Hotel Privilege Aluxes Isla Mujeres

We absolutely loved our stay here.
Room: Lots of room. Great view. We could hear music in the evening from Hidalgo Street which was a great bonus.
Food: We chose non all inclusive because we aren't big drinkers and wanted to try local restaurants. The breakfast was really great with made to order omelets and fresh fruit. We had a burger and sandwich by the pool and they were excellent. The drinks at the bar were reasonably priced.
Entertainment: Great little music events a couple times each day. Very nice.
Location: Great spot near shopping and restaurants.
The beach: Perfection!!
We will definitely return.

This was my first ever resort vacation, first time to Mexico, first all-inclusive, and it was incredible. I can’t compare it to anyplace else I’ve been but I was more than happy with everything. The rooms were clean, and the grounds were well-kept and clean as well. The food was fantastic and there were a lot of options for such a small resort. My favorites were the breakfast at Sabor and our fancy dinner at Satay. The waitstaff were all so friendly and accommodating, the front desk staff were great, the massage I had was wonderful. I have no complaints. The beach was beautiful and the pool area and swim-up bar were very peaceful and the food and beverage service was exceptional. I want to come back again!

My wife and I love this place. Great pool, beach location and close to everything on North Beach. The staff are great and very accommodating. We can't wait to be there again next year.

I loved every detail of our stay. The staff is amazing. A huge thanks to Alexia from guest relations that made my boyfriend birthday very special. The beach club is just a dream, from the breakfast to the evening, for me best part of playa Norte, clean and the sunset is stunning. I wish we will come back soon:)

We had a wonderful stay for a week Jan 20 through 27. The staff was terrific and most attentive. The location was great and the property was beautiful.

This was our first visit to Isla Mujeres and we would highly recommend this resort for a stay and would return without question.

Our 1st time here and so far has not disappointed. The rooms are nice, updated, and clean. I have ordered room service at 8pm, and it showed up within 16 minutes. The staff has been friendly and they ate fast with repairs (very minimal) on the resort.

The hotel is lovely with great facilities and staff. The food at every meal is 5 star and every single member of staff were excellent. We spent most our time at the beach and the 2 beach staff Danny and Misael were the highlight of out trip. They kept our glasses full and were extremely friendly. The location of the hotel is perfect, you could not ask for a better location and the beach is nicest one we went to. Even nicer then the tip of playa norte as it was narrow and crowded.
If we were ever to return to Mexico, Isla Mujeres and this hotel would be top of our list. The only recommendation I could give is (and this could be down to the fact that we travelled for 21 hours door to door and were tired) but we had to work a lot out for ourself. Reception could have done with informing us a little better.

Great location. Rooms were recently updated. Facilities and amenities are excellent. Plenty of lounge chairs in the pool and beach areas. The only thing we didn't like is that the swimming area at this beach is significantly smaller than at other beaches on the island. At north beach you can walk or swim pretty far out as well as in some beaches in the south but the area of playa centro where Privilege is located is roped off pretty close to the shore, probably due to all the boats that pass by to drop people off at nearby beach clubs. I don't swim much muself but it's something to note for people that do.

We recently returned from a week-long vacation here. The hotel and beach are absolutely beautiful. The staff here were exceptional from the moment we arrived. We would like to personally thank Dani at the beach for making our days there perfect. His attention to detail and warm, smiling face and genuine kindness made our beach days phenomenal. Other staff that deserve recognition include - Hugo at the front desk, Ruben at Satay, Greta for night service at the beach restaurant, Misael at the beach bar, Wendy at the Rodizio dinner and Bianca for the amazing massage at the spa, (highly recommend the "Privilege Massage"). We were very impressed with all of you. The tall, slim gentleman that guards the entrance between the beach and the hotel is the sweetest man. I wish I had gotten his name, but he also deserves recognition for all he does. Thank you all so much for an amazing vacation to this gorgeous island. Warmest regards from The Dachels!

