Photographic Center Manuel Alvaro Bravo

I knew this place because of an exposition of ajolotes, now came back and I saw an exposition about the last 20 years of an atelier of death's day. I was amazing and hope you can go, it is free and you can give tips for support the place.

Set in a wonderful colonial building the exhibit we saw was wonderful. Exploring the tragedies of the Guatemalan uprising of the 80s. This is a free museum with rotating exhibits. Best to think that every visit to a museum in Oaxaca is a also a visit to wonderful residences or churches you would normally not get to visit.

Fantastic, powerful photography exhibits in a restored colonial building. Also studios with works for sale. The exhibits rotate and change throughout the year. Definitely do not miss while in Oaxaca.

Really nice gallery space, definitely suggest stopping by to see what’s on exhibition.

They show several temporary exhibition. This which i saw was really good on international level. The entrance is donationatory.

Beautiful courtyard and photography

Beautiful, inconspicuous building with courtyard housing many stunning photos in a handful of rooms. Entrance is by donation. Definitely worth a 20 minute stop if in Oaxaca Centro.

Very cool exhibition of black and white photos. Clean place, awesome exotic cacti and plants in the courtyard, free entry.

Las exposiciones no tienen costo, es un lugar con una arquitectura preciosa y un patio amplio.

Éste espacio creado para exaltar al fotógrafo Manuel Álvarez bravo uno de los grandes representantes de la fotografía latinoamericana un genio de la cámara ,
En el se desarrollan exposiciones conferencias y también talleres de fotografía , fue fundado por el artista plástico Francisco Toledo el 17 de septiembre de 1966.
La influencia de Manuel Álvarez bravo ha llegado a toda la nueva ola de fotógrafos mexicanos que tratan de representar con su obra la vida cotidiana de un Mexico convulsionado por la violencia y desigualdad social !
Imperdible para los amantes de la Fotografía , gran atractivo del centro histórico !

Las personas que están tanto en coordinación como los profesores que imparten los diferentes talleres o cursos son unas y unos profesionales.
Además las instalaciones son muy buenas y tienen muchas cosas cool que ver.
