Visit for a local experience in the middle of the market. A single option for tamale: chicken with black mole - tasty with lots of mole included. Best hot chocolate tried in the area - still (too) sweet but more chocolately than others, especially if ordered with a water base.

Amazing tamales for breakfast. Full of locals. You can't go wrong with this place. The soup some of the people were having looked great. Might go back tomorrow for that

Very clean which was nice, we got the hot chocolate with pan the yema, chorizo con huevo y frijoles my husband got enmoladas everything was so good I highly recommend this place

Went for breakfast. Very crowded. The staff speaks very little English. We were fortunate to sit with a couple from Vera Cruz who helped us order.
Also encouraged us to try ants and crickets. Some of us had fun tasting it.

I can't find words to describe this food. Everything served there was tasty. I ate there almost every day. Either lunch or dinner was a wonderful ( and affordable) experience always.

The tlayuda was utterly delicious and so was the entomatada! Highly recommended.

Delicious breakfast. Try the traditional hot chocolate con leche and the sweet bread (pan dulce). The market is the best place to eat for cheap but the highest quality of food.

My wife is Mexican so me and my son have had alot of different black moles. We both agree this is the best Mole we have ever had. Which unfortunetly include his grandmothers mole. Abuelita's is the best. He left nothing but traces of mole!

The five stars reflect the local typical style. We're ok to take little risks and we had a fresh fruit cocktail (papaya, banana) with granola and honey (the specials from this kiosk are fresh fruit smoothies) .
I know this place it's not for everybody; not many Tourists eating there.
At the entrances of the structure, everybody is obligated to wash hands and as of today (January 2023) wear COVID mask 😷.

Place is clean and only prepared food. No raw meat/chicken/fish as other markets.

Inside the Mercado 20 de Noviembre, this popular little place offer very good food at a very reasonable price, most local people eat at this place! I had a Tlayuda that cost me only 130 peso ($6.59 USD).

Es uno de los muchos comedores que se sitúan al interior del mercado 20 de nov.

No digo que sea el mejor o el más recomendable, pero no decepcionó. En efecto su mole negro ⚫ está en un gran nivel.

Visitalo y prueba algo de su menú. 4 generaciones de cocineras oaxaqueñas respaldan la calidad de este lugar.

Si tienes suerte, encontrarás mesa rápido, sino te tocara esperar un poco, pero vale la pena.
