Hagia Sofia Huatulco - Eco Adventure Park

Rodrigo picked us up at our place in Santa Cruz and took us on a wonderful tour of his Hagia Sofia. They have planted so many fruits and flowers. We were given breakfast and lunch and a tour of their plantings. We swam in their waterfall, and it was much warmer than expected. We plan to stay at least one night in their rustic scenic cabins when we return next year.

Visiting Hagia Sofia is an absolute essential for anyone seeking outdoor adventures beyond the beach, especially if you're keen to indulge in organic, locally-sourced produce. Even as a local, I've frequented this gem for years. I enjoy wandering the picturesque grounds, taking a dip in the waterfall and of course, eating 🤪.

A fantastic destination to revel in the beauty of nature while experiencing the thrill of a zipline adventure! Ensure you're equipped with appropriate attire to shield yourself from the sun and mosquitoes, as you'll likely engage in some light hiking and might even be tempted to take a refreshing dip in the river by the of the tour!

Spent the day at Hagia Sofia yesterday and so glad we did. It took us 1.5 hours to drive ourselves from near Mazunte , easy drive. The last 3 Kim’s is on dirt roads but still not to hard and we only had a useless hire car!
We paid on arrival then We were offered delicious breakfast . One of the guides took us around the amazing gardens . So impressive and we them bumped into the owner ,Victor , who was charming and very interesting to talk to. After this we were taken to the waterfall for a very refreshing dip, just what we needed . We also had lunch there , all included in the price , so well worth the money.
Would highly recommend a day out here or even stay in one of the gorgeous new cabins for a few nights , they were so luxurious inside , and set amongst the fruit trees . Next time we will definitely stay. Thankyou Victor amd you team , we will be back .

Breathtaking ecological park! I loved walking around the grounds and seeing all the biodiversity which Armando has brought to the area. It was inspiring to see someone with so much passion and respect for nature. Learned so much about plants, fruits and different kinds of flowers. Wonderful experience! Looking forward to staying in the newly built cabins. Great place to visit if you’re in the area.

ABSOLUTELY the BEST place we've been in our year here in Huatulco! The family is LOVELY, the place is BEAUTIFUL, filled with Mexican Culture and Heritage!

Such a beautiful place to visit with so many different varieties of plants. Definitely a must visit everytime I’m in Huatulco.

We had a wonderful time at Hagia Sofia! The guide, Omar, speaks great English. The breakfast and lunch provided with the tour was filling, fresh, and delicious. We saw flowers and tried fruits we’d never seen before. Would absolutely recommend! (Just be sure to bring bug spray)

if you want a day connecting with the nature, this is your thing, a wonderfull place where you can relax, get to know so much more about the mexican and oaxacan culture, really peacefull place, also if u are more into thrilling adventures they have ziplining with amazing views to, such a great place to visit in huatulco or if you are in oaxaca coast

It is a great place, the food and fruits are very delicious, 100% recommended if you want something out of the ordinary.✨🍃

We were a group of 19 & we took vans to the eco park. We were greeted by the owner/guardian Armando with hot coffee & Oaxacan quesadillas. There was fresh fruit & agua fresca. Everything was cooked on a wood stove. Armando took the group on a tour of the grounds which are literally awe-inspiring. He has imported fruit bearing plants from around the world to increase Mexico’s food production. The end of the trail leads to a waterfall in which we all swam. We were then given a lovely lunch & all git the try the “magic fruit” that makes a lemon taste like a sweet orange. There was so much more to the tour that you need to experience for yourself. It was fantastic!

Magical place. A true garden of Eden. If you want to feel pure beauty go there. The flowers you will find there are so colorful and majestic. The work to make this place happen is to be praised. The walks through the property bring you Bliss and enchantment. The diversity of flaura in such an area is unimaginable. The fruits that are being cultivated here are unlike anything I've seen. Can't wait to come spend more time here. Don't miss it. Go visit!!!

This is a wonderful place. The tour was awesome and breakfast and lunch was good as well and informative. A bit of a driving adventure to get there but well worth it. Would do again.

The grounds of Hagie Sophia are absolutely beautiful. Armando the owner gave us a wonderful tour. Breakfast and lunch were great. As was the staff. I highly recommend visiting here.

Extremely nice hosts of a beautiful orchard and ecological park. They grow delicious fruits that you get to try while you visit.

Hagia Sofia es un paraíso en la selva. La cantidad de plantas, flores y aves me dejó con ganas de quedarme a dormir en sus cabañas. La cocina de leña es una maquina de sabores :)

Hagia Sofia es un lugar mágico que te conecta 100% con la naturaleza. Puedes admirar diferentes fases del cultivo de árboles frutales y flores exóticas durante el recorrido que te dan y también es un santuario natural para mariposas y aves.
Al final del recorrido, podrás nadar en el río y disfrutar de la preciosa cascada. También cuentan con tirolesas muy divertidas.
Todo el equipo de Hagia Sofía te recibirá con calidez y te guiarán y responderán todas tus dudas. Además, hay cabañas en la cima de la colina que son un lugar encantador para hospedarse.
En resumen, Hagia Sofia es un tesoro escondido en Huatulco. No dudes en visitarlo y disfrutar de la belleza natural que ofrece.

Me encanta Hagia Sofia! Es padrísimo aprender sobre todas las variedades de plantas que tienen, y la tirolesa está increíble.

He ido varias veces y cada vez salgo súper feliz, este año me quedé en las cabañas y me encantó poder conectar más con la naturaleza al quedarme la noche.
