Really enjoyed our dinner here while in Oaxaca. We had a reservation for a birthday. The staff were welcoming and the space is beautiful! Food was very tasty and we thought a good value. Drinks were well balanced - get the mezcal last word. Would recommend to others.

I’m very sorry to hear that people have had a negative experience at this restaurant. For me, the service was unbelievable! My waiter was so friendly, welcoming and pleasant to interact with. He was very helpful being that I am a vegetarian, and there was plenty on the menu that suited me. The ambiance & decor were delightful. It’s a safe bet as a foreigner as all the water they use is purified. It was great to eat some vegetables without fear and even have ice in my drink!

One of our best experiences in town - lovely food, drinks, atmosphere and service. This is a safe bet if you wish to have some elevated local cuisine.
All dishes were just amazing, highlighting in the chicken breast with Mole tasting - that just allows you to taste the essence of the Oaxacan cuisine.
The molten La a cake was just sublime, but the espresso could be done a bit better - it was over extracted.
The service was just wonderful, our waiter really made an effort with English and was patient and lovely.
The atmosphere is very nice - the restaurant is quite small and really allows you to enjoy a beautiful summer night, due to the open roof.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had! The menu is so unique, the flavors are incredible. Absolutely get the Hoja Santa leaf (stuffed with cheese), the octopus (wow wow), the stuffed chicken & the mole sampler with plantain fritters. The drinks were also incredible. To end, we loved the guava cheesecake!!

We also loved our waiter & the ambiance. Such a memorable meal and a great way to end our stay in Oaxaca.

I’ve had two excellent meals here, although the second meal a year after the first was less interesting. Beautiful courtyard dining, exceptional service, and really carefully prepared food. I recommend the moles, either as an appetizer or as a meal with chicken.

Fantastic lunch. Had the tuna ceviche and five mole platter with mezcalitas. Wonderful flavours, friendly staff who explained the details of each dish patiently.

This was our best meal so far in Oaxaca.

Service was fantastic. Our server Omar went above and beyond with his hospitality and storytelling to create a memorable experience.

The menu was full of novel dishes and included several ingredients that were new to us. Hoja Santo leaf, the oxacan bug salad, mole tasting, and quelites herbs. Food was good but not the most delicious things we've eaten on this trip (that honor still goes to the street food).

Overall still a great experience highlighted by spectacular warm and friendly service.

Although the drinks aren't particularly
the best in Oaxaca (I had to ask them to reduce the sweetness of my cocktail), the food is excellent without needing to be pretentious, with regional ingredients and interesting fusions. All the dishes were fantastic. The service is always attentive and knowledgeable.
It's important to make a reservation at least one to two weeks in advance.

Amazing meal and service. The beef tongue tacos were especially incredible, one of the best things we’ve had in Mexico. Our waiter Luis was brilliant and everyone was really friendly and welcoming. The decor was modern and nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend

This restaurant in Oaxaca is a calm oasis away from the busy spots nearby. It's beautifully decorated and the service is top-notch. While it's a bit more expensive than other places around, it's reasonable for travelers from the US or Europe. We tried the Mole Los Danzantes, Shrimp Aguachile, and Caldo Tilapeno, and they were all delicious.

This is one of my favorite high end restaurants in Oaxaca. For drinks we had chocolate con leche and a cherry mezcal cocktail. We ordered the yellowfin tuna tostados (my favorite), beef tongue tacos (very juicy and tender) and hoja leaf stuffed with cheese for appetizers. For the main course we had the blue corn gnocchi. Everything was so good and filling that we didn't have space for dessert. The venue is absolutely gorgeous with a ceiling area that opens up after sunset.

This place is extraordinary. The food, the ambiance and care is outstanding. Please book in advance. Do not miss the mole tasting with flight of mezcal. Our host was Omar a passionate kind person with impeccable knowledge about food and culture.

One of the best gastronomy experiences of my lifetime.

A really stunning restaurant. We didn’t have a reservation and the front of house lady said it would be 1.5-2 hours however it was only 30 minutes before she called to say a table was ready. The food was really delicious, recommend the mole taster and the octopus. The water on our table wasn’t refilled in a timely fashion so that was just a little bit annoying to have to keep bringing the server over but overall a really great dinner spot and will recommend coming here for dinner one night if you can

Make reservations- this is a very popular place for a good reason. Cocktails are the best and the food is really good. We could have spent hours sitting there eating - it’s such a beautiful artful setting. This is a not to miss experience.

Restaurant is located at heart of action and easily accessible. Walking distance from most hotels near the square. The atmosphere is so beautiful and relaxing. It is popular with domestic tourists too. Has a huge bar and cocktails flow easily. Food is spectacular. We opted for sharing so we could taste more variety. There is a lounge area to sit as well but looks uncomfortable for eating so we opted for a table. We were tempted by the mezcal tasting - it’s their own mezcal but since we had a mezcal tasting booked we just watched the table next to us rave about the tasting.

Dress is casual/formal. No need to be super dressy but most people were in proper comfortable attire. In general Oaxaca vibe is boho but a slight step up from super casual.

Can’t wait to go back! Go and enjoy the entire experience.

Wow! Where to start... The decor is breathtaking and the ambiance is a perfect zen.

We tasted several dishes such as the mole sampler with tortillas of three colors, ribs and octopus. We ended our unique culinary experience with a signature coffee dessert, which was amazing.

But what was simply spectacular, was the service. First, the hostess Fernanda went out of her way to accommodate us. The waiter Antonio was so informational, articulating every ingredient and the dish's history. Our other waiter Omar was also very friendly and professional.

Ownership did a fantastic job in having such great ambassadors of the restaurant.

This Oaxacan artisan restaurant truly captures the essence of traditional Mexican cuisine through its utilization of locally sourced ingredients to craft dishes that burst with authentic flavors. Each bite tells a story of the region, showcasing the rich culinary heritage and cultural diversity of Oaxaca. From the perfectly spiced mole to the handcrafted tortillas, every dish is a masterpiece that highlights the freshness and quality of the local produce. The warm and inviting atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to savor the true taste of Oaxacan cuisine. It’s definitely expensive for Oaxaca, but really a great experience. Make sure you make a reservation or come early as the wait can be quite long.

Where to start.. it is a very beautiful restaurant with very calm vibes. The whole place is very classy. The menu is beautifully curated and there are also vegetarian options here.
The service is nice and accommodating.
The prices are also fine considering the food and service they offer.

Loved the vegetarian friendly and healthy menu. Ordered the quelites soup to share, blue corn gnocchi with mezcal tomato sauce, and butter roasted cauliflower. All so good for a total of 755MX (before tip). We didn’t have a reservation but were seated in 40 min. Favorite dinner in Oaxaca!

This was one of the best meals I've ever had in my life, let alone in Mexico. The architecture of the restaurant is stunning and the service is superb. We had the ceviche, pepper with huitlacoche, and the molé platter. We also had some mezcal cocktails. Absolutely everything we ate and drank was incredibly flavorful and delightful. It couldn't have been better. I'm so grateful to the chefs who have shared this artwork with the world. Thank you! I look forward to coming again on my next visit.
