Latin Gym

I used this gym multiple times during my week stay in Oaxaca. It may not be the quality of what you’re used to but still very much will get the job done with a quality workout for a great price. I went in the mornings and if there was anyone else, it was 2 or 3 other people.
10/10 would go here again. I love the old school vibe it gives.

To enter the gym you must enter the convenience store and ask the worker for a day pass (50 pesos) for the gym and then you will be let up the stairs to where the gym is.

An oldschool gym which has all the equipment you need for your full body workout. No fancy machines, no fancy personal trainers. Just you, iron weights, and the dedication to go training while travelling. These machines were probably old already while Schwarzenegger was in his prime so I would stick to the free weights. But that is why you are probably here anyway.

There are maybe 1 or 2 other gymgoers.

Entrance fee is 50 pesos. The entrance is in a small shop. In front of the shop is a flyer saying 'latin gym'.

Very good gym. 50 pesos for a day pass. Many machines. Many treadmills and stationary bikes. Clean and spacious.

in my opinion, this is what a gym should be. lots of space, lots of natural light, tons of OG machines and plenty of organized free weights.

this is not for folks who want fancy spin bikes and a pilates class. if you want some iron therapy it’s got everything you need and the price is right.

PS kind of hard to find because there’s not a lot of signage, but it’s located upstairs in a tienda. you’ll enter what appears to be a bodega and then pay the cashier and she lets you up.

Great old school bodybuilding gym that has everything: machines, free weights, treadmills, etc. Only 40 pesos for a day pass. 👍. Not crowded at all. I'm there when they first open and maybe I see a handful of people. Love this place!

Dont understand the bad reviews.
Its really cheap (40 pesos for one day), quite big, has a lot of machines and is not crowded.
For the price you really get a lot!

Btw, the entrance is a little bit hidden, you habe to go through a shop.

Best gym in oaxaca

Ingresso singolo 50 mxn, palestra vecchia scuola con tutto il necessario al centro di Oaxaca. Bilanceri, dischi, diversi manubri, panche, barre per trazioni, rack, molte kettlebell. Si accede da un negozio e si paga l'ingresso alla cassiera. Ci sono gli spogliatoi ma in quello delle donne non è utilizzabile la doccia (in quello degli uomini non so). Ottima per chi ha voglia di allenarsi senza troppo fronzoli. Musica diffusa.

El mejor, diversos aparatos, puedes poner tu música, costo de visita $60 si quieres unas las máquinas de cardio, nunca está abarrotado, excelente servicio

Los que todos sueñan un gym libre de gente este es el mejor buenos aparatos variedad y sobre todo no se abarrota de gente y puedes entrenar en modo vestía

Centrico y agradable

This is a old school gym with a variety of equipment. 50 pesos per day. It’s definitely an older building and old equipment so not all machines work properly however there is plenty here to get a good workout in. Best part is there maybe 3-4 other people working out, if that. Never crowded. The entrance is located in a small store.
