Rocamar Hotel Panorámico

We've been to Isla many times and this was a last minute 5 day trip. Really like the hotel. It overlooks the malacon and having the sliding door open at night was great. Always a nice breeze on the Carribean side. 4 blocks from the ferry and close to Hildago but quiet. One minor complaint and one weird note. Wifi extenders would be money well spent. Signal was okay on the main floor and pool but didn't work on the third floor. Weird note, the Tv is a 13" flat screen and for some reason it's behind plexi glass. No big deal as I don't go to Mexico to watch TV. Hotel is also a block from Super Aki and the in room fridge and freezer easily holds a bag of ice. Private balcony with chairs and a hammock was nice as well.

Great hotel right in front of the ocean and the malecon. Pool is a great addition. Walking distance to many restaurants, hidalgo st, the ferry, and the malecon

Rocamar is an incredible hotel for a fantastic value. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is Room #16. We’ve stayed dozens of places on the island over the past decade and this was our first time to Rocamar. From purchase price, check in, the room (specifically Room #16), location, and checkout.. everything was PERFECT. AC was superior which is critical to have. Room was large with a great bed, balcony, and features inside. Closet space and hangers were greatly appreciated. Bathroom is large with curtains that you can open and close for privacy. Water pressure and temperature were right on target. You get two beach towels at check in - do not lose them. Thought we didn’t use the pool, it was beautiful and would be a lovely place to relax. You can hear the waves crashing at night and it’s lovely. Fresh cold water always located downstairs so just a few steps away from any room. Golf cart (5 spots) + scooter parking (4+ spots) is soooooo nice to have. We loved staying here and will be back in October. Thank you Rocamar!

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times . If you are looking for a clean room with beautiful ocean view I would highly recommend this location. The staff is extremely friendly, and the rooms are always very clean. We will be back again. Highly recommended.

The view was amazing!! Bed and pillows were comfortable. Very clean!! AC worked great. Staff were friendly and efficient. Fantastic value!

Jesse was super friendly and very helpful. The location was perfect. We enjoyed moon and sun rises. The view was spectacular. The room was clean thanks to Kandy. Great value. We will be back.

We love this place, I stayed here 5 years ago in the 2 bed top floor and was amazing this time 6 of is stayed in the beach house and it was amazing, very central, right off the ferry, great pool with views, full shower, wifi. I sprained my ankle and they helped request an on site doctor. They helped schedule golf carts. Staff is super nice, friendly and fun. Cant wait to stay again next year!

Our cabaña was amazing. We had our own private patio right next to the pool. A full kitchen, 2 beds and 2 full baths. There were siding doors all around the living room and in the master bedroom with a king bed. Service was amazing and we were overlooking the ocean. The semi bad part was 2 resident stray cats in heat, but it was bearable. Loved it and highly recommend.

First time stayed at the Rocamar was maybe 2002 and have been back every time since then, maybe 5 or 6 times. This hotel is clean, conveniently located, great staff, great little pool, and the best, and I mean the best balcony view of the Caribbean on the Island. Already planning a return trip in 2023!

We stayed for 6 nights in room 27 and had a very good stay. You are not booking a 5 star hotel if you stay here, however you are booking a clean room with an AMAZING view. The shower pressure was fine and the water was hot. There is no WIFI in the room we stayed in, was not a dealbreaker for us at all. The location was ideal, walking distance to all the shopping and countless restaurants. A ten minute walk to playa norte as well. I would stay here again and request room 27 because it had a larger balcony!

The view from the room was gorgeous! My husband picked this place for our honeymoon and I'm so glad he did. This place is walking distance from a great grocery store and a strip of restaurants and shops. Not too far of a walk from the beach. There is also local transit close by. Very helpful staff. The only downside was the hot water in the shower took about five minutes to heat up. Otherwise everything was great!

Great location and spectacular ocean view!!! The price is right. A few minutes walk from Playa Norte and the main venues. Close to the ferry from Cancun, supermarket, banks and transportation.
There is free coffee, water and wifi at the lounge area.

Great views, I was surprised by how updated the rooms were since the cost was very appealing. Our accommodations were very cleanly, and housekeeping was super sweet and friendly. You cant beat the location and price!

I was a bit nervous about booking this place after reading some bad reviews but we had a perfect stay. Hotel Rocamar has amazing views and nice air conditioned rooms. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly and are always around maintaining the grounds and pool area. The location is perfect, 2 minute walk to the ferry which was good as we arrived late. 5 minute or less walk to restaurants, bars and supermarket. I am so glad I booked my stay here. Isla mujeres is amazing and I will return to hotel rocamar.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay. The check in process was quick within 5-10 mins and we were given the quiet room type as requested when we booked which is great. Room is big and clean with amazing ocean view and come with your own private balcony and hammock. Shower water pressure and temperature were on point too. We were worried about the Wi-Fi due to the numerous complaints seen online but surprisingly it was great throughout our stay at the highest floor!

Fresh drinking water located the lobby with hot drinks making facility and they also provide microwave which is a bonus. Location is very strategic as well, just get off the ferry pier then walk straight up the road and within 2 mins you will find Rocamar. Supermarket (Super Aki) is nearby too, within 1-2 mins walk only. So as the restaurants, laundry services and souvenir shops which were less than 5 mins walk. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Con: They can improve on washing the towels, though cleaned but still stained.

We loved staying at Rocamar! We usually rent a house when on Isla but this time we thought we would try the hotel since our stay was going to be shorter this time and we were not disappointed. The room was basic but very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. We loved the location. Close enough to Centro that I could walk and get my taco fix from my favorite street vendor. :) We loved it so much that we are booking it again when we return at the end of this year for a much longer stay. We would highly recommend Rocamar to anyone coming to Isla.

Our room is perfect after 7 days of an all inclusive wedding this is exactly what we needed. Highly recommend the view and sound of the ocean to take away all the stress life gives you

We went two years ago. Absolutely loved it. The view, the room, the pool were amazing and clean. Loved it so much....we are planning another trip!
