service is friendly and island casual pace.

The best breakfast burrito you’ll ever eat😋 got bacon and chorizo and it was to die for. Also way too big to finish, could probably share if you wanted and get something else to share like pancakes or smoothie bowl! Also loved the fresh squeezed OJ. We went here twice during our stay and ordered the same thing.

Honestly, we hit the best places and had the best food while vacationing in Isla Mujeres. Cafe Mogagua had an incredible menu, tons of options to select from, great service and fresh ingredients. I highly recommend starting with a frozen Frappuccino. Then the Salmon Benedict with a side of bacon. If you want something a little more light and fresh, the açaí bowl was filled with fresh fruit and seeds. Don’t forget about a Green Juice to give you that boost!

A zen atmosphere, great music, and amazing food and service. Loved it!

I just love this place. My sister introduced me to the Isla Mujeres and this place was a short 2 block walk from our Airbnb The Mermaid and the Pearl. I have never had a bad dish from here. I highly recommend it for either breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

No complaints here!! Cute cafe near the main strip with adorable seating and decorations. Large portions and diverse menu offering Mexican & classic American breakfasts. Also, VEGAN OPTIONS!!! Coffee pretty good as well. Can’t go wrong by trying this place out while on Isla

We stopped here for some lunch after a day of snorkeling. We were starving from all the activity and this place dished an enjoyable lunch with some delicious fish dishes. The atmosphere is open air with nice music playing.

The breakfast here is very good! They have a very nice menu and the restaurant was open air and very nice. I had the breakfast wrap and it was delicious. I will definitely be back to this place.
