We went to this restaurant without any expectation. The food was fantastic! The Chef has a dish of grilled shrimp with yellow mole. Wow! ... and then the desserts - We had a mandarine mousse, chamomille custard, and chocolate cake with green herb ice cream. We were amazed!!!

Moreover, our servers Aranza and Lidia were well-versed with the menu and were friendly and amazing.

Highly recommend!

A casual restaurant with great food and excellent service. We had pescado in salsa verde and camaron in mole amarillo. The cocktails were well-mixed and delicious.

Excellent cooking class with Pilar! We met at the restaurant, went to Mercado Merced (amazing place!) for ingredients, and spent a wonderful time learning with Pilar at her house. Deeply intense moles and the most amazing tamales were made. Great experience - 5 stars!

Great Food. Relatively casual atmosphere. Service superb. Staff is not fussy. Be sure to make a reservation at least a day in advance.

Great terrasse with a view on the Santo Domingo church! The place is full of character and the food here is delicious. We both had vegetarian tlayudas and loved it. I had mine without cheese and loved how moist and flavorful it was. Very nice service as well!

This meal was very delicious! The coffee wasn’t too hot, and I was able to drink it comfortably right away. Best breakfast I’ve had during my trip!

Delicious food. Comfortable surrounding and excellent service.

We enjoyed a lunch - one of the first Oaxacan meals I truly liked.

The architecture and steel stairs were very interesting.

Delicious, inexpensive Mexican food, with good service and a nice rooftop terrace with views of the Santo Domingo church. Well worth a visit.

A must go in Oaxaca. It’s an unpretentious restaurant but food is top notch making this a great value for money option. I tried the enchiladas with two moles and is probably the best mole I tried in Oaxaca (and Mexico for that matter). The lengua was also really good.

The place is súper welcoming, comfortable and pretty, and the food is AMAZING. As a Mexican, I can say this is the real Mexican flavor and not some sterile version of it. Serving sizes are BIG, so go hungry!

Breakfast: The loaded omelet and salad was amazing. Oatmeal was cooked correctly and tasty. Staff was very responsive and actually filled our coffee without asking! (near empty place at this time). Nowhere that I've eaten does this. Look at the bowl of hot chocolate with milk).

Delicious cocktails and good food. We stopped by on a Thursday evening and there were lots of tables available. We ordered the pescaditas (90ish)and the tostaditas de pulpo (85), would probably go back for the mole but we had just eaten. The cocktails were our favorite part, we tried the Jamaica Rita, the mango manguito, the citrico and the pepino. All of them were amazing and super fresh, I recommend the pepino and Jamaica (all 75pesos). The service was wonderful as well, our waiter was super nice. Check out the terrace if it is open upstairs for a decent view of the city.

Lovely modern and light take on Oaxaca cuisine in contemporary surroundings, make sure to order the dessert flan before the end of your meal to avoid disappointment....

Three floors to choose from in this dining experience. We chose the top Terrace for wonderful Mountain and city views. The tlayuda and chile relleno, pictured, were expertly presented and tasted delicious.

Went here for a friend’s birthday and had the rooftop terrace reserved just for us. The food was very good and the mezcal was plenty. The view from the terrace is great, but not the highest of all the buildings. The staff was attentive and friendly. I only tried the pozole but it was very delicious.
