Monumento Natural Cerro de la Silla

Good trail. For someone it can be hard, because it's steep enough, but not too much, because this is the road to antennas on the top. At the middle of the way to the top is lookout. On weekends in the morning there are many people. In the evening, when there are not many people, there are many coati.

I have hiked this trail twice and I love it. It's challenging but worth every moment of it.

It's takes at least 1 hour and half to get to the top. But it's worth it. Make sure to bring water, some snacks, and a good camera.

Monterrey

Here you get the most amazing view of Monterrey. It is quite popular to go to Chipinque, El cerro de la silla is a different type of hike, I believe it's a 2.5km hike but it is uphill most of the time. We started around 6pm on a summer day and got to the place they called "teleférico" at 7:10 which is half way through the whole hike to the top. I would recommend to go very well hidrated, with sunlight (it gets very very dark) and of course if it's the case with a lamp, mosquitos repellent, and some snacks. You really get a whole view of Monterrey and sorrounding landscapes. Do it if you have the condition to do it! Because it's not quite easy.

The view at the top on the Antena is just Amazing, but you are going to have to go to the doctor and replace your knees after you go downhill back to the starting point. LOL. Damn rocks.

Real tiring, but worth the view from the top.

This is the classic mountain range of Monterrey. Pico Sur does not disappoint.