This is a special place on Isla Mujeres. It is right in the middle of town. However, it is a quiet oasis.

This is one of the few locations on Isla that has large beach area. The beach area is well maintained. There are recliners to layout and enjoy the sun, canopies with table tops when you want out of the sun.

The beach area also has drink and food services. For those seeking a cabana bed, those are also available, but are rented for extra cost

There is a pool and hot tub area with a swim up bar, and food service. The pool is large and there are plenty of recliners available. Next to the pool is a small gym and massage services. The grounds around the pool and entire hotel are beautiful.

The food is great! There are different options at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You are not required to purchase an all food package but the food is so very good, so well prepared, and so well plated and unique that not doing so is cheating yourself.

Topping off the experience is the staff. This is a dedicated team of professionals that top off the experience at Privledge Aluxes. The staff are super friendly, fun to speak to and learn about Isla. Every staff member we met throughout our stay was great.

The hotel rooms are very nice with a bedroom and separate sofa/bar area that leads to a patio overlooking the grounds. The rooms are super quiet. There are definitely ocean views that get better on the higher floors. There are also roof top suites available. The beds are comfortable. One surprise, there are no USB outlets in the rooms so arrive with a charging block.

When you are ready to visit the town, Privledges is just a few blocks away from Hidalgo Street, also known as Avenida Miguel Hidalgo, a pedestrian street in the center of Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Here there are plenty of restaurants and shops to visit.

My wife and I just had a great experience at this place, a wonderful hideaway for couples, food and drinks are just excellent, staff at pool bar, restaurants and beach club are really friendly and awesome service, Mr. Fernando at Sabor restaurant made us fell welcome everyday for Breakfast, at the SPA we had a wonderful experience, we had a couples massage, Fatima and Karla were just amazing, their healing hands produced a totally relaxing moment.

My only down point is that I was expecting a little more friendly welcome by the staff at the front desk, don´t take me wrong, they were doing their job diligently and provided support when needed, but I was expecting a warmer experience.

This is one of the finest Resorts I've ever visited and have seen at least 15. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place the service is the best. The atmosphere is great. The prettiest Waters in the beach I've ever seen. Easier to swim in the beach little waves and undercurrent.

Miss this place already. Service is the best, every staff was nice and tried to help with anything we’d ask. Perfect beach, not as crowded as playa Norte and still nice beautiful beach. Room is great and I only stayed with breakfast included but the breakfast at the beach was just sooo good. However breakfast buffet was disappointing. Really pretty presentation but tasted eh. Couldn’t understand why the quality of food is so different from those two places inside the same hotel. Still, I definitely will come back!!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. One of the best beaches that I have ever been to. They maintain the grounds great and they make sure to cater to your wants and needs. We ended up upgrading to the All Inclusive. It’s always the best choice if you plan on spending a lot of time on the beach. It’s so easy to sit on the beach and order lunch and drinks. The breakfast buffet is amazing.

The dinner options are limited but all three options are phenomenal.

I will definitely be back.

Privilege Aluxes was PERFECTO. The food was amazing, the staff was so incredibly helpful and welcoming. Came here on a mom-cation with friends and we have all been talking about coming back with our husbands. I will absolutely recommend this resort to anyone looking to stay on Isla Mujeres.

Overall this is a really good property for the price. It’s nestled in between a lot of hoppin bars and beach clubs. The beach is among the best in the world. Beautiful water that’s the perfect temp to cool you off on these hot summer days. The pool is a bit too warm and just nothing special. The food is good and the service is great. We’d recommend the Asian restaurant Satay for dinner. We did the all-inclusive for 4 nights and it was worth the extra even though we ate out for dinner twice. There are just so many options nearby that it’s hard not to try them while you’re here.

One of the nicest all-inclusive resorts I have had the pleasure of staying at! The food was great and the staff is amazing.
