Super large space and not busy at all at 8pm on a weekday. Server was knowledgable about mezcal and let me sample some before purchasing. Quite cheap at like 60 pesos for mezcal. Played good American music.

The best place to go dancing and clubbing in Oaxaca. Multiple music selection, from cumbia to electronic, passing through rock and reggaeton. Different floors. Several bars. Great ambiance gathering tourists and locals.

Eclectic space with lots to look at in multiple rooms and levels. The mezcal cocktails were delicious and the live band was very fun!

This is one of the staple bars in Oaxaca. It is very large with a chilled out ambiance but each area has a different vibe. On the weekends the terrace has a pretty large crowd and a dj . Very reasonably priced and with solid service. Definitely worth a visit.

I've been in Oaxaca for two months and have frequented Txalaparta quite a bit while here. The staff is incredibly helpful and the "vibe" is superb. Txalaparta is my favorite watering hole here by far. The upstairs patio is great and most of the live music and DJs are as well. There's a good mix of locals and foreigners, too.

Very nice bar, all different kinds of music and fair prices! You get strong mixdrinks and beer is cheap. Nice vibe here!

Expansive. Live music. Good times. Go to the upstairs terrace if you feel like openi g a can of crazy. Visit Super Toño (bar downstairs) for a Sacapalabras Mezcal tasting and great artisanal beer.

Fun place if you're a tourist who speaks passable Spanish to make some new friends (given you have a blonde friend for them to hit on). Overall hip and fun bar.
